We decided to watch the commanders vs the ravens here and I tried the bang bang shrimp bowl which was wonderfully tangy and balanced with the pickled veggies, green mix, and rice. This is a welcome addition to cross street market! I also love that they have easy ordering kiosks so you can wait in the seating area and get a text when your order is ready.“

“Breakfast at Sunny's is the bomb, but only if I've got some cash on hand, since credit cards are a no-go. This place has been around longer than I have - okay, almost - and I'm turning 52 in just a week. I enjoyed conversing and meeting mom's daughter and granddaughter. She has a well-established business and consistently provides exceptionally great service and good food. If you ever find yourself near Johns Hopkins (East Baltimore), take my advice and check them out before 1:30pm. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee it! 😉“

“This is now the *only* Subway I go to. Frankly, I never went to Subway until I discovered this place. The ingredients here seem exceptionally fresh & I am never shortchanged on them. I kno older reviews have a lot of complaints about not getting all the ingredients, etc.- but that must have been under a previous management. It's why I always sort reviews by most recent first.I always have particular tastes w/my orders & there is one employee at this location who knows exactly how to make my sandwich and he is always there when I go. (I will get his name & update my review.) I get the Double Monster in a wrap (instead of a roll) w/specific choices (Beef, Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, Chipolte sauce & all the toppings except jalapeños). He puts the ingredients in a specific order that he knows will work best. And tho it is a challenge to get the wrap to roll around all those ingredients - he gets it done perfectly every time. It's an art to watch & everyone in the store stops to watch him do it. The other employee kindly calls him from the back to come out when they see me enter the store...b/c they know I would like him to make my sandwhich. The other employee has made my sandwhich & did a perfectly good job - but there is a special rapport I have w/the one who regularly makes my sandwhich. And we have fun while he makes it.I always leave a good cash tip tho I pay by credit card for the sandwhich. I do this in most food shops & restaurants I go to b/c I don't know for sure whether the employees get the full tip in the credit card. Some places, the owners take a share of the tip on credit cards. It's the main reason I still carry cash around :-). Will update w/employee's name.“

“My experience today was a masterclass in professionalism by the three young employees behind the counter. I wish I knew their names, because they deserve all the praise and a nice pay raise for their efforts today. Ahead of me were two of the most obnoxious, ignorant, entitled women I have ever encountered. They commandeered the line for a lengthy period of time, ordering sandwich after sandwich, while face-timing to figure out what everyone else wanted (20 minutes at minimum; possibly longer). You can place an order ahead of time, folks. It's not that hard. The employees working this evening remained extremely professional, despite the ignorant behavior by these customers. When they finally and mercifully left the premises and I received my food, I commented those young people for their efforts in the face of that challenge and tipped them for that alone. To the owner of this location, whoever was working behind the counter past 5pm today deserves your thanks and respect. Give them a nice raise.“

“Speed of service was fast the food was delicious they were wearing gloves while serving the food but I didn't see any sanitize water at the end of the line and it did not wipe down the line with sanitizer as they was going along now right there with build up food “

“I went to purchase 2 items. I purchase a cheesesteak sub and a portabello mushroom wrap. Both sandwiches were delicious. The veggies were fresh and fabulous. The sub roll and wrap were delectable. The service was excellent! It wasn't crowded around 4 pm on a weekday afternoon. I was able to receive my items in 20 minutes or less. Since it was a great experience and the food was fabulous, I will be returning soon.“

“It's the only place that's open in my area 24/7 only half of the employees can understand what you are saying which does make it hard when trying to build my sandwich the way I want it but otherwise it's a good little place for a late night bite.
I saw others comments about the homeless people just ignore them and you will be fine they will not do anything because there is always a security guard that stands outside by them so they can't cause terrible

Vegetarian options: I think it is labeled what is and what isn't idk I eat real food sorry but I'm pretty sure I saw a little sign above what things where veg.

Parking: You can park next to the subway or on st.paul St. But on St.Paul you'll have to pay but I think the pay cuts off at a curtain time not sure I usually just walk there

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is a very easy to access wheelchair ramp it's kinda tight so idk if it'll fit no scooter type of chair but a basic roll n go would be fine“

They weathered the pandemic and came out on the other side still able to provide affordable lunch options while still being fresh and high quality. Only just so happened that I came across this place on one of my walks! “I had to take care of some business at SECU. I was hungry and didn't feel like waiting until I got home. I decided to try firehouse subs. I walked in and was greeted by the young man behind the counter. I let him know I was new there and asked him was was some of his favorites. He gave me two options. I decided to try the Jamaican Jerk chicken, it was so good. The bread was so nice and fresh. I really enjoyed my sandwich“

“So I came in after an unfavorable experience at bubba gump down the street and didn't eat. I walked in was greeted by the two gentleman behind the counter could tell they were both happy. As I'm about to order a young kid walks in yelling demanding cookies and to be served to him in a specific manner and could tell the kid was agitated. The two young men behind the counter did as they would with any other customer and take their order and receive payment. I chose to let them take care of the kid to just get him out of the store ASAP. I could not commend how relaxed and professional the two workers were and how nice they were. I hope the owner of this subway knows how lucky he is to have these two guys working for him in the professional manner they composed themselves not only representing themselves but the store aswell. “This subway is a great regular lunch spot employees are quick, kind and responsive. I feel bad whenever they receive a mobile order because the new order alert sound is a loud and repetitive alarm. If they are working on a sub they cant just stop, deglove, press the confirmation button to silence it, reglove and finish the sub. Subway should consider changing that sound or workers with ptsd might start quitting from the potential trigger.“

“Usually the food is pretty good, but you will be waiting for it. Prepare to be in drive thru for 15-20 minutes even if you are the only one in line. But their California Chicken sub is worth the wait for me. Fries are generic, mozzarella sticks are surprisingly really good, and the fruit lemonades are all good.“
