“Cute little spot (little being the key word). Drinks were great, I got a cocktail and my friend got the cappuccino. The coffee was one of the best she has had and my cocktail was nice. The food was delicious, they specialize in biscuits and you definitely have to try them. The table next to us got the monkey bread and it looked to die for, will definitely be ordering that next time. Service was a little slow but I think that had to do with the layout of the space and how new the place is. They are still trying to figure out their groove.
Parking: You need to be able to parallel park to drive here.“

“Spoons is hands-down one of the best breakfast spots in Federal Hill — maybe in all of Baltimore. From the moment you walk through the door, the warm, cozy vibe hits you, and you know you’re in for something special. It’s got that perfect neighborhood café energy where you feel welcomed whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor.
The coffee is absolutely top-notch — bold, smooth, and locally roasted. You can tell they take it seriously here. And the menu? A total dream for breakfast and brunch lovers. My hubby always orders the 2-2-2 and I get the Eggs Benedict. They are always on point. The Breakfast Burrito and Crab Benedict are also winners, packed with flavor and fresh ingredients.
What really sets Spoons apart is the service. The staff is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to be there. Even when it’s packed (which it often is), they keep things moving with ease and a smile.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Federal Hill, do yourself a favor and make time for breakfast at Spoons. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again — and bring your friends along next time.“

“Amazing bagel sandwich with crisp bacon and a perfectly cooked egg with a jammy yolk. Iced coffee was fine but unmemorable. S’mores cookie is a 10/10. One star knocked off because it’s very a cramped space and layout, but understood given the building.“

“Usually have to get here early to get your hands on a pastry so was delighted to pull it off. Coffee is Ceremony, so that was yummy. The pastries are always interesting combinations of flavors I would never normally think of so their menu is always fun to look over.
Had a s’mores cookie on the spot and a crepe brûlée tart for later. Both were delicious! Tried The crab sando too; I wish had a little more of the sandwich filling to balance the bread but was still tasty.“

“This place is amazing. Their empanadas are absolutely the best in Maryland. Their Dominican steak bowl is AMAZING. The Korean bbq steak bowl… AMAZING!! My only complaint is their steak sub. While it was TOTALLY delicious, it was very small for $12. It was sooo good I wanted more.“

“This beautiful little cafe in Hampden near JHU is such a gem. The open-faced toasts are full of flavor, and the croffle is a fun and tasty treat! As a picky coffee lover, I was genuinely impressed by the vanilla sweet cream cold brew—smooth and well-balanced. The strawberry matcha is also a must-try for any matcha fan! Cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff—highly recommend stopping by!“

“As soon as my wife and I walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The VIBE is amazing. Steffon then seated us and took our drink orders. I had the Cadillac on 22's (just woke up from nap lol) and my wife loved her drink 🍸 and she normally does not drink alcohol.
Now for the food 🔥🔥🔥🔥 🔥Chef Heather is amazing. The Brown Sugar French Toast, Espresso Rub Wings and country potatoes (Party time for your taste buds), Salmon with Fried grits & cheese...ALL DELICIOUS.
We will be back and bringing FAMILY & FRIENDS...#AdventuresofTnJ #TTC4LIFE“

“Everything is fantastic! From breakfast sandwiches (and plates) to lunch specials. The food tastes great, you are usually in and out very quickly, and they have fantastic memories and will greet you by name. I ended up with Covid, my last day of work was Nov 17th, and I did not come back until Jan 4th. They still remembered my order! "I" didn't even remember it!!! Always excellent. Highly recommend.“

“When we lived in Maryland I bought all of our coffee from High Grounds. I have now moved to Georgia and wouldn't consider changing my coffee source. The main reason that one would go to a coffee roaster for the 2nd, 3rd or 99th time would be for the quality of the coffee, and any one who would rate High Grounds less than 5 star“

“A huge thank you to the folks at One World Cafe for coming to the Hopkins football tailgate crepe tent rescue. We discovered post game when it was time to start cooking for the team that we left our cooler of eggs and milk on the 7th floor of the Marriott parking garage. We had all the toppings but no crepe ingredients! Remembering all the great breakfasts I have had at One World (as a regular customer we have always received stellar service and food) I dashed across the street to see if they could spare some eggs and milk. Everyone was so friendly and kind and happy to help and saved the day with 8 eggs and a gallon of milk! Thank you so very much. Your kindness was much appreciated and helped our team celebrate our win! 5 stars for quality service and kindness and generosity as a bonus!“

“I come here fairly frequently for breakfast and the food is always great. A little greasy sometimes but that’s no big deal since it’s so tasty and you can always just dab it with a napkin. Their cold brew is straight up the best I’ve had in the city. Something worth noting - the wait can be a little long during lunch time so I recommend ordering ahead.“

“Stopped in here for coffee while visiting Baltimore, then went back every day afterwards for coffee and breakfast/lunch. Everything is amazing; and the Charles sandwich absolutely knocked my socks off--I want to move to Baltimore just for that! So refreshing, perfectly toasted, perfectly complementing flavors, just absolutely beyond delicious. The Charles might be the best sandwich I've ever had. I don't have the words to express how incredible it is. Best. ever. The owners are super awesome and sweet, too! Coffee Land is the BEST!“

“This is the best breakfast and lunch spot in the city, hands down. The food is always perfectly prepared, the menu has exactly what you'd want. The prices are really low for being in the middle of the city, and for the quality of the food it cannot be beat. The deli selection is always fresh, the portions are great, and the vibe is low key and makes you feel like family.
The proprietor and her son run the whole place themselves, every day of the week. It's a prime example of small business at its finest, and deserves your attention. An absolute gem of an eatery - you owe it to yourself to check it out!“

