“I live in California and a friend who lives in Maryland sent me some handmade granola from Light House Bistro. Loved it so much that I ordered 2 additional bags. Then ordered 3 more bags. Unfortunately, the last order wasn’t as good. Called the restaurant and left a message with the manger. I received a message letting me know that a replacement order was on its way. I thought, wow! That’s great customer service! Today, my box arrived and to my surprise, TWO extra bags were included with my original order. That’s above and beyond my expectations of good customer service! The granola tasted wonderful and I’ll be sharing. Thank you Ronnie and Light House Bistro for representing quality and excellence. VR”

“Do not get the cheesecake for dessert! They get it from an outside source and it arrives frozen. You can tell by how it crumbles. The Graham cracker crust is too thick. Another give away it is round like a Puck.Everything else was great. The creamed spinach and the mashed are plenty for two or three people. The seafood Bisque is excellent.Good pour on my scotch. My wife got a cab save by the glass and thought it was great. The coffee after dinner was strong but very good.”

“We've never had a bad meal at this Red Hot & Blue location. My favorites have been: Burnt Ends Appetizer, RHB Chopped Salad, Grandma's Potato Salad (very little mayo), and Carolina-Style Pulled Pork Sandwich (though needs a better vinegar with a bit of hot pepper) with a side of coleslaw. Staff are all very friendly and check-in to make sure you are happy and if you need anything else. I only gave 4 stars due to a waiter bringing balsamic vinegar for a Carolina-Style Sandwich (no, no, no). We will return...frequently.”

“We recently hosted a baby shower party for our daughter at the Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge in Annapolis. The staff made this event incredibly memorable, and it was easy to arrange and pull off. “This was our second visit to Annapolis and our second visit to this wonderfully warm pub.Stopped by for a couple of Jameson’s and a properly-poured Guinness on our way to check out the next day’s festivities at SHAMROCK THE DOCK.Seamus, a great bartender (as was Brian and a lovely young lady with an incredibly upbeat personality), recommended that we try the corned beef poppers. Delicious! Great Irish music on the sound system and good convo with the barkeeps made for fine craic!Wandered off and came back a wee bit later for the lamb cheesesteak—a wonderful variation on the old Philly classic!Stayed for a bit to listen to a fine singer who was doing some Irish classics….wanted to stay longer but this old coot, after a long drive and a “few” pick me ups, headed off for some rest before the next day’s excellent celebration of the Auld Saint’s special day.The bride and I have been to Ireland many times…the decor…the bartenders…the food…the music…GALWAY does its inspiration proud!”

“Kudos to Carroll’s Creek for a superb wine dinner last evening. The food was so delicious, service was impeccable and was accompanied by great Argentinian wines. We always have really good meals here, but the dinner last evening was outstanding in every way. Thank you to the sommelier, chef, kitchen staff, and servers who made for such an enjoyable evening.”

“I wanted to stay in Annapolis but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to eat. Did a quick search and found this delight of a place. I was able to make reservations on the same day (Saturday) My wife and I arrived and were quickly seated. The restaurant has a nice intimate feel however this place was jumping. Tons of people inside with everyone having a good time. Our waitress was sweet. Made good suggestions and was very attentive. For starters we ordered the Crispy Calamri while my wife had a lemon drop for a drink. The Clamari was in fact crispy. Very solid crunch. The marinara sauce was PIPING hot. Good start to our dinner. The lemon drop was a good mix of alcohol and juice. They provide you the cup along with the remainder on the side. BIG TIME PLUS. For Dinner, I was starving. I ordered the Steak N Fries, along with the Rockfish and Not your Ordinary Mac & Cheese. The steak was delicious! Nice and juicy. Cooks to perfection. Fries were crispy. The Fish was tasty and the mashed potatoes were GREAT!!! The Mac & Cheese is definitely not ordinary. There was a tangy taste that I could do without. It was missing something but the rest of my food was so good I could easily overcook it. My wife ordered the Steak Brazil with mashed Potatoes & Broccoli. She also enjoyed her food. Broccoli was fresh. Mashed Potatoes were delicious. She preferred the filet cooked a little more but still ate them. I'd happily come back and plan on returning to J. Alexander. It was a great time. Great service, Wonderful atmosphere, and good food. I enjoyed myself.”

