“Staying down the street at the Marriott, not much choice of decent food around here. I enjoyed Oriental Gourmet with its simple atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly—their delicious food. Better than any Chinese food I had in Chinatown, down a quiet little road (at least at 6:30pm). Dined in. Plus the Oolong Tea was the best tea I have had in ages at a Chinese restaurant!“

“The Grapefruit Salty Cream over Grape Green Tea ($7.25) was good and refreshing, though I am not sure if they use fruit juice or fresh fruits. The cream on top also just looked like whipped cream when I opened the cap, but it tasted fine.
I feel like I got coaxed into paying with cash because it was empty. I didn’t see any signs indoors or in the reviews about the supposed $10 minimum as there usually are. Thankfully, I had cash on me, but a heads up for anyone ordering inside.“

“Taste, quality, presentation and service are excellent. Love their large menu. I've had their traditional Chinese appetizers. Pickled and hot pot rice noodles are excellent taste and portion. Claypot rice noodles are packed with great flavor.“

“Kenzoku Mazesoba is a great eatery for comforting, brothless ramen (mazesoba). The interior is bright and the staff are accommodating.
The meal started with three warm Kurobuta sausages that were topped with pickled red cabbage and a mustard-based sauce over fresh greens. Overall, a well-rounded appetizer with a nice balance of textures, richness, and acid.
Next, the torched Hamachi roll had fresh fish slices laid on a roll and then torched. The hamachi was then topped with black tobiko and complemented with fresh ginger and wasabi. The roll was light and tasty.
The Yuzu Shio Ramen was the standout and featured braised pork chashu and a delicious poached egg. The medium-bodied noodles were a pleasant to chew with the toppings.
The vegetable mazesoba (vegan) included tofu soboro, mix of corn, quinoa, red pickles, and other goodies. It was a lighter flavor and we appreciated the opportunity to order the truffle oil on the side.
Overall, recommended for a casual and pleasant dinner among family and friends. The food quality and atmosphere make this hidden gem a great choice.“

“What a soup indeed! The broth in the boat noodles is so flavorful and hearty. The spice level of hot is perfect for me who likes a good amount of heat. Prices are very reasonable for the big portion you get with lots of meat and noodles. Haven't eaten in, so I can't rate service and atmosphere, but I will dine in sometime soon.
Only issue is I haven't received tendon in my beef and tendon noodles twice. May be an issue with the ordering method because both times were through Doordash. Is tendon not included for delivery or perhaps a listing mixup? Disappointed because I was looking forward to the beef tendon, but still very tasty.“

“This restaurant was recommended to us. Hand rolled noodles isn’t something you can get in rural Maine. The noodles we delicious. The waitstaff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and lively. They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. Even the tea was good. Bathroom was clean. Food was fresh. And try the thousand layers honey cake. I think everyone will find something to like here. If I am ever in Providence, I will 💯 go again.“

“We ordered the Lanzhou beef noodle soup, crispy mushrooms, fried okra, and chicken skewers. The noodles and beef were good but the broth was slightly bland. The mushrooms were the highlight— highly addictive and well seasoned. The okra was decent, but a little too bready. The chicken was also well seasoned and tasty, though perhaps a little dry.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“Soup dumplings are great but they also have an interesting menu with a great selection of dry noodles, noodle soups and various dumplings. The Chongqing noodles with yellow peas and pork is probably my favorite thing here. Service was fast and friendly. Casual spot for some great food and maybe some new things to try.“

“We have a new office in Boston. So periodically I drive down from our main office to the Boston location and every time I do, I have resolved to try a new restaurant. This was today’s choice and it was SPECTACULAR! My server was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was insanely good. I didn’t know how big my stir-fried rice cake bowl would be so I ordered the sweet and sour pork loin to go with it. But the rice cake bowl was huge and tasted incredible. Lots of heat, lots of fresh prepared veggies and meat. 10/10 would recommend that dish. The pork tenderloin I tried and 10/10 would recommend it as well. The location is a bit small and that is literally the only nit I can pick. If you’re in this area, get some take out or eat in , you won’t regret it!!“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

“My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!“

“I like to go here a few times a month with my girlfriend. First thing we tried was the pork Banh mi (it was amazing), but now our go-to dish is the spicy eggplant with noodles. Can't recommend it enough. The crab Rangoons are also really good. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city.“

