“We stumbled on the amazing restaurant and stopped in twice while on vacation in South Boston! The food was unbelievable and the service was fantastic! 👏🏼 This is going to be our go to spot every time we make our annual trip to Boston. “Veggie Galaxy is one of my all-time faves and a must-visit when I’m in the Boston/Cambridge area. Tasty vegetarian (everything can be made vegan) comfort food at a decent price with generous serving sizes. Breakfast all day is a huge draw. Most of the sweet items (French toast, pancakes, waffles, etc.) and all of the desserts are vegan as is. The savory items (sandwiches, platters, egg dishes, etc.) can all be made vegan. VG uses Yo Egg for when the dish calls for sunny-side-up or runny yolk and Just Egg or tofu for others. So much on the menu… but if you still don’t find what you are looking for, they welcome modifications. Besides the breakfast-y fare, there are killer sandwiches, burgers, entrees, and apps. Awesome vegan mozzarella sticks and mac and cheese! Fries and nachos that’ll put you into a food coma! The list just goes on and on. Thinking about beverages? Bottomless coffee (organic), vegan shakes and floats, cocktails and mocktails. Finally, if you are into diner vibes (high tops, booths, etc.) VG is also a great place to hang out. Servers are super chill, friendly, and flexible. I’ve spent entire afternoons there, drinking coffee refills, slowly making my way through the generous portions of my meal, and catching up on emails while I pass the time before Ubering to the airport. Have gotten nothing but love and recommendations for (delicious) pie from the staff. I’ll definitely be back!“

“We took a friend out to dinner at Oleana last night for her birthday and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! “THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.“

“Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.
Other than that, great service and good food.“

“We ate at Shi Daxia hotpot after our first Red Sox game. It was an amazing end to an amazing day. My son got a baseball at his first Red Sox game. The mascots came up and took photos with us. Then to top it all off, we went to the restaurant at 10pm and they said we could have dinner there quickly. They were so polite about it. The meat at the hotpot was fresh and delicious.
Would I eat there again ? Absolutely !!!“

“The wait staff is incredibly friendly. We heard the onion rings were heavenly. We were not disappointed. However the salad we ordered and shared was one of the best salads I have ever tasted. I think it was the Hot Cold Chicken Salad. Absolutely delicious! After 10 pm the sandwiches are half price and they all looked delicious too!!“

“Our first time here and can’t recommend this place enough! Everyone is extremely welcoming! I’m assuming it was the owner that brought the kids an appetizer on the house with a big smile and high fives! HOW COOL! The flavor was amazing! Service was great thank you guys!!!!!!“
