“Wow. The service was excellent. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a big smile. The bartender Jess was so lovely, she took the time to find a good drink for me and was very creative. All of the servers worked together cohesively and so they would pass by and take an empty plate away or a dirty dish. It felt like I had so many people waiting on me. The food was excellent, I had a few different dishes. The snap pea salad was my favorite, along with the roast beef sliders. Everything was prepared so delicately I almost didn’t want to ruin the aesthetic by putting my fork into it! The food tasted even better than it looked. “We had our engagement party at Zuzu's in mid May and it was wonderful! We already knew the snacks, desserts, and wine would be fantastic from our previous visits. What really stood out was how attentive Alexandra was throughout the process. She did an amazing job of setting up our food and bev choices and was very flexible when our guest count changed last minute. We had exactly what we needed and ended up with only a few leftovers. Everyone was so helpful on the day of the event as well! The space was arranged perfectly and already so charming that we barely needed to decorate. We received many compliments from our guests and of course we had a great time as well!“

“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. Just genuinely attentive, professional, and welcoming service that elevated the entire experience. An unforgettable dinner all around. We can’t wait to come back.“

“We stopped by Laylas American Tavern for brunch and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The pancakes were some of the best Ive had in a long time and the brunch bowl was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the Buffalo Chicken Caesar Wrap and the Turkey BLT and both were incredible. You can tell they care about the quality of the food because every bite was fresh and well made. The portions were generous and everything came out hot. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. This is the kind of place you leave already thinking about what you want to order next time. Easily one of the best brunch spots in South Boston and we will definitely be back.“

Great spot for a romantic dinner for two but still a place where a solo diner feels welcome. Wonderful menu with choices for the adventurous and not so adventurous eater. “We had a party of 7 and were seated in a semi-private area, near the entrance, behind the host table, which was very convenient for conversation. The food was very good, we tried many different plated from the tapas (crispy potatoes and the sliders were the highlight). We made sure to order the 2 paellas early, because they did take some time to cook. The seafood and the rib paellas were fantastic. We were very lucky to have a great server, she checked in on us often and kept our drinks refilled. The overall experience was excellent for our first time and we would recommend Boqueria to our friends“

“We are frequent visitors to the Boston, Capitol, Grille, and always look forward to our time there. For the first time I was a bit disappointed. The bone in ribeye was properly done, but contained excessive amount of fat and very little lean meat. I didn't bother to return it because I was going to address my disappointment in this message. Further, perhaps because of the lettuce crisis, the wedge salad was unusually poor. In addition to the tough lettuce, bacon strips were offered rather than bacon bits. For what it's worth I prefer the bits An aberration, I hope. We look forward to seeing you again in January and hopefully things will be back to their normal high standards.“

“My husband and I stopped by here for after dinner drinks and had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. The bartender Juan was knowledgeable and let us try a variety of port and Maideria wines. It was a great experience and we felt like we were in a wine tasting in Portugal. He was very attentive and made the experience phenomenal. The ambiance was also very nice. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone in the area and don’t sleep on the Port wine!“

“This is one of my favourite sit down pizza places around Boston. I love the vibe of the place, especially sitting on their outside seating during good weather. The 2 times I’ve been here, both times I was amazed by the things I ordered. To add, I’m a vegetarian too, and the pizza I tried this time was the eggplant pizza, it was so good!! “Everything about Limoncello’s is terrific. I started back in the early 2000’s having lunch when visiting family that lives in Chelsea. Then we came this past summer for my son’s 10th birthday. We dined there Friday and Saturday night this past weekend because my son loves it so much. If you haven’t tried it, then get there! It’s the best I’ve had in the North End! Maurizio is a gentleman and his family treated us wonderfully. Chico is a great server and LuLu is quick witted, kind, and BEAUTIFUL! Every staff member was great…especially one person that really made my boy feel special.“
