“We went to Indigma this evening for restaurant week. The food was fantastic and my nine-year-old loved everything! She gave it a 1523/10 rating! Though everything was excellent, the creme brulee was the best I've ever had. Thank you for a fantastic meal!“

“So,
I ordered the Lamb Curry. I definitely picked the hottest flavor and I'm definitely impressed. This flavor touched my ancestors. The lamb itself was juicy and tender. And the Garlic naan was perfectly seasoned.
I only gave a 4 star because I think a 20 dollar meal should come with at least 1 slice of naan as a meal. We should not be paying a separate price for something that should go with the meal. Especially when the meal is over 20 dollars. Blasphemy.
But perfect food. And because I Did call ahead to find out about the naan, I was able to speak to someone and they were very pleasant and helpful.“

“🥰 MR. AMIR and his family are absolutely lovely people. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“The host was so kind and warm-hearted! I came here with my friend and the energy was incredible. We were just walking around and happened to stumble upon the restaurant and were greeted by everyone. On Sundays, they have buffets and if you go please try the chili chicken. So so so good!! Had a great time and will be coming again <3 - Olanna N.“

“This was my first experience dining at Harbor Tandoor and I will definitely be back. Amazing food and even better service! Our server, Hikmat, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The food was well seasoned and even the veggies were excellent. If you're ever in Inner Harbor, check this place out!“

“This takeout-only restaurant sits at the back of an unassuming convenience store—I definitely would never have discovered it if not for Maps. Despite the setting, though, the food here is wonderful—everything is home cooked to order, with rich spices and brought out boiling hot. And did I mention cheap??? You get so much food, and a more than generous discount if you pay cash.
Like the other reviews, I would recommend calling ahead by 20-30 minutes to order, and then carry out to your preferred eating location! But it’s well worth a visit :)“

“I usually don’t eat Indian food, too spicy, but the ambassador makes the food just perfect for my taste. Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. Today I drove 28 miles from home just to enjoy dinner at this great restaurant. Thank you for the good food and good service.“

“Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!“

“The perfect kind of Indian food for those trying it for the first time! The taste is mild yet flavorful, making it suitable for all age groups. We tried their methi mutter malai, and it was delicious. Really appreciated the complimentary rice served with any gravy — a thoughtful touch!“

“I went in there yesterday (Sunday afternoon) and was pretty much the only person in the place. Service was basic/adequate ... but quick! Flavor was great, portion size was sufficient for lunch today, too! Good value. I'll be back!“

“I had an issue with my order from GrubHub that unfortunately led to me not receiving it but the manager called me two days later to let me know he was out for a couple days and was so sorry to hear about my troubles. He immediately offered to fix it and sent me the food I had been waiting on free of charge. He really made me feel better about the situation and like he cared. I have never had someone show me that level of concern for my issue. All my friends recommend this place, and I am happy to say that I do as well.“

“This is not a dine-in place, but IS a hidden gem in Pikesville. It's hidden at the button of an apartment complex. As they're Nepalese, they offer some dishes that are not on all Indian menus.
Their delivery is also quick. I tried this place on a whim, and they did not disappoint.
I haven't had any of their American, Chinese, or other fare, however.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really. Maybe if you live there.“

“Fairly new to visiting the restaurant however the four (4) times I have dined or had carryout, the staff was welcoming, pleasant, the food was delicious (sidebar: I recommend the cream of crab soup), and the atmosphere was relaxing. My high school class reunion committee even planned our meeting there and was able to plan professionally without a lot of interruptions and A-1 service. I would recommend and do not have any bad reviews! Continue being a staple in the community.“

“By far the best food and service in Baltimore! I always come in for the lunch buffet and the food is DELICIOUS! A lot of options and sometimes there is this special desert that is this doughnut drizzled with honey(?) which I love, and always have it with the complimentary Nepalese milk tea. Great options for vegetarians too.“

“There is no better place in the area for chicken, tiki marsala, it is cooked perfectly and you can do a single order, which is enough to feed two people. We used to live a lot closer and could not find any place that could compare to the quality of their Indian food.“

“We loved our experience at Verandah Kitchen. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish packed with flavor and beautifully presented. We ordered a variety of small plates, and each one was a hit. The vibe was perfect—great music, welcoming ambiance, and a space that felt both lively and comfortable.
The service was top-notch from start to finish. Warm, attentive, and thoughtful. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly kind and engaging—it’s clear this place is run with a lot of heart.
We’re already planning our next visit and have a growing list of dishes we’re excited to try. Highly recommend Verandah Kitchen for anyone looking for memorable food and a standout dining experience!“