“Our family went here this evening (Easter) for dinner. We were a party of 11. In spite of it being a holiday, us having a large party and the restaurant being busy.......service was 100% on point! Rafael was our server and he was excellent the ENTIRE time. He consistently checked in on us throughout the entire time we were there and graciously accommodated us in every way. Not only was Rafael great....... the restaurant had several large parties and I could see that the management team was not just present. It was "all hands on deck" to ensure everyone had an amazing experience. I appreciate the attentiveness, the kindness and warmth we were given from the entire team. And I certainly don't want to leave out the food and chefs?The food was great. The calamari was cooked perfectly. The Lobster Ravioli wstile the show but, everyone was pleased with their selections. Everything came out warm and to our liking.You don't always get great experiences when dining out on holidays, but today was exceptionaland this team really shined.”

You'll find generous portions for the price compared to the local white-cloth fare (especially if you stick with the apps, brunch, and casual options). We have yet to try the dinner entrees or cocktails, but they sound very nice. The staff are busy, attentive, and polite.Today we had the cream of crab soup, turkey croissant, and the Ensign pizza. “I received a coupon in the mail for a free appetizer, which got me really excited to try this place. When I walked or drove by it, I always loved the atmosphere and seeing people enjoying themselves outside during the summer. For my meal, I started with Italian Prosecco and grilled octopus as my appetizer. Then I had a veal entrée with gnocchi Mac n cheese, and for dessert, I enjoyed amaretto coffee with a delicious almond cake. Everything was freshly prepared, and the staff and service were incredible. While the veal wasn't my favorite, I think it's more about personal preference for that type of dish rather than the way the restaurant prepared it. “My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at the Maryland Inn. We checked in at the Calvert House and the staff was very welcoming and helpful with all our questions. We decided to have our car valeted and Carson was so accommodating and friendly. He took care of our bags while we went to dinner and after returning to check in then gave us a ride on the trolley to our hotel. Our room was very comfortable especially the bed. We had a corner room and it was spacious with several windows. We love the old colonial details which makes the experience special. As with any older buildings, the bathroom is small with limited space for things. The shower was nice with shampoo and soap. The water stayed warm but the pressure was weak. Our room had a small refrigerator and coffee maker. Large tv. Nice size closet with iron. Another big plus is the location. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. We definitely recommend this hotel. Just realize that with older buildings there are some limitations.”

“This McDonald's is consistent on quality and they keep the line moving fast in the morning during rush hour. My only issue is the ice coffee is often not made to specifications. For example, I like light sugar and it's often anything but light. Other than that though, it's good.”

“I had the pleasure of visiting a family-owned restaurant in Annapolis yesterday and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The customer service was impeccable and the staff, including a young boy who is also learning, were incredibly kind and welcoming. I was thoroughly impressed with the authenticity and quality of the Vietnamese cuisine - it was simply delicious. Even though they recently opened their doors, I have no doubt that they will thrive in the future. If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I know I'll be back!”

“We walked in late last night because I noticed they had gluten free (GF) and vegan pizza. The owner greeted us when we walked in and was very excited to make my pizza when he found out I was vegan/GF. He was proud of the level of care and compliance they adhere to when making allergy friendly options. He told us TropQ stands for “Ty’s Recipes Zero (0) Preservatives Quality.” The vegan cheese was outstanding - melted like a real cheese pizza! I will say that the thin GF crust was charred on the outside but soft on the inside, so each slice was a bit “floppy” when you picked it up. But it tasted very good. We will definitely be back!”

“One word - Amazing. I have bought two birthday cakes for my two daughters from blue crab cupcakes. Both have far exceeded my expectations. The staff is super friendly and the shop is super cute. “First off, I'd like to say they provide excellent service. I let them know that my daughter had a nut allergy. They were very mindful of this and got out a clean spoon and also took out a new tub of the ice cream flavor that she wanted. It was very much appreciated. I had the coconut chocolate chip flavor and it was soooo good. I loved all the fun and creative flavors that you could choose from. Not a whole lot of seating in there, but why sit when you could explore the area while eating your ice cream?”

Wheelchair parking is available and it is really just a short walk from the farthest space. Occasionally parking can be full and there are free parking structures just across the street on this rare occasion.”

