“Spectacularly fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. The indoor atmosphere is not fancy, but the clam chowder, spicy chowder, and lobster bisque were hot and delicious. The fried flounder with French fries was a generous portion as well. The service was very friendly. While we ordered at the counter, they did not ask us to pay until after the meal“

The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.“

As you can see Mikey himself packed them up beautifully and the handled the plane ride perfectly! My next post will let you know how they taste. “We enjoyed the omakase dinner at Akame restaurant. The restaurant is ultra small, just 6 seats during each seating so there plenty of opportunities to chat with chef and watch him create our dinner. I enjoyed creative combinations of flavors and textures. I loved all the fish offering, however my favorite turned out to be the four gras served on crispy rice crispies topped with yuzu jam and chocolate. Heavenly!
The restaurant is hidden away in an alley off Mass ave. We parked right in front of it, but did not see it, because the only sign is a black writing on the door which we could not see due to reflections. For reference, it is next to Fruitee Yogurt, which has bright signage.“

I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

Also the restaurant struggled with temperature control....granted it was super cold out but all of us at the table were cold inside the restaurant. “We haven't been to a Ruth's Chris in a while. Our experience was outstanding. We just wanted a nice dinner out. Ruth's Chris didn't disappoint. We started with some wonderful cocktails and the small seafood tower, it was delicious lobster, huge shrimp, lump crab meat and a raw tuna salad . My wife had the filet and shrimp. The filet was tender and perfectly cooked, the shrimp were grilled perfectly. I had the 40 ounce porterhouse cooked perfectly Medium Rare , tender and juicy with a blue cheese/truffle crust. We split two sides A giant baked potato and a side of grilled asparagus. Everything was fantastic. Our server Robert was awesome polite,friendly, and professional he was very attentive. We never felt rushed . He seemed like he really enjoyed his job. It was a pleasure having him as our server. We will be back again.“

Our waitress was friendly and generally prompt but forgot a few requests, which she promptly rectified when reminded. Our booth was very comfortable and clean. Traditional decor.
