“My girlfriends and I stopped into this little diner on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious (classic comfort food done right!) Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and our meals came out surprisingly fast. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier!! They treated us like regulars from the moment we walked in. You can really feel the heart and pride they put into their place. Definitely one of those hidden gems that makes you wish every restaurant still had this kind of charm and hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“My family eats here all the time, but this is my first time coming and I was blown away by the positive and sweet customer service, the cozy interior, and the quality of the food. The owner, Katie, was such a sweetheart. There are specials you can choose from as well as a curated menu with breakfast classics that everyone loves. I absolutely loved my time here, and I can’t wait to come back!“

“Wander in here on island time and have some dumplings and some big ole chicken that’s fried. Portions be big style and tastey.
PBR score 17 out 18 they do not have PBR but no one cares cause good island style restaurant.

“Place was spotless. Drive up appeared to be busy from the inside but I could see the cars were moving along. I went inside so I didn't have to have my husband go thru the drive thru (he's not a coffee person) They were friendly and it only took about 2 mins to get my coffee. It's on a busy street, a corner and it was difficult to take a left out of the parking lot but I would definitely go again!“

“I was on an errand Yesterday to the Post Office Boxes for a friend. I got there about 2 minutes after 12 and just missed them. I had no idea they closed for lunch, and I missed them by minutes. Being from out of town, I decided to walk Lexington Ave, which was lovely. My son was with me and we decided to stop in to Girlfriends (love the name) for coffee. Once there, the menu, the atmosphere and the people were great and we decided to eat. The food was great, reasonable and Cindy our waitress was just fun. We met a couple from Connecticut visiting and began chatting. It’s just that kind of atmosphere that lets you be comfortable and at home. Go enjoy and take the leftovers home for another meal. Great place. Decided that each time I go to Gloucester, I’m going there as well. Enjoy.“

“Never in my life have I ever ordered My usual Hazelnut coffee and blueberry muffin and the muffin actually come out FRESH AND WARM. Like this was right out the Oven or microwave but either way it was amazing! Gloucester Dunks on Washington street i think it was thank you!“