“After we were turned away from Harry Browne's because there was only one waitress and she couldn't handle additional guests, we saw this place and were delighted by the woman at the counter who was so warm and friendly and a pure delight. The food was delicious and came out FAST! We were surprised at how quickly 5 orders (sandwiches, salad, and loaded potatoes) all came out boom boom boom .... but the woman at the counter said it best, "we've been doing this for 28 years, we have it down." I loved seeing her chit chat with customers and making them each feel welcomed. Definitely loved the service and the food and wouldn't have even thought to try it until we stopped in front of the cafe wondering where to go eat at 2pm on President's Day. Definitely recommend!”

“We apparently came on a bar crawl night but we still got seated for dinner immediately. Our server, Brooke, was great. She gave us time to ask questions and read through the menu/drinks. We ordered a calamari appetizer, chicken Riesling and crab cake dinner. All was great and my husband said the crab cake was one of the best he ever ate. My chicken had a creamier sauce with mushrooms and bacon. Very tasty! For dessert we had the special Bailey's cheesecake. It was topped with a thick piece of chocolate (not my favorite) but the creamy center was delicious. It was extremely loud but beyond that the food was good!”

“Really good. Only thing is I’ve noticed that there are often chunks of fruit (particularly bananas) in my smoothies, which means it not being blended thoroughly. I prefer to sip my smoothies instead of chewing them.”

“Kilwins Annapolis helped me pull off a great last minute birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I called on Thursday and spoke with Kaileigh who could not have been more wonderful and accommodating. She was the real MVP of this last minute birthday surprise and I am forever grateful. The Buckeyes were delicious, the Peanut Butter cups need to be cut in quarters they are so big and rich, and the peanut butter and chocolate covered Oreos were heavenly. Thank you Kilwins Annapolis and Kaileigh for making my boyfriends birthday his best birthday ever.”

“I had dinner here tonight and it tasted pretty good! Wonton soup, egg rolls and complimentary hot tea were the highlight of the meal. We got the honey chicken which was good. I am excited to come back and try other dishes. Service was also exceptional.”

“My first time trying waygu burger I ordered medium but it was a little under to my preference I would try it again and order well done and I'm sure it would be perfect. The burger was juicy the toppings were good the red onions I added were super thick so overwhelming just a heads up and the fries were cool too I got the mushroom waygu wellington”

“Come for the crabs stay for the view! And the beer! And the service! Really delicious crabs and any form of crab will satisfy you. The whole crabs are great and seasoned so well, and the crab pretzel is a delicious starter. The margs are good and the beer so cold. Really great views of the water. The service is always spectacular.”

“The place is great! It's relaxed, friendly and has a good local vibe. Not too loud but just loud enough to be fun. It's sportscentric and inviting...not at all intimidating for the non-sportsy patrons. It's really a hero's bar for heroes and the decor shows all the pride the place has in the people protecting us every single day. The Chesapeake Bay wings were fantastic and paired well with the equally delish craft beers on tap. Went with friends on Trivia Night and I could be a little biased about the place cuz umm... We won lol.”

“We stopped in for dinner on a beautiful Sunday evening after a busy day watching our daughter compete athletically. We had a short 15 minute wait (for a booth inside) as was discussed with the polite young man at the host stand. The restaurant seemed to have a steady flow of guests with most tables occupied. Though there were also several tables unoccupied, they were in need of immediate attention being cleared. I noticed several staff meandering around but ignoring the unkept tables. Once we got sat, we were greeted by our server after maybe 5 minutes or so. He was very efficient in the beginning, quickly bringing our drinks and taking a food order for our hungry daughter. Her food came out fast which was fantastic. Once we placed the remaining food order, we basically never saw our server again. We asked other staff for a minor food correction, more chips & salsa, and other necessary things during our meal. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!! Came out within a timely manner. Our server came back to check on us as we were finishing up. He did bring me some containers for our unfinished food but no bag to place the different size containers in (which I couldn’t comfortably carry). Our table had zero dishes or glasses removed which made it challenging for me to pack up our food with all the clutter. I will say he was very kind in bringing me a bag of fresh chips to take home. When it was time for me to pay our bill, our server presented an electronic handheld device to process my credit card payment. Once payment was processed, and it was time for the gratuity to be added (mind you he’s still holding the small device but has it positioned where it’s partially visible to me) without hesitation, he starts to automatically press the 20% gratuity button as he says to me, “20% right?” I found this to be so brazen and incredibly rude. I told him I’d tip him accordingly which ended up being more than the 20% (after I had to walk up to the host stand to ask for a bag and ask why the handheld timed out before completing my payment with added gratuity). I’ve worked in this industry for longer than dirt and appreciate that he came to work so that my family and I could have a nice dinner out. I don’t know if this is standard procedure for your service staff to feel entitled to a certain tip percentage regardless of their effort or urgency, or if he just felt that he deserved that but he overstepped boundaries. I didn’t see any management or else I would’ve addressed it during our visit. I’d like to reiterate that our food was truly delicious and I’m thankful for those that showed up for their shift. We’ve always had lovely visits to your establishment without incident.”

