The space is bright but lacks an atmosphere that matches the excitement of the cuisine. Additionally, they don’t have a liquor license, so no sake pairings, which feels like a missed opportunity. Overall, the food is a solid 10, while the rest is a 7 or 8—not because anything is wrong, but simply because it doesn’t quite align with the quality of the dishes. Definitely worth the trip for the food alone!“

I needed to organize a nice dinner for 15 people for my son's birthday. The whole process was absolutely flawless - from initial contact with Igor who took care of all the planning and setup. When we arrived to the restaurant everything was ready and we were treated with utmost attention. The dinner was served family style and we had a chance to pick our menu selections to be shared. The portions were very generous, beautifully decorated and served, service was impeccable. The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone was beyond satisfied and happy. “We were at Patriot Place, and it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner, so check out area restaurants. We settled with Horse N Carriage, something new and different. I got the London broil special ( they have a 2 pm to 415 time frame for certain meals 19.99 they come with soup entrée and dessert) my got cheese burger with a split fries and Onion rings. We each had drink and bill was 60$ plus 4$ tax. We enjoyed our meals.

“We love ❤️ this place. The staff is wonderful and attentive. We eat here for “breakfast” every Gameday at Patriot Place. Sunday my wife and I had Cape Cod Maki and a Snow Mountain with Clams Casino as an appetizer and then a broiled seafood over spinach combo for me and steak tips for her and we were thoroughly satisfied until we got home at 6pm. We highly recommend this place.“

“My second review went less than a week. Got takeout tonight. The food is fabulous. Staff is wonderful. There was a mess up with the toast app. They quickly fixed it. I got to sit at the bar and talk to the bartender. Really nice guy. The food is so flavorful. Usually my wife says I can cook better than the food we eat at most restaurants. (I love to cook. Both grandfathers were chefs in Boston) She can’t say that about this one. The chefs there do a great job. Love to get some of the recipes though.“

“Casual Szechuan noodle bar that offers comforting flavors.

Szechuan cuisine has always been popular, but the competition in Allston has really been heating up lately. While MH holds the popularity crown by a wide margin, spots like Little Tao often get overshadowed. I've dropped by Little Tao a few times for lunch, and for a place that proudly advertises zero MSG, the flavors were bold.

Little Tao’s signature dishes are undoubtedly their Szechuan noodles, like the Chengdu noodles and Twice Cooked Pork noodles. Each bowl comes bathed in rich chili oil, with savory meat toppings adding that salty/umami punch. Despite the generous pour of chili oil, the spice level is actually pretty manageable. My only gripe? The noodles weren’t fully drained, which thinned out the flavors a bit.

From their regular Szechuan menu, I’ve tried the Mapo Tofu, Pickled Fish Fillet, and Braised Beer Duck. The first two were solid—not the best I’ve had around here, but still good. The Braised Beer Duck, though, was a different story; it was more of a chore than a meal. They serve it chopped bone-in, with barely any meat on the pieces, so I was pretty much left with picking around more bones than bites.

Overall, ia great spot to swing by for some straightforward, comforting Szechuan noodles. While I haven’t fully explored the rest of their menu, I’d suggest sticking with the noodles.“

“Celebrated our Wedding Anniversary at the Capital Grille and our meals were excellent!! I had the tuna, and my husband had a filet. Both cooked perfectly!! Bartenders and severs were exceptional as usual.!! They treated us with desserts, which were fabulous too!!!“

I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“
