“Recently had a rehearsal dinner here for my son and future daughter-in-law (now officially my daughter in law) and wanted to give them a shout out of recognition for both their amazing food and amazing staff. This was a top notch restaurant and everyone who attended raved how great the food was. We had happy hour with appetizers and a buffet of varied bbq choices to also include Mac’n cheese and scrumptious corn bread. We ended with desserts of banana cream pie and St. Louis dirt pie which were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The owners are fantastic and they certainly made sure everything was perfect. A big thank you to red river bbq.“

“I can’t comment on the rooms here as we joined them for their restaurant only, but I can say that the food, service and ambiance are all excellent. Ingredients are obviously of primary importance to the chef, and the dishes are very well prepared and presented. It is expensive and the clientele tends to be older, though not exclusively so. There is ample seating inside and out.

“This is a nice place to go for a quick little meal. It has high ratings and was close to the place we were staying. Plus it was open after tourist season. We arrived around 8 on a holiday Monday morning in November. The only customers were a handful of older men at the counter with their newspaper and cheerful banter. 2-3 employees were working the floor and sitting down at a booth to chat with one another or do a crossword between orders. It was a layed back atmosphere. The wall/mural painting is old but looks wonderful. The walls contain antiques which make for fun conversation starters. Food came out fast and cooked nicely. It wasn't over the top, just ordinary and good. Straws, butter and syrup were provided without having to ask. Our bill was given to us mid meal and we paid at the counter. Part of the business is a small store where you can get candy, soda and other stuff you'd expect at a gas station.“

“Ashamed to say I finally dined at Viera tonight for the first time. SO glad I did! Perfection on all 3 counts: food, service and ambience! Absolutely everything is made in house and all was divine. Extremely reasonable pricing for exceptional quality. Putting it into our rotation for date night. And did I mention price fixe menu every evening all evening ( except only till 6 on Saturday)?“

“My husband and I wanted to try this place because of their GF offerings. I ordered the GF blueberry coconut French toast and it was delicious!! The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because the server could have been more attentive. He never refilled our coffees or came to check in on us. We also had to wait a while for the check. I would understand that if it were busy but we went on a weekday morning and it was slower than usual I assume, based on the empty tables and ample parking. We will definitely try this place again. I just hope the service is better next time.“

“Chicken noodle soup was so good I had to grab two pints before coming back to NY and a shirt. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. Met the guy who made the soup, he knew I was traveling with it so he hooked me up with a huge bag of ice and put the bag together. The one lady bagged the noodles separate so they couldn't absorb the soup, really kind thoughtful people.“

“We happened to be in Orleans and decided to grab an early dinner at The Barley Neck. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a bottle of French Chardonnay. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we ordered a second dozen. My husband had a lobster pasta dish for his entree and I had a Thai style tuna steak. Both were delicious, but a special thumbs up for the tuna. It was without a doubt the BEST tuna steak I’ve ever had! We finished with the pineapple upside down cake special! O.M.G. Everything was consistently amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming! From beginning to end the experience as a whole was on point! 10 out of 10!“

So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! “I am a regular at 400 East and have been for many years. The staff always make you feel welcome and at home. The food is always good and reasonably priced. It has become my Cheers and I highly recommend it.“

“The first day open for the spring season. I would have not known if I were not informed as it felt like it was always open. “Sunbird is one of my favorite breakfast spots on the cape. The food is unique and wholesome. My favorites are the breakfast tacos and chai latte. I love the picnic tables and patio in the back - such a relaxing spot to enjoy quiet or a catch up with friends!“

“My family went to The Breakfast Room yesterday and had an amazing experience! We were greeted by such a kind host. Despite how busy it was, they were patient and we were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was phenomenal, we did not feel rushed to order, but when we finally decided what to order from their huge and enticing menu, the food came out so fast! It was hot and delicious. When we went to pay our bill, there was a bit of a line but the cashier was efficient and delightful. One thing that really stood out was how kind and patient all of the staff were, especially when there were some very impatient and quite honestly, rude, customers. They always had smiles on their faces, and treated us so well. We will definitely be back!“