“If you have celiac disease, you can feel safe eating here. A manager will come and talk to you and communicate your allergies and concerns with a chef so you can get what you want. Im usually just concerned with gluten and tree nuts, but they will take anything you have into consideration. And the GF bread options for their sandwiches are awesome. AND and, the hash browns and grits are GF! That's rare.“

“Amazing food here! I was truly shocked by the blast of flavors my meal had in it. I forgot the name of the food I ordered, but it was an omelet with some chicken tenders inside with something yummy on top (I also forgot what it was LOL) with grits on the side. I didn't know the side was going to be extremely small, but it was delicious at least. I'd say the size if the omelet and the taste it had in it made up for it since it's the main dish. The maple- i think bourbon sausage was also tasty!! Ai Would definitely recommend giving it a try here just to try!“

“Cute local cafe to bring your laptop to work on
Inside was really cute and modern at the same time. I think it is connected to the hotel so it was really clean and nice.
The cafe was really cute. Relatively small (max 30 ppl). I ordered strawberry matcha latte but it was different from what I had before from other store. I didnt see strawberry but i tasted strawberry which was very confusing to me.
My friend said cold brew was quite strong like she wanted the ice to melt for dilution.
I recommend if you are nearby here. Idk if I want to come here for the matcha latte but I will try different drinks with food next time.“

“1:39 4 ..ll 5G§ 83 < Reviews Koba Café First coffee shop of 2023! Koba is a cozy shop on the corner. The young lady at the counter was friendly. She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

“Pizza was great, didn’t love that you could only order online and it was a minimum 1.5 hour wait. I thought maybe they were busy but I showed up early hoping it would be done and it was empty and cashier told me pizza guy had to step out … lol what? Not great first impression.“

“Let me tell you something—Water for Chocolate is an experience, not just a restaurant. Chef Sean Guy and his team pulled off something truly exceptional when they welcomed our party of over 50 guests into their cozy space and delivered service that was nothing short of flawless. Every plate, every pour, every bite—handled with heart, hustle, and hospitality. We literally ordered everything on the menu. Gluten-free? Covered. Vegetarian? Delicious. Carnivore? Oh, you’re in for a treat. Chef Sean didn't miss a beat. His kitchen was in perfect rhythm, delivering impeccable flavor with every dish. You could taste the love and precision in every bite. If you're going, do yourself a favor—get the Chipotle Salmon and ask for extra sauce on the rice. Trust me, that flavor combo is a game-changer. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish tells a story, and every bite feels like home. This spot is 5 stars, chef approved. Chef Sean Guy is a culinary conductor and Water for Chocolate is his symphony. Put this place on your must-dine list—you'll walk out inspired, satisfied, and already planning your next visit.“

“We stumbled upon The Nook upon accident, having a little bit of extra time before an appointment. The service is great, and the food is even better. As a family that is next door at Hopkins far too often and always disappointed in the food and service, this was a breath of fresh air.“
“Oh my, oh my! This right here is like heaven in your mouth. I gobbled the warm ham and cheese croissant like I hadn't eaten in a year ...big flakes falling to the floor, and the overweight Chihuahua was grateful. I've never eaten such a delicious concoction!!!! My first sampling of your goods was a surprise delivery from my rescue partner. My only regret is that I only got one of them! I'll be visiting you soon!!! You are THE master of your craft!!! Extremely superior product!!! Thanks so much for yet another reason to love Beaver County!!!! 🐾💕🐾“

“The B&O Café provided a refreshing respite during our visit to the museum. It is located in one of the historic buildings that also houses some of the museum's educational programs and is easy to find when one visits the outdoor train garden. There is seating both inside and out, and given today's heat, we appreciated the clean and well-spaced tables inside. We were happy to learn that our purchases of drinks and fresh pastries supported the Franciscan Center Dignity Plates Culinary Training Academy and that the cheerful staff on duty would become certified as a ServSafe Food Manager after completing the 13-week course. The Chocolate Chip Brownie was heavenly, and the Cold Brew Nitro was perfect for today's weather. If we did not already have a lunch commitment, we would have tried the various soups, sandwiches, and grilled burgers sourced from local farms - something to look forward to next time.“

“Usually good food, but ordered the cauliflower soup this week and it was inedible and overpowered with rosemary. Even my friend who will eat anything wouldn't eat it. I hate food waste, but there was no way I could eat more than one spoonful.“
“As a vegetarian this place has been essential to my time at John Hopkins. I've tried the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich, paneer Tika misalla, veggie dilla, and their falafel. All have been delicious, and has me craving their food. Prices are also very reasonable. Staff is friendly.“
“Best food on campus, breakfast and lunch. Pre-made breakfast burritos are toasty, warm, and ENORMOUS. Not for the faint of heart (me) unless you want to be sent into a food coma (which I was) and sleep through your afternoon class (worth it). Don't even get me started on the sandwiches at lunch. I get an egg salad sandwich (hummus if they're out of egg salad) on toasted rye with all the fixings -- and I mean ALL of them. You can get a mile-high stacker that's caving in on itself for a single meal swipe here. What do you get at Chick-fil-a? A single piece of chicken on soggy bread. The service here at the Coffee Shop is amazing, too. Workers are super nice and fun to chat with. If you've just finished working out at the RAC, swing in here to cancel out all those calories you burned because you earned it, champ.
Vegetarian options: Good stuff“
