“I went here about 6 months ago and forgot what I ordered. It was pho and I just remember it being red and spicy. I’ve been craving it for weeks and I finally had time to go in last night.

The host patiently explained to me (several times, because I just wasn’t getting it lol) that any pho can be made spicy! Anyways, he was very patient and helped me. I settled on the spicy beef pho. I’ve never had it to go (last time we dined in), so I was wondering how it would be packaged. It was well packaged. They gave me SO MANY BEAN SPROUTS (which I LOVE) and extra chili oil. I can easily get 3 meals out of this, and it was only $19.21. Thank you so much! I also ordered the chicken wings and thought they weren’t my favorite, they were extremely flavorful.“

These banh mi’s are served on fresh shatteringly crispy bread and they are filled with the protein of your choice plus jalapeño slices, cilantro, mayo and carrot and daikon pickle. I see some reviews complain about no pate but that is usually only in the cold cut banh mi. Staff are helpful and efficient. We got our food made to order in just a few minutes.“

Went to Pho 2000 for a casual meal, left spiritually awakened by the vinegar and butter beef. I don’t know who thought, “Let’s drown beef in butter and vinegar,” but I would trust them with my taxes, and maybe even my heart.

Highly recommend the Vermicelli Bowl, Fresh Spring Roll, Banh Mi, Kumquat Ai Yu Lemon Basil Seed drink, Peach Tea, Ube Flaming Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée drink, Macarons, and Vietnamese Fermented Yogurt!! “Their pho salad cured salmon (5/5) was one of my favorite foods from my Boston/Cambridge trip. It was a unique dish that I'd never seen at any Vietnamese restaurant before and it was so good! While toppings were cold and fresh, the noodle was warm and it was delicious. Strongly recommend it!

Turmeric golden latte was just okay (3/5).

Everything is self serve here - you get in line, pay for your food, find yourself a seat, and go grab your food/utensils/water when they call you.“

“Cannot emphasize enough how great Mae Asian Eatery is! We recently stopped in for dinner and would definitely return. The food was fantastic -- a Chinese-Thai fusion that was really yummy. The service was also outstanding. It was super fast (especially impressive considering how busy it was), everyone was very kind, and we got to speak with the owner afterward who told us about the food (the secret to how yummy it is? His wife is the chef!) and the history behind the name. Just an all-around great experience and cool local business we were happy to visit.“

I called and explained what happened. The manager called me right back and assured me that he would fix it before closing out. He was so kind, even though they were busy.
