“Tiny place. But they know what they’re doing. Went in one of these freezing days. Thankfully there wasn’t too many people waiting, a lot of DoorDash orders I noticed. Was able to wait/ eat inside at the little counter even with the bulk of my jacket. Probably the most delicious breakfast sandwich I ever had/ will ever have. The bacon was perfect and the sourdough was insane. I was worried about it being too greasy and heavy but it was actually fine. The two guys working were great and friendly. “Food was great I've had Mike and Patty's twice both times food was delicious only constructive criticism I have is with the app it doesn't allow for you to customize as you please for example had the steak and cheese. The first day came out awesome week. Later was trying to try the bomb steak and cheese.
But I don't eat mushrooms, and it didn't allow me to take out the mushrooms only what cheese I wanted, or if I wanted cheese or not.
That's my only complaint.“

“Very friendly atmosphere and accommodating to our youngest who is wheelchair bound. Nice little spot with a mom and pop feel to it. Food was very tasteful and service was wonderful! “Went a few weeks ago Saturday morning and went back again today, 12/28 in the morning. Good food and service. However there are only 4 booths and high stools. I can’t sit on a high stool and I know that someday there won’t be any tables available. Otherwise great place.“

If you can't find something to eat here, you really are trying to not to find something. The service, amazing! Went to Mike and Patty’s in high rise and they had no bacon so we left and found this place. 2 egg, toast, homefries and bacon with coffee for two was $20. Total. “I've often walked past this great place during my daily walks. The blinds were always down, so I thought it wasn't open. However, when my sister visited from Quincy earlier this week, we decided to have breakfast there. Peter’s Sunrise did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. My sister even said the toast was the best she had ever had at a breakfast restaurant. The coffee is good too. The service was welcoming as well. Today will be my 4th time having breakfast there. “I have been going to Maryann's for a while. Its a local breakfast and lunch place. All the food is cooked to order by Bob the Owner. I usually go for Breakfast but Lunch items are available as well. It is usually a 1 person operation except for Saturdays when Georgia usually works as a Server. Coffee is freshly brewed and very tasty. it is cash only but the gas station across the road has an ATM. Give them a try.“

“We came here MULTIPLE times and it’s become our go-to for brunch! A great local mom and pop run diner in Watertown. We had omelets, lattes, breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, etc. and always enjoyed ourselves.
Dining area inside is small but cozy and quaint, perfect for anyone willing to smoosh themselves in during busy hours. Otherwise there’s plenty of outside seating and on a nice day, it’s the best.
We saw the same hard working people every time we went. It’s clear they’re a local spot and well worth investing in.
My favorite part is you see all ages at this diner- newborn babies, high school dates, families, to senior groups chatting over coffee.“

Came with the right amount of everything so if you wanted more or less, it was up to you. Ofc onion, tomato and capers. Suggest with jalapeño cheddar and scallion CC. “We have been there many times for breakfast and the food, wait staff and atmosphere are outstanding. They have the BEST hot chocolate I've ever had! The food is always cooked to my satisfaction, I always have leftovers to bring home and the pancakes are amazingly light and fluffy, as well as very large! I can't say enough good things about them. My husband and I go there at least once every 2 weeks now that we're retired. There is ample parking and it is very easy to get to. I've noticed a lot of regulars now that we go there so often, and that's always a good sign. I highly recommend it. Our son, who is vegetarian, has no problem finding items he can eat and even he's impressed with it. It's the best breakfast place around and we won't go to any others, even Newcomb Farms, which used to be our favorite.“

“I found this place by browsing on the map. It's a surprising finding which turns out to be a good food experience. Don't be fooled by how the restaurant looks from outside- tiny on a busy street. But there are plenty of parking spots next to it, and the breakfast choice and taste are pretty good. Authentic American breakfast, I would say.“

“Let’s talk about the Greatness that is called “The Grill & Eye!” I was home on a visit and as always I try to engage a new restaurant. As my Bestfriend lives in Weymouth, I stumbled across The Grill & Eye on Yelp and we decided to go for breakfast. Before even getting there, the pictures I saw had me ready to eatttttttttttt. The location was super easy to find as it sits directly on the main road. Parking is scarce, however, there is street parking available and we were able to grab a good spot. Yaay! Walking in, the ambiance is super homely and gives the feel of a mom & pops kind of restaurant. It’s small and quaint, however, they have made great use of the space. The waitress at the counter was very inviting and welcomed us with a huge smile and friendly Welcome In. As it is a seat yourself setup, we decided to sit near the back wall. Once seated the waitress was at our table immediately. She presented us with the menus and took our drink order. OhEmGee! Let’s talk about the menu. There is no shortage of options whatsoever! The variation of food options truly make it a hard decision to figure out what you want. I’m all for ordering the entire menu, lol. In all seriousness, the menu is amazing and there is something for everyone regardless of what you have a taste for. I decided to order the platter with 2 Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage Links, and Eggs. As I don’t eat eggs, I was excited that I was able to swap out my eggs for grits. It’s the small things in life that mean the most. LoL! Once our order was placed, the excitement increased and we were ready to eat. Seeing the other orders come out for the tables around us truly increased the anticipation. Ha! Lucky for me, the food didn’t take long at all. Everything was out in a timely manner and every single item on the plate was fresh. Speaking of fresh, all of the meat was quality cuts and the grits were real grits. The food was not only fresh but it was flavorful. The sweet to salt ratio provided by the pancake syrup and meat really made every single bite a mouth pleasing, flavor rewarding experience. The bacon was crispy and meaty. The pancakes were fluffy and a perfect size as they almost covered the entire plate. The sausage was flavorful and not too greasy, and best of all, the grits were not too watery or too stiff. The water to grit ratio was spot on and the natural grit flavor wasn’t overpowered by the butter, yet the butter was present and added to the creamy smooth texture that was accomplished. Overall I am overjoyed by my meal, the service, and the pricing at The Grill & Eye and I will be returning the next time I’m home for a visit.“

“Busy and the workers go through so many customers so quickly! I think the part that I liked the most is how genuinely nice the team members were.

The 1 star deduction is because there were very few seats at the side bar, and I overheard many other customers complain under their breath that they couldn't find a seat.

“When I lived in Dorchester, I could hardly believe how old this is. Build 84 years before this became a country outstanding! There are a lot of historical buildings in Boston, they are a must-see when you visit. Just try to street clear of the Mass ave nonsense.“

This location is fantastic. My dad and I ate here on New Years Day. It was pretty busy for a holiday and considering the weather was bad. I got the original pancakes and I'm not sure what my dad got. Food was fantastic, literally the best pancakes I've ever had. Service was also very good. I'm definitely coming back.

I think some people just love to complain. No complaints from me. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. Food is delicious“

“Small neighborhood greasy spoon diner with generous portions and an excellent breakfast menu. Numerous daily specials including omelets, stuffed French toast and benedicts. I had the William Wallace omelet with fresh apples inside for a sweet savory and my girlfriend had one with avocado, broccoli and spinach. Service was polite and self service coffee was available. Not necessarily a destination for brunch but a nice place if you live in the neighborhood.“
