From the time I walked in the door and was greeted by the hostess, from the server, the sommelier, the food, ambiance- everything was perfect. The food was unique, and delicious. “It’s tough to find a vegan restaurant that really elevates vegetables instead of just giving you reheated Gardein items but Planta does it. The ambience is very sleek and modern (great for a date night) the bar is well-stocked and there are a ton of different vegetable-centered food options that are done really well. My wife also has a gluten allergy and they went through the menu with her to discuss what options were safest for her. We’ll be back for sure.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“Honestly thee best raw vegan food I have ever tasted . My favorite right now is the Live burger entree with arugula salad and plantains. For dessert I love their doughnuts OMG so delicious . Anything you try is mouthwatering and absolutely amazing. You can taste the love they put into the food . I travel and hour from Baltimore to Cane &Coconut . I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me.
