“Very tasty food, great service. No reservations, first come first serve. Prices are not super inexpensive but it is worth the cost. We were only grabbing a snack as we had some commitment afterward. Only pitty is that it is difficult to share bites if you are like me and want to try it all. I guess we will have to come back! 😜

“We were at JP Licks a few weeks ago and saw Bluefin across the street. It was new to us, and I checked out the menu on the website. My husband has A Thing for salmon BLT and frankly I do too, so when we saw that and salmon burgers listed we knew we'd want to check it out.

Yesterday we had our chance to go in for a late lunch/early dinner around 3 pm. We were the only people dining in, but other folks stopped on to get fresh oysters (and mussels?) to go. The atmosphere is pleasant; it's a small space, but they've made it feel airy and open.

The person at the counter was friendly and the service was great. I didn't order a drink with my sandwich and when I went back to him to buy a can of soda or something, he asked if we'd like glasses of ice water. (Not providing it by default makes sense to me, since some people don't want it and it's just wasteful then!)

I got the salmon BLT and my husband decided to try the burger. They came with a simple side salad of greens with a mild dressing, maybe just oil and salt? The sandwiches were delicious. The BLT was probably the better of the two but that's only because smoked salmon is so good. Whatever sort of bread they use on the BLT makes exceptional toast too.

The prices were comparable to similar fare in the area and the portions were good.

I didn't get any photos of the space or our food this time, but we plan to go back and will try to remember. I've seen a number of little places come and go in that location, but I hope Bluefin will be there to stay.“

“Came here on a whim, trying to experience something different as I like to travel and just try different restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings, the lychee martini was sublime and very tasty, the pear necessities was very interesting on the tongue. It had great flavor and just kept you intrigued with every sip. I tried the potato croquettes and loved the chipotle style sauce that came with them. Wagyu dumplings were divine, everything just melded so well together and left you wanting another bite. I finished my meal with the steak frites which was cooked well but I wish the steak had a bigger portion (it’s def a me thing) the sauce was well prepared and I was very satisfied with how it all went together.“

I needed to organize a nice dinner for 15 people for my son's birthday. The whole process was absolutely flawless - from initial contact with Igor who took care of all the planning and setup. When we arrived to the restaurant everything was ready and we were treated with utmost attention. The dinner was served family style and we had a chance to pick our menu selections to be shared. The portions were very generous, beautifully decorated and served, service was impeccable. The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone was beyond satisfied and happy. “As always Capital Grille delivers an outstanding experience. We had someone in our party with sever dairy allergy and it was taken very seriously by the waiter and chef. They made dairy free truffle fries that were just as good as regular truffle fries with dairy. Steaks were all cooked perfectly and the wait staff was outstanding!“

A few areas for improvement: clearer dress-code enforcement, double-checking wine orders at the table, and consistency on the Chips & Caviar item (both quality and price vs. menu). “A five star restaurant for Sichuan food - one of the best in Boston! Foods are delicious and fresh. Recommend dessert menus as well. Atmosphere is cute and young. Serving is friendly. Restroom is clean and roomy. On the way, kitchen is open for one to have a peek and looks neat. The location could be tricky to find if you drive as its located on the narrow Commonweath ave branched off the main ave. So make sure you drive into the branch ave between the subway railroad and buildings.“

“Our waiter William was terrific, but the kitchen was ridiculously slow. We waited a very long time before for bread and we waited almost thirty minutes for our appetizers. Drinks were also slow. Dinner was very slow too, and my daughter did not get her dinner until we were almost finished with our entrees. You have a large capacity venue and apparently do not have adequate wait staff and kitchen staff.“

“Star Fish ? has been around for a long time but this is the first time I’ve had them. I had a small fish sandwich ? though the condiments are light like only ketchup, Mayo, Tartar sauce or Hot sauce so no lettuce, tomato etc. which I think would have made my sandwich even better. But it still was very good overall??.“
