Try the Lemon Drop martini: cucumber infused vodka, mulled basil ( for 3 days), a splash of Cointreau, lemon and simple syrup. Quite refreshing for a summer day. “Went to Moonfish last week for the first time with a group of friends. Beautiful decor, nice vibe. We all LOVED our meals! Rhonda, our server, was so great. Efficient, personable and fun!!! Great menu; this place has something for everyone! Prices are reasonable; generous portions. Our only negative was the loud music (not live) coming from the bar. We were in an adjacent dining room and the volume was too much!! Can't imagine sitting in the bar area and trying to have a conversation with someone. I will definitely be back to Moonfish. Wonderful addition to the area!!“

“My family has been coming to Cape Cod since the 1970's and eating at the Weatherdeck since the 1980's. As everyone knows, there are many, many places for fried seafood all over the Cape, but this is consistently our favorite. All of the fried seafood and chicken items are fresh, crispy, and never greasy. We also enjoy their flame-broiled burgers. Great shakes and ice cream, too! Service is always efficient and friendly. A family-run, local business vibe for sure. Can't wait to be back this summer :)“

“Wow James Hackney has gotten inspired! We have been dining here for many many years. The room and the view have always brought us back. In the early years the food was exceptional but then had dropped off and the menu never changed much. Well this past Thursday the food was amazing! The lobster carbonara did not in anyway resemble the old version and thankfully so it was delicious! My husband had the halibut and said it was delicious I had the duck and it was amazing! Truly a wonderful dinner. My only negative is I did not like the new decor. I prefer the old beautiful decor/ chairs and tall flower arrangements. Service was exceptional!“

“From the time we were greeted to the end of leaving and saying goodbye, it was an absolute memorable experience. Mario and the chef were some of the most kind happy warm hearted people I have ever met. The food portions were generous and quality was absolutely amazing. The oysters came right off the shell, the lobster roll were thick, chunky and super crunchy. Filled with flavor, we had to try the blueberry coconut bread pudding that was Mario’s personal recipe. The flavor combo complimented each other smoothly. The outer part of the bread was crispy and crunchy with the inside being a fluffy soft delicious pillow. Added with vanilla ice cream for a cherry on top. I’m looking forward to going back for round 2!!!“

The food was amazing across the board... the service was charming (thank you, Duet!) and the desserts were awesome too. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! They use some type of seasoning on it and I liked it. I also thought the roll itself (i.e. the bread) was delicious. I'll be returning for the lobster roll and to explore the rest of the menu.“

Maybe the staffing was difficult at times during Covid, but they always tried their hardest and we were very happy. And the food is always delicious.
