“Food looked amazing and it was good, I was a little disappointed with my risotto but the salmon was really good so probably I should have just sticked with seafood. The restaurant is cute but upstairs it gets very noisy and, if you are hard to hear like me, it made it a little difficult to talk so maybe grab a seat outside if the weather is nice!

There were multiple large families with children and it was truly a great experience. “I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.“

“I ordered 2 dozen XL crabs today, and when I went to pick them up, there was only 1dozen crabs on my order. After speaking with the young lady who took my order, she remembered taking the order, but inadvertently put in the wrong amount.
She immediately told me to go home with the aforementioned 1dozen, and that she would deliver the second dozen to my home personally.
You do not get this type of service anywhere else.
The crabs were delicious, heavy, and packed. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but just assumed she was the manager.
I’ve been getting my crabs here for years. It is the only place I go for carry out, and will continue to do so.

“We went to the Rumor Reel for the first time last night to hear one of our favorite Key West bands, The Marshall Morlock Band. The food was delicious, the beer was cold, and the waitress and other staff were very friendly and hard-working. Most recently went with friends on a double date & everyone was very nice, especially the kind lady who took our order (in the area where you order crab cakes & desserts). “Good place to come for a quiet dinner. Food was good. I ordered the salmon (blackened) with the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was really good. Workers there were wonderful and so nice. I put only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because the bathrooms are really far and you have to leave the restaurant and go towards the middle of the hotel to find them.“

It's the best and the people that work here in Pasadena are the sweetest most accommodating out of all of them. I love the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the service and the food. “I made a last-minute decision to spend the weekend in Annapolis and was just looking for a good dinner spot close to my hotel. Stoney River ended up being a great choice! It’s attached to the mall, so parking can be a little tricky depending on the time and day, but it wasn’t too bad when I went.

I was dining solo and walked right in to find plenty of open bar seating. The bar staff was super pleasant, the area was clean, and the vibe was laid-back and welcoming. They also had a solid drink selection, which is always a plus.

I started with the steak egg rolls appetizer, which came out fast and was a lot more food than I expected (not a bad thing!). For dinner, I went with the filet Oscar and a wedge salad. I always order my steak medium rare and they nailed the temp—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Oscar style was definitely the right call. The wedge salad was okay, but the blue cheese was a bit heavy for my taste.

All in all, it was a really good solo dining experience. Great service, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. My total with two drinks, appetizer, and dinner was just over $100—not bad at all for the quality. I’d definitely come back, whether solo again or with company next time.“
