“Just left Scargo We’ve been patrons of your restaurant for many years, often at the bar. Food is always consistent and delicious. Tonight was good news and bad news. On the bad news, Debbie at bar was abrupt, not friendly and a disappointment from what we are use to. On the very good news, CJ was fantastic. Personable, quick, friendly and knows how to interact with customers. We hope it’s all good news next time.“

We always enjoy dinners at Spinnaker. The food is artfully prepared and very flavorful. Tonight I had a delicious striped bass. The kitchen was kind enough to substitute roast potato’s for the listed mashed and they, too, were delicious. In addition to the potatoes, the fish was served with garlic green beans, tomato confit, and an asparagus puree that elevated the bass. Service was friendly and timely. We had a lovely evening.“

“Very good diner food. Ate there with my family and we all enjoyed our meals. The grilled muffins were solid but they did give us the wrong muffin (we didn’t get to try pistachio got chocolate chip instead).

Sandwiches were good. Breakfast quesadilla was very good but very big.

French toast was a crowd pleaser.

“Very nice place with excellent food and service. No res, party of 7. They accommodated us, at our request for tables of 3+4. After cocktails they were even able to move us together. Waitstaff Kali checked on us, made recommendations and was so pleasant.

I'm not a local but when we come to the area, we'll definitely return.

“Ashamed to say I finally dined at Viera tonight for the first time. SO glad I did! Perfection on all 3 counts: food, service and ambience! Absolutely everything is made in house and all was divine. “We had the rueben and some chicken wings. Both yummy. Great fries and not too many. Hot and crunchy. It was a rainy night and the AC was blowing on us. I'm guessing it's a good atmosphere for a warm summer day but for us cold, not helped by a table of heavily drinking golfers who were loud, and super crude. The hard surfaces amplified their noise. We should have sat with everyone else at the other end of the restaurant with everyone else. It was too late by the time we figured it out. Staff was awesome. Tara and Mike.“

It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! “We happened to be in Orleans and decided to grab an early dinner at The Barley Neck. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a bottle of French Chardonnay. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we ordered a second dozen. My husband had a lobster pasta dish for his entree and I had a Thai style tuna steak. Both were delicious, but a special thumbs up for the tuna. It was without a doubt the BEST tuna steak I’ve ever had! We finished with the pineapple upside down cake special! O.M.G. Everything was consistently amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming! From beginning to end the experience as a whole was on point! 10 out of 10!“

Saw other people come in after us, order, and be served. 🤔 After about 45 minutes, got up to ask where breakfast was; “it should be out soon” 🤷🏼‍♀️We we’re seriously contemplating getting up and leaving !! (Again, a breakfast sandwich, and 2 scrambled eggs!🤔) And it still wasn’t too busy in there. Our waiter didn’t come bring the food to the table, 2 other people did, never asked if things were ok. When he came to bring the bill, again never spoke to us, but, was talking to the table behind is. 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️ It came HIGHLY recommended, but, we weren’t fans. Oh, and also on my “breakfast sandwich”, I got charged separately for the English Muffin!! 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s listed in the description as coming on an English Muffin, so, again…. Why being charged extra?!!🤷🏼‍♀️🤔 The popover was totally burnt and cold , and sausages over cooked and burned. 2 people- $34, Thanks, but no thanks! Service wasn’t that great! And 45 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and 2 scrambled eggs?!!🤔 We aren’t tourists, we are local to Chatham, and was trying to keep it local, but, …….“
