There are no lackluster options on the menu. If not for a capacity to feel indulged, one would feel the cupidity in ordering every artisan prepared creation. “It was quick- i ordered 2 burritos. They make them how you want them. Then you pay and you're on your way bing, bang boom- i don't know what would happen if I would have ordered like a cheeseburger or something. I may have to circle back sometime-no Montucky Cold Snacks- and I don't think there were any drinks- except like, yeah, water, iced tea, cokes-
None of the fun stuff, but the staff was great. Very helpful. Fantastic burritos way to be Boat House!”

“We love the food and the vibe at Slip 14! It’s so nice to have an excellent but casual restaurant on the water. Teddy makes the BEST Bloody Mary’s we have ever had! The energy is so great with Teddy’s personal playlist on Spotify, football or golf on the TV. Between Teddy, Brennan and Timmy they are a fun tag team welcoming everyone that walks in. Between the 3 of them at lunch on Sunday Funday you can’t miss having a great time. We loved the scallop roll which is so unique, smash burger and the fish tacos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Group of 6. Main dining room, very nice vibe. Food was outstanding - best in Nantucket. Service was solid. Only mild disappointment was the unexpectedly large bill at the end. They include an auto 22% gratuity on groups of 6 or more. Thats fine and we’d have gotten there anyway but would have preferred to be told that, either by the waitress or on the menu. The charge slip includes the all inclusive bill plus an additional line for more tip, which i find bad form. Its a great restaurant- just be up front.”

“Visited Nantucket Friday. Checked menu at several places before selecting Walter's Deli. Had the corn beef/pastrami Reuben. My favorite sandwich and I am a seafood guy. Fantastic and delicious!!! Generous portions and priced right. My wife had the roast beef sandwich. It was a hit as well. Person that made the sandwiches was a nice guy to boot.

Sat on a bench in front of a realtor's office. Realtor asked me where I bought the Reuben because it looked so good.”

“As someone who takes pride in choosing thoughtful, high-quality accommodations when traveling, I can confidently say that Greydon House in Nantucket exceeded expectations. Located right in the heart of downtown, it was the perfect choice for a weekend stay. I specifically wanted to be close to the Steamship Authority ferry, great restaurants, and downtown shopping—and this location delivered on all fronts.

From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and a personable, attentive manager who set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The location couldn’t be more convenient: a three-minute walk to one of the best lobster rolls you’ll ever have at Walter’s, a charming coffee and pastry shop directly across the street, and the Whaling Museum just steps away.

Given the unbeatable location, we weren’t expecting much from the room itself—but we were genuinely impressed. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with high-end toiletries, beautiful shower tile, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Harney & Sons tea and quality coffee were available all day, which was a much-appreciated touch.

One of the highlights of our stay was Via Mare, the on-site restaurant. Although we enjoyed every meal during our visit to Nantucket, this restaurant stood out. The oysters were among the best I’ve ever had, and the cocktails were both creative and delicious.

Despite the cool weather, we found ourselves drawn again and again to the charming side porch. Whether we were reading, chatting, watching the Memorial Day parade, or enjoying takeout meals, it became a favorite spot throughout our stay.

Greydon House offers a rare combination of location, charm, and service—and we’ll absolutely be returning.”

“This is an incredible affordable option when visiting Nantucket. We wanted to grab dinner but also didn’t want to fold our crisp $100 bills over the table, so we found Scooter’s, a place for the less fortunate (just kidding). Food here was excellent, amazing portions. We got the herb chicken with rice and veggies and we ate it for dinner AND breakfast. Everything tasted great and was great value for your money, even outside Nantucket standards. A must-go place for day trippers for sure as it’s also conveniently located right near the ferry station.”
