“Well I get 3 shrimp and chicken lomeing and it was delicious. And 3 wins with French fries which it was super.
I did try hunan chicken before, but it doesn't pass my taste.
So service was fast less than what ever they said it will be. So I will keep getting different choice and I'll let you know“

“Benny’s Sub Shop in La Plata is legit. The fried rice is great and way better than you’d expect from a sub shop. On top of that, the customer service is super friendly and laid-back, which makes the whole experience even better. Solid local spot for sure.“

“I almost didn’t walk into Hunan Taste. When I saw pho on the menu, I hesitated. I know pho. I’ve had it done right, and when a Chinese place throws it on the menu, it usually means they’re trying to be everything to everyone.

But I’m glad I went in.

I ordered what I always judge a place by — roast pork and lo mein. If you can’t get that right, nothing else matters. The roast pork was legit. Flavorful, not dried out, not that bland filler meat some of these pop-up spots use. Mix it with the lo mein? That’s a winning combination every time.

Then came the egg roll. Not a spring roll. A real egg roll. Thick wrapper, crispy, hearty filling.

But what sealed it for me was the mustard. Homemade Chinese mustard — the real deal, the kind that clears your sinuses and lets you know someone back there cares.

If you’re in Springfield and you want solid Chinese food, this is a good spot. I’ll be back.“

This little tiny place is filled with good energy and even more delicious food. If you’ve eaten in Korean-dale, you won’t be disappointed with this spot. Super super super yum!“

“I've been a regular customer of Hunan Manor for many years. The food is always delicious and the owner and staff are always welcoming! The delivery service is quick. Although I have moved further away, Hunan Manor on Shenandoah Road is still my go-to Chinese restaurant. I am never disappointed.“

“The tasty food is one thing BUT one thing which stood out for me is their great customer service. Jane and her other colleague were all smiles, kind and attentive. You can tell they love the job that they do. This is the kind of service you wanna comeback for more. I also appreciate that they're wearing a transparent mouth shield as it looks more neat than a regular mask. They offer free soup and coffee on top of your regular order which is great since it's winter around this time. “I'm in town from NC for a quick visit and had a taste for some chicken wings. The service was kind, efficient and attentive. The eating area was small but spotless. DRUM ROLL..the wings and sauce were Amazing. Scorching hot and fresh, they were crunchy, flavorful and delicious.

“Their mumbo sauce chicken and fried rice reminds me of my childhood. I was born and raised in dc. Grew eating the sweet red mumbo sauce that will stain your fingers. I stumbled upon this place and enjoyed my food. The only thing I would inform you to do is to ask for the mumbo to be added to your chicken and rice if you'd like and to have them add extra.“

“This is the best Chinese takeout we have found in the area - we drive here from Waldorf to pick it up because it really is better than any other place we have found. The only one that comes close is Hunan Star in La Plata but this is still preferred. My husband loves their General Tso chicken and I'm a big fan of their Egg Foo Young. Portion sizes are large so we always have leftovers! Worth the drive to Manokeek!“

“Our food was delicious and fresh! The cooks took their time and did not rush to get the order out quickly. I ordered Shrimp and mixed vegetables and my husband had the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Both were cooked exactly how we like it! The meals reminded us of Chinese food in our home town NYC! We will definitely be coming back!“

“Amongst the best egg rolls in the area. While the General Tso's Chicken was good, there was nothing "hot and spicy" about it. Either I'll refry it with some red pepper flakes or try the kung pao chicken next.
