“We are doing a world cruise on the Coral Princess and went to Yankee Lobster for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, heaps of lobster in the roll and fries too. My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. I forgot to show our waiter the photo I took of him, so I hope he sees it here.. Thank you 10/10 gor food and service.“

The tables behind the bar , to the left as you enter the restaurant are up against marble, the floor is wood and there is a slight draft from the front door. The overall impression is that the tables there were an afterthought. Everything is black and white and it lacks any warmth or ambience. I would go back again and try the other section if there are two tops over there - it looked more convivial and a bit cozier. The area we were in felt like a nice place to have a coffee, but not really up to snuff for a nice dinner out .“

“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

We ordered the clams & linguine, classic fish and chips, clam chowder, and steak frites—each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The seafood tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the steak was cooked just right. Service was attentive and professional without feeling rushed, adding to the overall great experience. “First of all, the cutest place! The food was excellent, we went on a week night so it wasn't busy and we got a selection of east coast oysters served with a mignonette. Love a place that knows their food, it was cool to be able to have oysters from different locations because a lot of places only have one selection and don't distinguish where they come from. Drinks were fantastic! Had a wonderful espresso martini. Also got the chicken sandwich which was SO good, crispy chicken, great fries, the sauce on it was delicious. I would repeat this place every week if I could!“

“Perched with killer views, this spot dishes out some seriously tasty grub. The clam chowder was a creamy dream, and the fish and chips? Crispy perfection. Portions are massive—come hungry! The kids’ menu is a beast, packed with options for picky eaters.
But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Dropped my rating from 5 to 4 stars because they tried to sneak in charges for kids’ menu sides that are supposed to be included. They claimed they’d fix it, but one charge still slipped through. Also, my beer arrived with some mystery substance smeared on the rim of the glass—yuck. They swapped it out quick, but still. Solid spot, just check your bill and your glass!“

“I went there for a late lunch today. The stuffed clam dinner came with a large portion of fries, a tasting of coleslaw, cocktail sauce and a roll. To be honest, 1 stuffed clam and a few fries was MORE than filling! I took the rest home for dinner - it was delicious! It was relatively quiet when I was there, and it was hard to find waitstaff when I needed something she forgot (they were all congregated by the “seat yourself / cash only” sign). I would definitely go again and get the side order of stuffed clams next time.“

“The cajun fries (medium spicy) were amazing. Shrimp and lobster were fresh and tasty too. Do note that they don’t come with any sides so you gotta order your corn on the cob and potatoes as extras (which were also tasty after being marinated in the Cajun sauce).

The staffs were all nice and attentive. It would be better if the soda wasn’t flat. Would also be better if a bucket could be offered at the table for the shells, so that the sauce doesn’t float everywhere.“

“We were at JP Licks a few weeks ago and saw Bluefin across the street. It was new to us, and I checked out the menu on the website. My husband has A Thing for salmon BLT and frankly I do too, so when we saw that and salmon burgers listed we knew we'd want to check it out.

Yesterday we had our chance to go in for a late lunch/early dinner around 3 pm. We were the only people dining in, but other folks stopped on to get fresh oysters (and mussels?) to go. The atmosphere is pleasant; it's a small space, but they've made it feel airy and open.

The person at the counter was friendly and the service was great. I didn't order a drink with my sandwich and when I went back to him to buy a can of soda or something, he asked if we'd like glasses of ice water. (Not providing it by default makes sense to me, since some people don't want it and it's just wasteful then!)

I got the salmon BLT and my husband decided to try the burger. They came with a simple side salad of greens with a mild dressing, maybe just oil and salt? The sandwiches were delicious. The BLT was probably the better of the two but that's only because smoked salmon is so good. Whatever sort of bread they use on the BLT makes exceptional toast too.

The prices were comparable to similar fare in the area and the portions were good.

I didn't get any photos of the space or our food this time, but we plan to go back and will try to remember. I've seen a number of little places come and go in that location, but I hope Bluefin will be there to stay.“

“Just had an okay meal here. Vibes and atmosphere were nice, but the food did not live up and we were disappointed with how long the end of the meal took. They were clearly short staffed, as we saw our server running around trying to help all of her tables and so we do not blame her—she was great! It just shouldn’t take 30 minutes to order dessert after receiving the menu. The meatballs and ham & cheese sandwich were my favorite, but still a 4/5.“