“Honeygrow on Boylston Street is a fantastic spot if you love fresh noodles and customizable meals. The highlight here is their egg noodles, which are made fresh and taste incredible. The build your own stir fry option makes it easy to put together exactly what you are craving, and everything feels fresh and vibrant.
On my visit I ordered a stir fry with broccoli, edamame, cilantro, parsley, and mushrooms and it turned out phenomenal. The flavors blended beautifully and the noodles had the perfect texture. It is the kind of meal that feels both satisfying and wholesome at the same time.
The restaurant itself has a casual and welcoming vibe, and it is a great choice whether you are grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner. Having the ability to customize your stir fry with so many options makes it fun and ensures there is something for everyone.
Overall Honeygrow on Boylston Street is definitely worth a visit. The fresh egg noodles are the star, the ingredients are high quality, and the end result is a flavorful dish that you will want to come back for again and again.“

“This restaurant is really awesome. I ordered a tom yum sort of thing that was way too spicy for me. The server was super nice and kept telling me I needed to finish all my food 😅. The food is good but I didn't order the right thing for me, but the service made up for it.“

“I had the Sukiyaki Udon here and it was absolutely magnificent! The udon's broth was rich and flavorful, and all the ingredients were distinct, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The portion size and price point were both very reasonable, as it’s not “cheap,” but the quality thoroughly justifies the cost.
More than just food, what stood out most to me was the level of hospitality. The servers in this place were passionate and attentive, frequently checking in to make sure everything was going well and even refilling my water without me having to ask. It made this whole dining experience feel warm and welcoming.
If I could suggest one thing, I’d love to see a bit more East Asian ambiance, by maybe having some popular background music to match the amazing udons.
Overall, a wonderful experience! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Futago Udon if you’re looking for a cozy, comfortable, and tasty Japanese dining place in Boston!“

“Very very delicious and comforting. Real deal. Considered dropping a star for slow service but in retrospect I think Head of the Charles this weekend just made everything a little more slow.
Lanzhou beef noodle soup was SO yummy words can’t even describe how the broth made me feel tbh. Lamb skewers were fatty and juicy and bursting with flavor. Mala tofu with preserved egg and rice was a great contrast to the other dishes — light and refreshing (also I love preserved egg with my whole heart). And the osmanthus flavor iced jelly? Slurp.
Picture included of plates made CLEAN.“

“Food was delicious, around 15 min of a wait upon arrival. Had a little bit of a mishap when trying to order, you have to press a button for the waiter to come, which is troubling when the technology doesn’t work. When the food came, it was decent, although it was a little overpriced. We got the yingyang bowls but I would recommend getting the pork tonkatsu ramen instead. Overall, good ??“

“Good, but not amazing. I’ve tried the miso, spicy miso, and shio ramen, and takoyaki—slightly underwhelming/ overrated. Broth could be richer with flavor, and the pork belly is just fine, you only get two small slices with a regular size ramen. The takoyaki had too much sauce on top. The green tea is too expensive ($6.50) and I couldn’t finish all of it by myself“

“We got empress chicken, lo mein, a claypot rice, and side of veggies. All delicious. Chicken was a little salty and did not come with white rice, which would have helped cut out the saltiness, but we had claypot rice to go with it instead. Owners gave us complimentary dessert (mung bean soup). Good place for a group dinner! Would come back for the chicken.“

“If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a Red Sox game a little over a month ago and we still talk about this place! “Jibei Chuan is the BEST rice noodle restaurant I've tried in Boston! Their flavors are authentic, the soup & broths are extremely flavorful, the rice noodles are plentiful per order for an equal ratio of rice noodle : toppings/broth, the toppings are diverse, the deserts are rich and authentic, and the prices are FAIR. Other rice noodle places charge around $15-$20 per bowl with minimal noodles, but Jibei Chuan gives you plenty of bulk for your buck (around $10-$15)!
The rice noodles in tomato soup and the rice noodles in MaLa soup are must-tries and the Hong Kong French Toast is a NECESSITY if you come!
The atmosphere is spacious and the staff are very friendly. The service is quick (around 5-10 minutes). 10/10!“

“Really good food and the waitresses are super cool and nice! The chef the waitress take a picture of how he does the spicy cucumbers (so good)!
