“Ordered their two 2 lb lobsters from Goldbelly and had it shipped to Florida.The lobsters were fresh and still alive when they arrived. Really good quality and packed well. They came in a styrofoam cooler with ice packs to maintain temperature.Pretty good deal, but would only recommend if fresh seafood is scarce in your area.“
“The grilled jerk chicken breast dinner is where it's at here.Paired with its oh so good mango salsa topping and coconut rice. My mouth is still watering, thinking about that tender chicken marinated with that spicy deliciousness that I just ate. I wish I had this recipe being a chicken fanatic. It's so good that I'd be making this on a regular if I knew how. Haha! :)The presentation of this meal is undeniably beautiful too. The colours of the fruit and veg combo just pop right off the plate. It's nice eye candy for those who love taking pictures of their food. And let's face it, I know that so many of us do when it looks this esthetically pleasing. You'll see what I mean from my picture, it'll sure make you hungry. And the nice thing here is the portions are very generous to justify the price, so much that I was too full for dessert.“
“I wanted to buy swordfish and they cut it really thick sometimes I go here year round and I asked the person that was waiting on me. Why do you cut it so thick I know why because they want to sell more swordfish but it’s not what I want to order she didn’t respond. She just stood there and looked at me like where else are you going to buy swordfish tonight?“
“So cool! It was awesome to see the boats coming in from their day out fishing. I studied marine science in college so seeing all the fish was a very cool experience for me. And can't forget about the seals! They just hang out and float around. So fun!“
“I was limited in what I could order because of food allergies, but what I got was delicious (veggie tacos and fries)! Thank goodness they have a dedicated fryer for their french fries because they are delicious! I really appreciate the patience and thorough answers I received as I asked all the food allergy questions.Vegetarian options: There are two vegetarian meal options and three sides, a good number for the size of their menu.Dietary restrictions: I have a bunch of food allergies, the main problems while dining out being wheat and beef. They thoroughly answered all 947 questions I asked, and I was able to safely order the veggie tacos on corn tortillas and french fries, which is not a safe item for me most of the time. I would have loved to order the veggie burger on a gluten free bun but it's not fried in the dedicated fryer.“

“My wife and I came here during a weekend getaway in Cape Cod. We got the fish sandwich and burger with fries. The food was great for the price. “The Beacon Room is a must do. We ventured upon The Beacon Room last year and had such a great experience that we talked about it throughout the year. We knew when we came back this fall we had to go again. The atmosphere is welcoming, restaurant is cozy and warm. The food.... Amazing. Staff.. amazing. In particular, Brian. We made early reservations for a hi-top (definitely make reservations). We asked if the bar was available when we arrived and it turns out it was.. which is what we hoped for. We had such a great experience with Brian last time, so this was a great surprise. Brian is attentive, personable, listens and very knowledgeable of cocktails and food recommendations. He interacts with customers, knows what they like.. all while handling a full bar. You can also share with Brian what you're thinking of ordering and what appetizer might pair up well with that. He's spot on, too! This year we had the Burrata app.. amazing. Lovely toasted bread with garlic, greens and fresh cherry tomatoes. We ordered the duck (as did I last year) and the NY strip, rare. Both came with the phenomenal Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Absolutely fantastic. We each ordered dirty martinis , which were delicious and made perfectly. We will definitely be back next year and will continue to highly recommend The Beacon Room. If you are visiting the cape, we highly recommend you add this gem to your places to visit. You won't be disappointed.“
“We recently stayed at the Orleans Waterfront Inn for a wedding. The hotel is centrally located and a good launching spot to explore the outer cape. The view of the cove from our bedroom was lovely and the wedding reception/ festivities were also great. Everyone working at the inn was very friendly and more than accommodating. The rooms were also clean and comfortable.“
“Wonderful restaurant....with a large bar area in a separate area.We split a large ceasar salad between 3...it could have fed 4 or more.Scallops were plentiful...Lamb chops were seasoned perfectly....over white beans....and the asparagus was cooked perfectly as well.The steaming bowl was full of seafood over a small amount of pasta. The broth was exceptional as was the service.“
“Great seafood market - Helpful staff. Large variety of fish. We ordered the seafood sausage to go - amazing. Casing was a little tough, but will remove it next time I cook it. The sausage, I believe, was filled with shrimp, scallops and fish. Excellent. They also offered a couple different breads - the multi grain was also excellent.“
“The Thanksgiving buffet was a cornucopia of dishes. Raw bar, carving stations, and a Macallan tasting station, to name just some. The food, the service and the ambiance was exceptional. Lastly, the chef and his staff ensured all patrons were satisfied. This was a Thanksgiving to remember!“
