The Fall Act with that cozy soup and the Gobblah, a Thanksgiving sandwich, French Dip–style, cranberry sauce on the side. The dishes feel like they’re designed to amplify the cocktails, not compete with them.

XDCC demonstrates that cocktails don't just have to be apertivos or night caps but can shine along side great dishes. The Acts change, the flavors shift, and every visit feels fresh and intentional. The creativity coming out of both the bar and the kitchen keeps me coming back, not to repeat something, but to see where they’ll go next.

It is quiet at this time of year, but probably mobbed in summer. We sat upstairs and ordered the tuna nachos. The tuna was fresh and fried wontons crispy. Cocktails were fun - I had a coconut one. For dinner we had fish tacos and the burrito. Everything was delicious.“

Ordered the lobster roll (when in Rome, right) and it came loaded with both lobster and a huge side of fries. Wasn’t expecting all of that, left fries even. “Excellent drinks, great food, great service. We had a few of the cocktails, the taquitos, chips & salsa, quesabirria tacos, and a few other tacos. The cocktails are fantastic & unique, but expensive (standard Seaport prices). The food is also really good- so far the best Mexican food I've had in Boston - I know that bar is low but I'm from CA so my standard is high. The red salsa was nothing special, the green salsa is great. The taquitos are delicious and the quesabirria was perfect- when I go back I'm getting 2 quesabirria combos and that's it. Check this place out if you're in the area, and make a res on the weekends- I came here with some friends around 7 on a Saturday and there were no seats available. It's worth it!“

“First of all, the cutest place! The food was excellent, we went on a week night so it wasn't busy and we got a selection of east coast oysters served with a mignonette. Love a place that knows their food, it was cool to be able to have oysters from different locations because a lot of places only have one selection and don't distinguish where they come from. Drinks were fantastic! Had a wonderful espresso martini. Also got the chicken sandwich which was SO good, crispy chicken, great fries, the sauce on it was delicious. I would repeat this place every week if I could!“

I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“