“Let me start off by saying that Riley is amazing! I admittedly went to Dunkin' 10 minutes prior to them closing and halfheartedly expected that they would not have any donuts left. I arrived and the floor was mopped, everything was sparkling and there were no donuts on the shelves. I was greeted by Riley and she asked me what she could help me with and I proceeded to tell her that I was hoping to get a donut for my son's birthday. Out of nowhere, she pulls out his favorite donut...a pink frosted donut with sprinkles. Her customer service was amazing and tomorrow she will have made my son very happy as he starts his first day as a four-year-old! ?”

“Great Starbucks with quick service and friendly staff. Plenty of parking in the front and the drive thru line is fairly quick. All of our drink orders were correct. I loved the architecture of the building.”

“We love eating at Chick-fil-A. Food and service are always fantastic. We were there during a bit of a lunch rush, and the food came out quick and with no problems. Always recommend stopping at Chick-fil-A for a quick quality meal.”

“Its a Burger King. Sometimes I've had issues ordering through the app. A few times they have posters showing specials that they do not have. I've been treated with respect at the counter every time I've ordered.”

“I’m giving you a five star because everyone that works there is absolutely amazing but I really think you need to reassess your online ordering as well as your Uber and your DoorDash. You cannot accept 40 orders at opening and expect your employees and your customers and your delivery drivers to be happy I understand you want the business but having to wait 19 minutes today while seven people wait and eight people are in line and nobody is on the register. I was a chef for 22 years. Give your employees the opportunity to turn off online orders and let them get caught up have someone at the register and also have a manager overseeing them. You have five people that don’t know what they’re doing today not one person on register and nobody’s checking the online orders.I would like to add that after waiting 18 minutes I canceled my order and walked out. I watched three other people do the same thing I had a customer that came in for a pick up time at 11:33 leave at 11:48. I know you got the management staff. Where were they today?”

“This restaurant was recommended by a friend. There are several locations in and near Annapolis. I have visited both locations in Annapolis and have only good things to say...he food was delicious, atmosphere was authentic and friendly....filled with locals. Take out and dine in are available.”

“Awesome place. Terrific wine selection. Wine expert is awesome. Ambiance is spacious, clean with cool statues. I really felt like I was in a little Italy restaurant or actually in Italy. Their pastas are fantastic as is their pizza's. I have really been trying to find an authentic New York style pizza because the places I live near in Crofton are missing mark. Italian Market fell off my radar a few years back after we had some less than great experiences. But, they are first class, being able to enjoy a Chianti while you wait in a great atmosphere is worth the wait. Take the time and visit you will not be disappointed”

“Best employee??? ANGEL! Anytime I've gotten a coffee and it's not right he is quick to fix it. Angel is very professional, highly motivated, and goes above and beyond the other employees. I've been meaning to write a review about him for the past year. Needless to say, yesterday I had a lady who just seemed irritated and wouldn't even say good morning, nothing. Today, Angel was at the drive thru and all was good. Regardless of where life takes him I know he will succeed! Thanks for making my coffee perfect every time and starting my day off right. :)”

“This Dunkin’ was willing to correct my order that was made incorrectly at another location I had stopped at on my way to work (didn’t realize until I had pulled back into the road to continue my commute). You're guaranteed some gratis donut holes if you order a dozen & give a tip Older establishment with dated decore, but clean & enough seating.”

“I went to take my son and his friend to the mall in Annapolis and I found this Jewel, a cozy place where everything is prepared fresh daily.I dared to get off to be poor and enjoy a deliciously foamy and balanced coffee, I ordered a latte, I loved it.For dessert we shared a dulce de tres leche, I was speechless, it was super delicious, not cloying and it was the best thing I ever tried, we also ordered the dulce de Paris, we liked it but normal.To take away I ordered a chocolate mouse that was also very delicious, but my favorite is definitely the tres leche dulce.Fully recommended, the only thing is that when we went there was a line to be served and we had to wait a little, but everything else was excellent, beautiful atmosphere and friendly service with super good energy.They also have tea's, hot and cold coffees, a variety of breads, desserts and cookies, ohh and I can't fail to mention that they also have ice creams that look on another level.”

