There are no lackluster options on the menu. If not for a capacity to feel indulged, one would feel the cupidity in ordering every artisan prepared creation. “My husband and I go to Nantucket every year, and this was our first time at Greydon House; it was my favorite stay thus far on the island. Charming rooms, fantastic location and a chic restaurant on site. Tom, the manager (sorry if I messed the name up), could not have been nicer or more obliging, and was extremely knowledgeable about the island. Front desk team was very helpful as well. This will be my go to stay on Nantucket!”

“We love the food and the vibe at Slip 14! It’s so nice to have an excellent but casual restaurant on the water. Teddy makes the BEST Bloody Mary’s we have ever had! The energy is so great with Teddy’s personal playlist on Spotify, football or golf on the TV. Between Teddy, Brennan and Timmy they are a fun tag team welcoming everyone that walks in. Between the 3 of them at lunch on Sunday Funday you can’t miss having a great time. We loved the scallop roll which is so unique, smash burger and the fish tacos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Group of 6. Main dining room, very nice vibe. Food was outstanding - best in Nantucket. Service was solid. Only mild disappointment was the unexpectedly large bill at the end. They include an auto 22% gratuity on groups of 6 or more. Thats fine and we’d have gotten there anyway but would have preferred to be told that, either by the waitress or on the menu. The charge slip includes the all inclusive bill plus an additional line for more tip, which i find bad form. Its a great restaurant- just be up front.”

“Visited Nantucket Friday. Checked menu at several places before selecting Walter's Deli. Had the corn beef/pastrami Reuben. My favorite sandwich and I am a seafood guy. Fantastic and delicious!!! Generous portions and priced right. My wife had the roast beef sandwich. It was a hit as well. Person that made the sandwiches was a nice guy to boot.

Sat on a bench in front of a realtor's office. Realtor asked me where I bought the Reuben because it looked so good.”

“This is a great spot to grab a quick but tasty bite when in Nantucket. I had their Buck Island Salad with grilled salmon - yum! Kids and hubby had the quesadillas and they were quite tasty! Spot has indoor and outdoor tables, so depending on weather, there are options. It’s also close to the ferry stop, so it’s a great spot to eat at before jumping back on.”

Then you pay and you're on your way bing, bang boom- i don't know what would happen if I would have ordered like a cheeseburger or something. I may have to circle back sometime-no Montucky Cold Snacks- and I don't think there were any drinks- except like, yeah, water, iced tea, cokes-

“Best Irish pub certainly in Nantucket. More accurately the Cape. Food is exceptional, service is warm and goes the extra mile and the Guinness is without a doubt the best on island. The atmosphere is local strong but welcome to all. This is Nantucket.”

“I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!”

“I spent a couple weeks on the island working and I have to say the vegan options were absolutely abysmal overall. HOWEVER, Scooters is one of the only exceptions! It is definitely still Nantucket priced so it isn't cheap but it is legitimately tasty and the portions are huge. Like the other review says, it is a chipotle style place where you choose a base, a protein, and some veggies and dressing. If you go on their website and try to place an order you can see allergy info of every ingredient more easily to get an idea of what you might want but I would still ask if you are unsure. I really enjoyed the tofu (maybe it's because I was facing some pretty severe tofu withdrawal while on the island 😂). I remember there being two sauce choices that were vegan at the time: a lemon vinaigrette and the teriyaki sauce. The lemon one paired better with the herb tofu seasoning in my opinion but both were nice. A friend of mine really enjoyed the smoothies they had as well.”
