The staff is incredibly helpful to help you choose the right wine for you (and always give you a generous pour). I adore all of their flower arrangements on the communal table - unique, artsy, and just gorgeous. I also support the 23% service fee upfront, as 1 - it’s worth it and 2 - I prefer not to deal with bills or payments later on (which would be disruptive to the flow of the hangout).“

I love telling friends how much I like this place, but then I know that only makes it harder for me to get reservations here. “I recently visited Prima for dinner with a friend and had a really great experience. This is definitely a spot I’d recommend making a reservation for since it does tend to book up quick. We booked ours about a week in advance with no issues, but the restaurant was filled to the brim by the time we left!
In terms of what we ordered, we started out with the meatballs for an appetizer which are always a hit.
For our mains, I was unsure on which pasta I wanted, the vodka or the pesto pasta. I learned a helpful hack, and it’s that they’ll allow you to order 2 pastas, half orders (seen in the photos)! Great for those who are indecisive like myself, and want to try everything on the menu.“

“Definitely stop in here when you visit Encore. An absolutely fun experience! For a small menu there is surprisingly a lot of choice. Pick a charcuterie platter for two (they offer 3 sizes). Everything is cut up and sliced right in front of you. We had the bacon and Bourbon salami, 24 month aged prosciutto di Parma, and aged parmigiano Reggiano. We also got a baked brie. They have a wonderful wine list, but trust me when I tell you the house, red/white that comes with the platter is delicious. Our server Peter went above, and beyond, was super attentive, and made a great experience even better. He even wrote down a list of places we should visit close to the assembly Row area while in Boston. Be sure to ask for a small piece of honeycomb to go with your wine, meat and cheese. Bon Apetito“
