“The Boat House is the perfect casual dining restaurant on Nantucket. Salads, bowls, burritos, burgers — and an island flair. The people who run the Boat House are loving, kind and generous. Can’t recommend it enough for families and anyone who wants great food. We eat here every time we come to the island and are always happy.”

The food it self was delicious but the presentation was beautiful.
The ambience was relaxing and the service was impeccable.
The bill was reasonable and unlike other restaurants on island it was not price fix or tip added to the bill.
We enjoyed our eating experience at Languedoc.

“Looking for breakfast places on the island can be a challenge. Noticing there's more accommodation outside than there is inside this particular day was raining so the inside was very busy. Very good customer service waited a little bit for fast food noticing the kitchen had an open window so you can see all the activity that was interesting. So I ordered the signature 45th sandwich on sourdough bread eggless cook perfect medium not to runny not too hard bacon was a little overdone cheese could have been a little more they included napkins on the takeaway bag order the hazelnut latte didn't really taste much hazelnut. I guess I'm a snob when it comes to lattes.”

“A very good place to eat on Nantucket. Nice views if you get one of the harbor-facing tables. The menu is alright but nothing spectacular. Kids are tolerated but not especially welcome. Time limits for your table (if you are dining early) are enforced.

Kid-friendliness: Not great”

“Unreal. To have 5star sushi and dumplings followed by bolognese from the Sicilian coast, that rocked. Dairy free bang bang shrimp are gas. Clam chowder amazing.

Dietary restrictions: Plenty and very well marked gluten free, fair free, and nut free options.

Kid-friendliness: We had a one year old in a high chair and they couldn’t have been nicer.”

“Went with a party of 7, everyone said their meals were excellent. Lobster risotto was the best I’ve had and the halibut was excellent. Service was friendly and on time. Also the hummus was great and you must try the crab dip ! Wedge salad was delicious, fresh and crispy mini iceberg heads that I’ve never had before.”

The olive oil from the 3 anchovy fillets didn’t even have the color (I live in Nice!)

“Is it the best Ice cream ever? It’s really good, up there with some of the best but mostly it’s the best on the island, hence the very long lines. But they move it along quickly. Try the Crantucket.”

“Just outside of the main area of town you will find the nice and unassuming restaurant. As the name implies it has plenty of delicious seafood plates and many other things to choose from. I went with the fried shrimp which was perfect. Nice and hot on arrival with an excellent crispy batter. The beer was nice and cold on a very hot day when we were there. Staff was friendly and service was on point. If your out for some Nantucket seafood and a cool drink. This spot won't disappoint.”
