“I have been going to Grassfields for many years and have been very pleased. The past few times I have been there I ordered the broiled scallops and have been disappointed. The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.“

I needed to organize a nice dinner for 15 people for my son's birthday. The whole process was absolutely flawless - from initial contact with Igor who took care of all the planning and setup. As you can see Mikey himself packed them up beautifully and the handled the plane ride perfectly! My next post will let you know how they taste. “We enjoyed the omakase dinner at Akame restaurant. The restaurant is ultra small, just 6 seats during each seating so there plenty of opportunities to chat with chef and watch him create our dinner. I enjoyed creative combinations of flavors and textures. I loved all the fish offering, however my favorite turned out to be the four gras served on crispy rice crispies topped with yuzu jam and chocolate. Heavenly!
The restaurant is hidden away in an alley off Mass ave. We parked right in front of it, but did not see it, because the only sign is a black writing on the door which we could not see due to reflections. For reference, it is next to Fruitee Yogurt, which has bright signage.“

I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

Also the restaurant struggled with temperature control....granted it was super cold out but all of us at the table were cold inside the restaurant. “Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“

“An impromtu visit to celebrate a work win. Always a fantastic meal, my wife's favorite steak prep method with the butter on her ribeye. The creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes are big faovorites too. Wine and coctails were equally satisfying and very well prepared. Service was very polite and timely but not obtrusive. Never an easy task and usually a challenge keeping our teenager's water glass full and napkin supply sufficient! We'll be back again soon!“

“First time checking out the Billerica location, we go to the Tewksbury location all the time. This location is located inside of an old
Colonial style building. The bar side looked great but we sat in the dining room. The menu is the same and the quality of food is great. The craft beer selection was decent with a few local breweries represented, including Spy Glass Stateline IPA. Which was tasty. I got the Western Burger which did not disappoint either. Fries are always great, nice and crispy!

Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is great! It’s the main reason we go so often. They make a great grilled cheese with fries for a reasonable price.“
