My granddaughter felt the evening was one of the highlights of her summer. The food was unbelievable, the atmosphere was wonderful and our chef and hostess were incredible! “My girlfriends and I stopped into this little diner on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious (classic comfort food done right!) Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and our meals came out surprisingly fast. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier!! They treated us like regulars from the moment we walked in. You can really feel the heart and pride they put into their place. Definitely one of those hidden gems that makes you wish every restaurant still had this kind of charm and hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back!”

“On our Ladies Day out July 8, 2025, we picked Seaport Grille for our dinner spot. Beautiful ocean front setting. Can dine inside or out. I had the mussles appetizer over a side of linguini that came with 2 pieces of Garlic bread. Someone got the Lobster Roll. All the food and drinks were excellent. The waiter was spot on. Very clean. Highly recommend.”

“As an expatriate of New England (Massachusetts and Maine) and an avid preparer & eater of fresh seafood all my life, I can categorically state that the shipment of lobsters and steamers we received last week from Intershell was the best we've ever had since I moved to the midwest 30 years or more ago. The lobsters were 2 1/2 pounders. They were lively, sweet, tender, and delicious. And despite their large size, the clams were clean (clear of grit) and *most importantly* tender and sweet. The seafood was very well packaged, arrived on time and, while not inexpensive, the price was competitive. The best seafood dinner we've had in years! We will definitely be ordering from you again!”

We are from the south, and are honestly used to sickeningly sweet cupcakes that you have to scrape most of the icing off to eat the cupcake… These cupcakes were delicious! The frosting was light and fluffy and the cupcake was light and sweetened just right. Such a pleasant surprise! I would rate this one of the very best cupcakes I’ve ever had! Just delicious! My kids enjoyed the cake pop and the sugar cookies as well! Thank you for a delightful dessert after eating at the Blue Collar Lobster next door! (Which was also delicious!)”

“You will not find a more beautiful, excellent hotel than here. They have exceptional staff, excellent food, amazing accommodations. There is just not enough good to say about the Beauport Hotel. They did not miss any details. The interior is so beautiful and inviting, the food menus are eclectic and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Recently ran into a self created 😂 snag, and Lauren went above and beyond duty and out of her way to resolve it! Don’t miss the Beauport.”

The owners are warm, lovely, friendly people who run a high quality bakery. Although I am particularly partial to their whole wheat bread, all of their products (scones, cookies, olive bread, brownies, etc. etc.) are excellent and sold at a very reasonable price.”

Some of our favorites are the scallop risotto, bistro burger, calamari, onion soup, lobster roll, and fried haddock. They have also had some great specials. Nick, the manager, and Chef Sal are doing a great job. Rob, bartender, has created some delicious drinks at the bar. Highly recommend his espresso martini! Don’t walk by this place. “I grew up on Long Island NY going claming, fishing, crabbing and lobstering with my grandfather and uncles. Where I live now I can no longer get the soft-shell clams until I found the Fresh Lobster Company. I have now ordered from them twice and have received top quality food. It tastes fresh like they were just dug up. I will order again for this Thanksgiving season.”

“I'm an old guy who mostly gets his coffee (so I gave the food a neutral rating). What REALLY brings me back is my love of coffee, and the young, energetic and frankly, warm-hearted, welcoming and courteous staff there these young people put a smiling face on a job that's made of long hours and little thanks. But if you stop there frequently. They adopt you as though you were family. This may be a unique feature to the Maplewood Ave store, but there is some reason things there are so customer service and family oriented. And Mc Donald's out to identify and bottle it!

“I was there last night getting a late night meal and I was greeted by this very nice gentleman. He offered me the chicken pastor and told me if I wanted a sample I tried it out and it was wonderful. I love how he offered me a sample of the item then I ask him what was his name he said his name was Newton and he was the night manager. He is a very, very nice man. I will be going there again. Excellent service. Keep up the good work.”
