“This is always a fun place to eat. Highly suggest making reservations i you don't want to sit outside because it is cozy inside. We have found that if there are a lot of people at the bar it can be very loud and hard to hear your guest/s. There desserts are delicious!“

“I have eaten here several times and every time the food is amazing. My favorite so far has been the cream of crab soup but also their shrimp wrap. Everytime I try a new item I’m impressed. On the same topic some of the food is actually way more than you think you paid for (half chicken meal)!The crab dip is amazing! While it doesn't come with enough bread you can just as easily use your fries or another side as an extra dipping utensil. I had the half chicken with the dry rub and while it may not have been flavorful enough for my tastes I think it was more than enough for most people, plus it was nice and moist.Overall a good place to get a nice filling lunch or dinner without feeling upscale, or in layman's terms, fancy.“

April 20th, I just came for breakfast today but they were transitioning to lunch! That was fine as my Cuban Rubin was fantastic along with the Key Lime Crush!“

“I have yet to ever write a review for somewhere but i felt this place truly deserves one. Some of the best food I've had in a long time complemented by amazing service. Our waiter had forgotten our appetizer at first which we weren't too concerned with as the portions of food were very big (and every bite amazing) but upon us telling him about it he not only gave us the appetizer for free, but also a free dessert. This isn't where the good service ended however because our waiter was one of the friendliest people I've ever met, really just a joy to be around. He started conversation and was so apologetic when he realized he forgot our appetizer. If he is reading this, I would want him to know he deserves all the joy in the world. “The Beanery is a lovely spot with ample accessibility from the road. Many spaces to park, with a hip decor on the inside. Staff was attentive and worked quickly/efficiently to provide me with my food and beverage. All while being in the weeds around a late Saturday morning-lunch time rush. All of the workers were polite and respectful towards me. I got the brown sugar shaken espresso and an Asiago bagel w/lox. The coffee was well made and flavorful; my bagel was toasted well with a nice schmear of cream cheese. Major plus on the amount of lox upon my bagel :)!! Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would go again!“

“My husband and I recently visited Bugeye Grill, located in Solomons Island, MD on Valentine's Day! He made dinner reservations a week in advance . . . And he really outdid himself Upon arrival, we were escorted to the second level of the restaurant and to a private dining area, where it was dimly lit for a romantic atmosphere, and guests were entertained by a gentleman in the corner named Jonah playing on a piano ?Our server, a young woman named Leah, was very nice; the food and beverages were excellent; and the entertainment was exquisite ?It was truly a beautiful and perfect and magical evening!!! And my husband and I wish to thank everyone at Bugeye Grill who played a part in making our Valentine's Day a wonderful one ❤️Whether you're a local or just visiting the Solomons Island area, and looking for a taste of the best of what the Chesapeake Bay has to offer . . . “Solid selection! Date night was a hit...reservations recommended/required on a Friday night. We truly enjoyed the blackened Snapper, SOMD egg-rolls, and fried oysters. Beth was very attentive in taking care of us. Great crowd (hence the reservations) kept the place lively and entertaining. Worth the drive to experience this classic SOMD bar & grill. Enjoy! OBTW....don't overlook the adjacent grocery for THE BEST stuffed ham and chicken salad!“

“My husband took our boys here for brunch they all enjoyed themselves. He brought me home a crab pretzel and some cream of crab soup. The crab pretzel I would never order again, it's very heavy and tastes like they added way to much I want to say cream cheese. It just doesn't taste good. I love crab pretzels but this was not it at all. I'll try my soup and hopefully it's good but we'll see. Great atmosphere though my kids stuffed their faces apparently and enjoyed themselves.“

“One of the best dinners we have had in a long time! We got our meals to-go. Ordered the crab cake dinner that came with sun-dried tomato risotto and asparagus. Everything was cooked perfectly! The crab cake is AWESOME!!! Hands down, the best crab cake we’ve eaten. We had side chopped salads that came with this delicious blue cheese dressing and a side order of cheddar mashed potatoes that were also divine. The entire dinner was perfect!“

“Happened by here after work and gave it a try as I had commercials on the radio focused on the live music. Got a great local IPA from a local brewery across the Potomac and an ice cold glass just the right size. Lots of house made specials from an owner who is very hands on. We shared an order of the Chesapeake pay fries smothered in she crab soup and parm. They were absolutely delish and while a surprising combination paired well together. Even though it’s an hour from home, I’m already planning my next trip. Reduced hours off season so check before you go.“

“This was our 1st visit & 1st time hearing of this place; we're out of towners & were visiting our daughter (an SMCM student) who chose this restaurant. The smells emanating from their kitchen to the parking lot were so delicious & enticing, who wouldn't wait for a seat? After a short 10 min for a table & not long after being seated, the server got our drink orders. My only issue w/ the server was that she kept running off before we were finished ordering or could even ask a question, she was nowhere to be seen except on the few occasions she came to check on us, yet we repeatedly had to ask for drink refills. When you see empty glasses on the table-why not ask if they'd like a refill? I guess it frees you up to not be running for drinks & saves them $$, but when you're spending your hard earned $$ in there, you don't wanna leave thirsty. The food arrived fairly quickly & was hot. My daughter got the meatloaf & I got a cheeseburger; they had to be an entire lb. each, no exaggerating; but the other portion sizes were enough to sate the avg appetite, and no leftovers. But everyone enjoyed the food, we had cheeseburger & meatloaf to take home. The prices were pretty avg for this type of restaurant. I'd definitely go back again.?Parking: The lot is kinda small & on the weekend parking can be tricky @ dinner time. May have to wait for someone to leave or park in a different, further lot.“

“We stopped in this past Saturday and had a fantastic meal. Our server was very attentive and very helpful as we ordered for one of my teens who has some pretty nasty food issues. She made sure what we ordered for her was indeed GF for all parts. All the food we ordered was fantastic, 5 people with 4 different meals (2 duplicate orders). Could not have had a better experience. “I was invited to the club as a guest for an eighty's disco dance party with name that tune for prizes and great DJ. I was made to feel like one of the regulars from the moment I walked in. Drinks were two dollars and the food was free. You have to join of course. It is a private club. I had so much fun I think I will.“
