“The staff at the Laurel First Watch are so wonderful. The hostess with glasses is always very friendly and upbeat, I once saw her doing sick yo-yo tricks for a child to make them smile. It made us smile too. One of the waitresses always recognizes us and gives us a warm welcome. Every staff member we have interacted with has been so friendly, and our order always comes out perfect & in a timely manner.
P.S. I also REALLY appreciate the coffee for people on the waitlist!! It dramatically increases my patience to wait for a table LOL.“

“Eggspectation is becoming a DMV staple for me. Multiple locations to conveniently find and you know you’re going to get quality food and service every time. It is the one place where I know I can take a friend family member or business colleague for breakfast brunch lunch dinner or happy hour! Not sure how they pulled it off but this is an exceptional restaurant.“

“Celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday. Our server Shannon overheard us talking about her birthday. After ordering which. took less than 15min for all three of us to receive our order. 4servers wished her a Happy birthday with ice cream“

“Get there early because there aren't tons of seats and this joint is popular. It's a little shop with lots of heart if you aren't looking for decor or ambiance. Feels more like a cafeteria but the food and service are always on point. Great place to kick back with a friend. No pressure. No fuss. No pretenses. What you see is what you get. Love it. Repeat customer.“

“First time as a regular from the area and I have nothing to say but praise! Got the breakfast for the first time absolutely delicious, tastes fresh and very satisfying. Great owners and well run establishment, a hidden gem that deserves recognition. Look forward to trying more from the menu!“

“First time at this specific location and when I say the food WAS BOMB!!! I will only come to this location for now on! I got the fish platter with a half and half and everything was delicious. Our food was so good, the customers behind us asked what was that delicious smell (the fried whitening) and they ended up ordering the same thing!
Kathya at the front was able to help my Bestfriend and I select a meal which was spot on and our cook Keshia cooked our meals TO PERFECTION!!! Please come here if you see this review!!“

This spot is one of the best little hole-in-the-wall gems you’ll find. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and baby… it shows. The French toast? 🔥 The bacon? Perfect. The salmon cakes? Don’t even get me started. And the grits are EVERYTHING.
What really makes it special though is the people. The staff is so friendly and welcoming—they actually take the time to get to know you. Come in a couple times and they’ll remember your order and how you like it. That kind of service is rare these days.
If you want a good, home-cooked breakfast without lifting a finger, this is your spot. Trust me—you will NOT be disappointed.
