“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!“

“This is my favorite coffee spot in Beverly. They are always well staffed and friendly, and their baristas are consistent with drink and espresso shot quality. I’ve been here often enough over the past year that I can tell they have good staff retention, which is a good sign that they treat their people well, and I know helps with that quality and consistency.

I recommend their hot chocolate with their house made marshmallow, anything with espresso in it, and their tot bowls. Their tater tots are delicious and any sandwich can be made into a tot bowl.

I would skip the bakery items unless you have a little one, they are the only item type that I’d skip here. That said, I’d love to see babka or homemade poptarts in the case, but am happy with my hot food and iced latte.“

The owners son Joe greeted us and was incredibly helpful because we mentioned we’ve never had hot pot before. “Biked through town from Boston with a crew of 6 on a Saturday morning. This was the only place open before 11 am and I’m so glad it was. Place was packed but service was quick. Got a banana recovery smoothy with an espresso shot added and it was sooo good. They also have gluten free bread and took my allergy very seriously! Will be visiting again!

I thought I was going for a inner city decay tourism, but instead got charmed. People were actually happy there dispite the crowd streets lined with auto detail/body shops. Best place for a rush of mood for studying MCAT.
The bathroom is well above the average for Starbucks.

Poor Dylan was the only employee working and was able to get orders out and maintain professionalism through such a difficult situation. Apparently his two other coworkers walked out leaving him on his own at one of the busiest times. Dylan deserves a raise. Not sure who the manager is but Dylan is a star and needs to be rewarded for his amazing work.“
