“I recently brought some friends to MIDA Newton for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our server, Guillermo, was an absolute gem—friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic as he walked us through the menu, sharing his favorite dishes and highlighting the evening’s specials. We ordered two pizzas, the Caesar salad, arancini, burrata, and for dessert, the chocolate gelato and raspberry sorbet, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The warm, inviting atmosphere of the Newton location was perfect, and we loved the open view of the spotless kitchen, which the staff kept pristine even at the end of a busy night. Everyone we encountered was delightful, and we couldn’t stop raving about the food, service, and overall experience. We can’t wait to return!“

“We visited haley.henry on a Friday night around 5pm. The staff (starting with Hannah, then met Ann Marie, then Meg) was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We sat at the bar and had the loveliest time. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The tinned tuna belly with toasted bread made us so happy and easily enough to come back for. The octopus in garlic and olive oil was insane, however. This is the place I'm coming back to every time I visit Boston. What a special place.“

“Love the vibe here! It’s a perfect place to hang in the mid-late afternoon and have a glass of wine before dinner. The staff is incredibly helpful to help you choose the right wine for you (and always give you a generous pour). I adore all of their flower arrangements on the communal table - unique, artsy, and just gorgeous. I also support the 23% service fee upfront, as 1 - it’s worth it and 2 - I prefer not to deal with bills or payments later on (which would be disruptive to the flow of the hangout).“

“I recently dined at Prima Italian Steakhouse, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and rustic Italian decor set the perfect tone. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like part of the family.

As for the food – wow! The ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, with a nice Italian twist that made it unique. We also tried the handmade pasta and some classic Italian sides, and each dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The wine selection was extensive and featured many excellent Italian options that paired beautifully with the meal.“

Finally I asked people at the Encore and they had no idea when they were open which was very disappointing! That being said I SCORED!! Friday and Saturday they are open and let me tell you they should be open way more often as this place was beyond phenomenal!! The two stand outs that seriously make this place amazing are Rich and Ayoub!! Honestly the presentation on my board was phenomenal and I forgot to take a photo before devouring it! The wine choice was far better than my original choice. I honestly would have eaten here every day I was here if it would have been open!! Whomever makes these decisions really doesn’t understand what a solid gem this place is and its potential! I honestly am so thankful I decided to check on last time to see if they were open! My mom and I both had the lobster bisque and it was outstanding. She had the crab cake as her entree and I had the cedar plank roasted salmon with green beans and roasted potatoes. They were out of this world. I have never fully finished a piece of salmon anywhere like I did there. The food also comes out super hot which was a plus. If you ever go ask for Kya, she was our server and was great! Highly recommend this place to anyone in chestnut hill.“

Pillowy soft. Slightly sweet with a light dusting of salt on top. Butter was creamy and tasty too. 4/5

Potato pave
Like a giant French fry. Crispy outside nice and soft on inside. Topped with cavier and shallots which added a nice saltiness and savory flavor combo.

kampachi crudo-
Topped with basil, radishes, and cherry pepper drops
Good quality fish, slightly acidic flavor went well with the basil and radish. Cherry peppers added a light spice. Overall lacked flavor though 3.5/5

capitelli- topped with a Gremolata and capers, olive oil and eggplant
Very savory and well cooked. This was tasty 4.5/5

Pork loin with celery figs and peppers
Very tender and flavorful. Nice sauce with savoriness and a sweetest added by the figs 5/5

Dessert was a pear sorbet-
So good! Very. Tasted exactly like a pear. No added sugar no additives. so good! 5/5“

“Our go to location for Capital Grille is Chestnut Hill, despite Dedham being closer, as the service and ambiance is superior. From the hostess greeting to our server to the mgr who stopped by...all total professionals who were friendly and knowledgeable.
