“After living in Rockland for almost 10 years about a month ago I finally went into Dina’s. I ordered a steak and cheese at the counter and was told give me five minutes it’ll be ready! Now I thought to myself five minutes really so then I said, all time you do you think you can do it in five minutes, and the young lady behind the counter smiled, looked at me and said I own the place. I’ll have it in five minutes. Four minutes later, I had this perfectly cooked perfectly engineered steak and cheese. Now I’m a sucker for a slice of pizza as well so I grabbed one ehhh it’s just slice. Anything is better than Ellio’s. I grabbed my dinner and I left. I have my slice on the way home and it was amazing across between Greek style pizza and South Shore bar pie. Absolutely outstanding steak and cheese with top notch and since then I’ve been several times on my way home from work for some reason the slices get better and better each time but on a whim I tried the turkey gobbler one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time!“

“If I could give an extra star for service I would! When making the reservation, the restauant was told that someone with celiac would be dining. The first time the waitress approached the table, she asked who is celiac and talked me through their menu and protocols. I felt completely comfortable eating here as they were very knowledgeable and take precautions seriously. There is also a dedicated GF fryer, yay! I had the thai coconut cod and it was wonderful! Wish I lived closer, I would definitely go back.“

“I’m a picky one when it comes to eating fish. This little shop right under the Fore River Bridge is the absolute best spot if you want fish so fresh it is obvious that it is the day’s catch! The batter is perfectly light, doesn’t separate from the fish and the result is simply the best fried fish I’ve EVER TASTED! Do yourself a favor and check them out!“

“Delicious menu items.. the pear salad is delicious and a fabulous starter to share. I had the swordfish over the lobster succotash and it was fantastic.. the succotash alone would be a delight! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back. We ended with the flourless chocolate cake and it was perfect“

“Came in on a whim while looking for a place to eat a birthday brunch for my Grandmother, we all took the fish and chips plate which was perfection, and the staff were awesome throughout our entire meal, especially our waitress. They even suprised my grandmother with a cheesecake dessert after we had finished out meals which was pleasent. Highly reccomend this place for a seafood lunch or a relaxing drink near the water!“

“We visited for the first time last night and I think it’s our new favorite! My kids LOVED the food-especially my 2yr old, he got the kids fish and chips! “We held our wedding reception upstairs at The Parrot and it was amazing. Working with Hailey made everything go so smoothly. She was attentive and clear with communication during the whole process. Everyone RAVED about the food. We had passed apps and the Lamb Lollipop was definitely the crowd favorite. We had a few severe allergies in our guest list and the staff was more than accommodating to keep our guests safe. The Parrot was the perfect spot for us, delicious food, amazing views and a top notch staff. 🌟“

“Staff was super friendly & hospitable. I’ve been getting food from here since I was a kid but I’ve been coming a bit more as an adult. My kids & I came here for lunch after my oldest’s dance class & our food was served in a beautiful display, they were super helpful & really put in the effort to make us feel welcome. Also the chicken fingers are super yummy.“

“This is the only place we go to for dim sum every Sunday. The restaurant had renovations done so it's nicer now (no more pink walls). If you like stir fry clams, order it from the kitchen instead off the dim sum menu. There's a small parking lot in the back or you can park a block down in the main public parking lot.“

“It might sound strange to some, but I want to thank SGD for having some of the best rice in the area. A lot of restaurants go for cheaper rice options to save on costs. SGD using better quality rice really does elevate the meal, and helps it stand out among other Asian dining options. Thank you for this attention to detail!

SGD is also my favorite Korean restaurant in the Quincy area. The clam 순두부찌개 (soondubu jjigae) is my go-to!“

“Guys, the sushi here is goated AND it's $6 for 8 pieces. Like, their avocados are so buttery smooth OMG 🤤🤤🤤. The workers are super sweet, and my friends and I got our orders really quick. Also, they don't play dookie remixes. The remixes are actually good.“

“I ordered the catfish basket to go and it was delicious! I called about 45 mins after they opened, they were very nice, told me about 15 mins and it was just under 10. My intention was to order the Haddock, but when they said they could offer Catfish, I went with that. It was de-boned, not over cooked, but still had a nice crisp. So good! “We were a party of nine and four weeks ago I reserved the private room overlooking the marina. I confirmed it with the restaurant via telephone, but when we arrived, it had been given to another party for a bridal event. I was disappointed, but the manager gave us a beautiful table outside and gave us some compensation towards the cocktails. We had a wonderful evening. The music was terrific and the new area outside is stunning. We are very grateful for the way this restaurant handled and unfortunate mixup. We live locally and go there frequently and think it's one of the best values, outstanding service and food and views. Looking forward to their expansion for outdoor seating next summer. Highly recommend one of our top choices on the South Shore.“

“Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Lemonade/tea was not too sweet (perfect), tartar sauce yummy, fish hearty, and on top of it the chips were a trimix of tatter tots, waffle fries, and standard fries.

Really didn't expect it to be so good because the location is also perfect, but it was so good.“
