The Fall Act with that cozy soup and the Gobblah, a Thanksgiving sandwich, French Dip–style, cranberry sauce on the side. The dishes feel like they’re designed to amplify the cocktails, not compete with them.

XDCC demonstrates that cocktails don't just have to be apertivos or night caps but can shine along side great dishes. The Acts change, the flavors shift, and every visit feels fresh and intentional. The creativity coming out of both the bar and the kitchen keeps me coming back, not to repeat something, but to see where they’ll go next.

“Great place to watch the sunset, although the very end of it sets behind a condo building. Fun place to go and walk around to view the boats and Boston Harbor. It is quiet at this time of year, but probably mobbed in summer. We sat upstairs and ordered the tuna nachos. The tuna was fresh and fried wontons crispy. Cocktails were fun - I had a coconut one. For dinner we had fish tacos and the burrito. Everything was delicious.“

“We had a wonderful dinner a Mai during their soft opening. The foods good. The service amazing and overall a great night out. We tried a variety of hand rolls and some apps. The fish is definitely high quality in the hand rolls. Our favorites are the Akami, toro, Salmon, spicy tuna and the Duck Foie Gras“

Ordered the lobster roll (when in Rome, right) and it came loaded with both lobster and a huge side of fries. Wasn’t expecting all of that, left fries even. “First of all, the cutest place! The food was excellent, we went on a week night so it wasn't busy and we got a selection of east coast oysters served with a mignonette. Love a place that knows their food, it was cool to be able to have oysters from different locations because a lot of places only have one selection and don't distinguish where they come from. Drinks were fantastic! Had a wonderful espresso martini. Also got the chicken sandwich which was SO good, crispy chicken, great fries, the sauce on it was delicious. I would repeat this place every week if I could!“

“This was a catering experience with Blackstrap for a department holiday party. Melissa worked closely with us to ensure that we had the right amount of food and menu for our luncheon. Payment was easy and the pricing very reasonable. The delivery was made by the chef himself and they set up everything with care. The food was fantastic and everyone absolutely raved about the cornbread (that is something that should absolutely be added/included with any order). All around a wonderful experience and a highly recommended caterer.“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

Probably one of THE BEST meals I've had in a long time when dining out. The food...all of it....our appetizers, entrees and dessert was outstanding! Our waiter Jamis was the best! “My family and I were in the area and popped in to Stoked for lunch. My kids absolutely loved the hand breaded chicken tenders and fries as well as the cheeseburger pizza. My wife and I decided to share a couple of appetizers to start. The meatballs and marinara were outstanding. Perfectly cooked, heated all the way through and moist in the center. We couldn't resist trying a second appetizer on the menu. The short rib quesadilla with Birria broth was out of this world yummy. The short rib literally almost melts in your mouth. And the broth is used to dip the quesadilla in....scrumptious!!! A tremendous asset to the menu in my opinion. For my entree, I had the tagliatelle bolognese which was a beef and pork ragu over pasta with a creamy cheese and a hint of crumbled breadcrumbs. The first thing of note was that immediately biting into the meal, I could instantly tell that the pasta was fresh handmade pasta. That is a big plus for me with any restaurant. The ragu sauce was very tasty with a delicate amount of heat/spice. The crumbled toasted breadcrumbs added a nice nuance to the meal that I wasn't expecting. I also have to give our waitress, Vivian, a shout out. She was very well versed with the menu and provided valuable insight to assist with our selections. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant to check out the rest of the menu. It was/is outstanding!“

“I had the steak tips cooked medium but it came out well done. My amazing server took it back immediately and brought out a Caesar salad for me while I waited for a new order of steak tips. She even took the steak tips off the bill which was much appreciated. Also my boyfriend's ribs came out cold which was disappointing but they just remade his order. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish hit the mark. The wings were flavorful and cooked perfectly, but the real standout was the salad—fresh, vibrant, and honestly phenomenal. I also ordered a French 75, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had—balanced, refreshing, and expertly made.

Service was top-notch as well. Jack, my server, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. His recommendations were spot on and added to the overall great experience.
