Excellent service from a very friendly and accommodating staff. And the most important part, the food, delicious! I took advantage of the lobster fest promotions. Lobster roll was delicious. I could not eat it all. Highly recommend.“

“Loved the scallop roll and fries with GH seasoning. Cross between a barn mi and lobster roll. The bread was perfection warm , soft, buttery on the inside. Right amount of crust on the outside. “I had a birthday celebration at this restaurant. We sat near the cozy fireplace on a chilly night. The cheeseboard (varied cheeses, focaccia bread, honey, blackberries, nuts, jam, greens) and Pt. Judith calamari were beautifully presented. Excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Tuscany, Italy added to food, Staff was very accomodating. I enjoyed mussels, scallops, little necks over pasta in scampi sauce. Others had the salmon as well as the bolognese. It's a very roomy, quiet setting near the water. Staff came out to sing happy birthday with a luscious ice cream dessert with a candle on top. I was pleasantly surprised. We will return to this place for sure!“

“What a find! I found this a bit off the beaten path. But SOOO worth it! The 'Everything' sauce 9n the Fish and Chips was amazing! Almost seemed like they were using the pickled banana peppers as the base. Tie that with cilantro and a few other items and you have a real winner here.The sauce on the Shrimp had a similar flare to it, but tomato based (or just mixed in).So think about this a minute. You have a sauce with some pickle flavor. You add salt to your liking (I added a lot) and you have a very interesting flavor for the fries! Genius!The Chicken Dinner was an outside the box way for me to go surf and turf. The seasoning had explosive flavor. Just wonderful!I can't wait to go back for the Salmon!“

“So it was Fathers Day and of course my fiancé wanted to go golfing and he chose Harbor Lights golf course. We’re from Connecticut but on the border of Rhode Island but still don’t go there as much. After he was done he said he would love if we went to dinner for Father’s Day with our daughter and my mom. I searched for places in the area of the golf course, was looking for something sort of near the water and that’s when I found Iggy’s ! Had great reviews so I called and booked a reservation! We were running a little late but called to let them know and said that it was fine. When we arrived, the place was PACKED! Which is definitely a great sign. Every staff member we encountered were so nice and helpful! Our server Zach was amazing and so accommodating! He was knowledgeable and was just so friendly! My mom is a super critic ( she always has something to say about something which sometimes gets embarrassing ) haha but she could not say enough how good the food was and service and atmosphere! She absolutely loved it and we had the best time! My 13 month old had her first milkshake and LOVED it! Hahah Thank you for the great experience! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Rhode Island! :)“

“We went for an early dinner before a show around the corner. Unfortunately, there a was a glitch with the OpenTable reservation showing it cancelled. Obviously, it was not as we were there. The host & manager did not give us any issue and sat us immediately even putting us with one of the best servers ever, Johnny, at our request. We sat near the front where there is great lighting from the windows and enjoyed a delicious meal. From drinks to dessert everything was phenomenal especially the service. Johnny did a great job pacing out the meal so we would finish with time to walk to the show. We tried different sushis and apps. All while they were cognizant of our shrimp allergy. From the set up, the food, and all the touches in between, MakMak made it so seamless and the most enjoyable experience ever! I could go on for hours and rave about their food and the delicious menu they provided, everything was so fresh, beautifully displayed and enjoyed. They also put out a beautiful aperol spritz and dessert station and made everything look and taste like perfection. They even put on music that felt like we were back in 2015 and brought out all the nostalgic feels! I couldn’t say enough good things! You must book any private event here and of course visit them during their restaurant hours for amazing dinner/lunch/brucnh which I could go on and on about! “I absolutely love the food! I always get the large carne asada. Its carne asada, white vegetable rice, salad with piccolo de gallo, carrot and macaroni salad, fried platano and beans. It’s authentic Guatemalan food and I love it.The inside looks a bit janky, but they just opened up. I remember the building itself was a party store than it became a Panda Express and now it’s Xoyita. I usually get take out and eat comfortably at home.“

However they really outdid themselves with, what I would call, the new “it” dinner option- the birrio burger. Every bite has flavor & every bite melts in your mouth. I hope this becomes a weekly special due to its uniqueness. My “pear-suasion” drink complimented it perfectly. As always the staff there is top notch. “So, my son ordered the chowder...I had a bite, it was amazing. Service was top notch. However, my filet was literally white when I cut into it. Unacceptable. The wait staff took it away, they promised it would be right on second attempt and it was. The manager came by and took it off my bill as well as my glass of wine. Acceptable. My wife had a small issue with her meal (no need for details), the managers took care of it no problem, which they don't have to do, so I want to take this opportunity to thank them. Our waiter Derek was awesome! Just want to acknowledge everyone there, the wait staff etc. are very friendly, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. “This was our first time dining at Capital Grille and it won't be our last! It was our anniversary and they had a large booth decorated with hearts and a Happy Anniversary sign! I love little touches like that. Our server Jorge was such a delight. His service felt like it was customized to us only even though we could clearly see he had other guests . From interesting little facts to sharing personal stories, we loved our server for making the night wonderful!! From our champagne toast, to our anniversary cake dessert. Everything was wonderful. The way everyone works as a team to make the experience amazing! Our food was sooo good!! Hats off to the chef's!! We started with fresh oysters and this amazing thick cut bacon( sauce on side). The bacon was so good, we brought some home. I had surf and turf, the hubby had the NY strip . Both steaks cooked to perfection ( seen with a light to make sure) . I was only able to eat my lobster tail because I was full, but wow, giant, cooked perfect and tasted so good, you did not need the butter! My husband loved his NY strip as well. We are big steak people ! We will be back , we usually go to another steakhouse in the area for our anniversary, but I think we have a new place!!! Thank You for a wonderful night Capital Grille !!“