A homely American style greasy spoon diner run by a husband and wife who are so nice and welcoming. I got the Rueben for lunch and a cup of ginseng tea to warm up. I will go back for breakfast before I leave. Just putting this out into the world: if this place served homestyle Korean food in addition to their regular diner menu it would be an absolute slam dunk of a gem.”

I have tried the shrimp egg rolls, crab rangoon, shrimp lo mein & boneless spare ribs. All the food was tasty. The entrees were large portions and the lo mein was full of decent sized shrimp. I recommend giving them a try!”

A dear friend arranged a small gathering of some of my closest friends & family for a going away dinner. My husband & I are moving out of state after living in Maryland for 40 years. This dear friend Nancy arranged for a "My Favorite Things" dinner to wish us farewell. We had the best beef tenderloin & salmon, accompanied by roasted mushrooms & various colored peppers & onions w/ Bearnaise sauce; served with a beet salad & goat cheese; green salad with avocado, walnuts, cucumber & Violet petals. We finished the meal with an amazing chocolate cake with espresso buttercream frosting. There were other accompaniments with the dessert ~ 2 different wafer cookies and a Petit fours. Each dish was announced & served on gold plates by Chef Kelly herself, along with chef Michael. I felt like I was in heaven. When I walked or drove by it, I always loved the atmosphere and seeing people enjoying themselves outside during the summer. For my meal, I started with Italian Prosecco and grilled octopus as my appetizer. Then I had a veal entrée with gnocchi Mac n cheese, and for dessert, I enjoyed amaretto coffee with a delicious almond cake. Everything was freshly prepared, and the staff and service were incredible. While the veal wasn't my favorite, I think it's more about personal preference for that type of dish rather than the way the restaurant prepared it. “Great food and service in the ambience of a Parisian brasserie. Wine specials included a bottle of Sancerre Rouge at a really good price point. The charcuterie board is a classic French appetizer with authentic French bread. Our entrees were the roast half chicken & frites and the sautéed veal with mushrooms in calvados. The chicken was fall off the bone tender and the frites, well there's a reason we call them French fries. The veal was likewise so tender and dressed in the calvados sauce. Rich and velvety with a side of potatoes and onions. Carmel was our attentive and efficient server. Food, service, ambience...as they might say in France, “Parfait”!”

We had a rehearsal dinner here and it was AMAZING- the facility had private bar area, beautiful fireplace dining room- looked like something from Europe or Colonial Williamsburg. The catering staff was outstanding- from the general manager, Salomon- to all the bartenders and waitstaff- they helped us plan and then pull off an amazing event. Could not recommend more highly- so grateful to O'Brien's for providing a perfect venue and memorable event to our family.”

“We've never had a bad meal at this Red Hot & Blue location. My favorites have been: Burnt Ends Appetizer, RHB Chopped Salad, Grandma's Potato Salad (very little mayo), and Carolina-Style Pulled Pork Sandwich (though needs a better vinegar with a bit of hot pepper) with a side of coleslaw. Staff are all very friendly and check-in to make sure you are happy and if you need anything else. I only gave 4 stars due to a waiter bringing balsamic vinegar for a Carolina-Style Sandwich (no, no, no). We will return...frequently.”

“I was very impressed with the concept of this place. The design of it reminded me of an indoor Biergarten. I walked in to try a beer and ended up finding out it was a sandwich place that serves beer as well, which made it an impressing concept to me. My family was greeted by the cashier, who seemed knowledgeable and had great customer service. She made us aware of the meal options. One is called "make it hoppy" which means to add the beer and side to the sandwich, which is what I opted for. I had the crab cake sandwich. It tasted exactly like a sandwich I enjoy at one of my favorite spots in Ocean City. It was tasty. The host recommended I try the sweet potato chips with a honey seasoning on it so I chose that as my side and had the strawberry cider as my beer. The texture of the chip was like a softer kettle. It was different and I liked that about it. Overall, I had a good first time experience at Region-Ale.”
