“Wander in here on island time and have some dumplings and some big ole chicken that’s fried. Portions be big style and tastey.
PBR score 17 out 18 they do not have PBR but no one cares cause good island style restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Tofu“
“Great place! I get lunch here often, sitting at the bar and relaxing. Be wary of Friday and Saturday nights if you like calm, as the karaoke nights are wild. Or look forward to it if that's your jam. Still, Korean Fried chicken is delicious, and they do it really well. Tip for those eating with their hands, they offer those disposable gloves 😉.“

“Had the Jajangmyeon at Somaek and thought the overall flavor was really good. However, the menu states it includes pork and Wagyu beef, but my entire dish only had two extremely small pieces of meat in it, which was pretty disappointing. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly nice and the overall vibe of the place was great. Worth it for the atmosphere and flavor, but they definitely need to be more generous with the proteins.“

“Oh my god, this place is so good. It totally hit the mark when I was craving Korean BBQ. For $40 per person, you can eat as much Korean BBQ as you want. Not only pork, but chicken and beef too, and all the side dishes are excellent. I couldn’t believe how good the kimchi stew and egg soufflé were.
I am pretty sure the place is run by Chinese owners, so you cannot really expect ssamjang, but for this price point it is about as good as an all you can eat Korean BBQ place can get. Even though it is AYCE, the food quality is still very solid and I honestly do not know how they make a profit with how generous the portions are.
Loved it and I am honestly considering signing up for the membership. Will definitely come back again. But beware there will be a long line. We waited about 40 minutes starting around 8 p.m. on a Friday.“

“When I asked to order an extra order of cold noodles, they offered to make it at the end to make sure it was fresh to take home and that level of care is so rare! It was so nice to see this mom and pop owned restaurant and I highly recommend for great Korean food!“

“Everything you could want for breakfast &/or lunch. The fresh salad bar - build your own - is awesome, hard to find these days. The lunch bowls were excellent, with perfect rice, sides of chapchae noodles and stir fry veggies. Delicious egg sandwiches, too. We found the bulgogi/beef teriyaki a bit sweet, but overall delicious and perfectly seasoned. The bowl/plate is also nicely seasoned w/sesame & green onion garnish plus the delicious sides. Other sandwich & panini options look great, too, but we always crave the rice bowls. Also the food is always freshly made. Beware during lunch rush hour. Mid-late afternoon is best. We often take away for dinner. Like all good sauces, the flavors improve! The place has table & counter space to dine in, is bright & cute, coffee is delicious and service is excellent. You will want to return!“

“Justin and his team served at my wedding last month and their cooking and service could not have been better. Our friends and family are still talking about their bibimbap- even my Korean grandmother gave her stamp of approval on the taste and authenticity! Thank you guys again- see you soon!“
