“I stopped by Pitango for dessert, and it definitely hit the spot! 😋 I tried two flavors: Stracciatella (vanilla with chocolate chips) and Fondente (dark chocolate). I don't usually eat gelato, so I was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess. The service was excellent; I wasn’t sure what to choose, but the cashier helped me by offering samples and sharing details about each flavor I tried. One of the chocolate flavors I sampled was incredibly rich and chocolatey—it's water-based and vegan-friendly, which was a first for me! The restaurant was nice, clean, and had indoor seating that could accommodate several people, but I decided to take my treat to go.“

“I love the hot cocoa from Dolci Gelati at the National Zoo for Zoo Lights. I bought 1 for me and 1 for a friend & went back again for a second night for more on the last night of Zoo Lights. Whipped cream, chocolate & caramel syrup is added to the top. It’s the best treat on a cold winter night or day at the zoo. Thank you!! I’ll keep coming back & bring friends.“

“We went to the Mono (Georgetown) location and our burgers were excellent. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. There was outdoor seating enjoyed by many, but we chose to sit indoors and people-watch in the charming, bustling area on a Sunday afternoon. Great experience as out-of-towners!“

“Great spot for ice cream and coffee with a laid-back vibe. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there were plenty of unique and classic flavors to choose from. I had the mint chocolate chip and it was super creamy and delicious. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, which made it a nice place to hang out for a bit. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and craving something sweet!“

“Enjoyed coming here with my family. The young woman at the counter was so friendly. I told her I was hard of hearing and she was so patient with me. The young woman's name is Unique. She really cares. The food was good but the customer service was excellent. This was our first time in the DC area. We will definitely come back here on out next trip here.“

“I’m originally from Texas and I’ve eaten Mexican paletas (popsicles) my whole life. These are among the best I’ve ever had. You can see and taste the fresh fruit—so delicious and refreshing! The mangonada is also great if you’re feeling adventurous (it’s a spicy mango Mexican treat).“

“Rita’s is my favorite ice cream shop. I worked at DQ in HS and then loved this local ice cream shop back in my hometown. But when I moved to Waldorf a few years ago, I learned of Rita’s and not only is the ice cream, the flavors and treats always amazing, so are the staff; specifically the manager there. I’ve asked his name before and can’t recall it but he does a great job of training the young staff and he’s ALWAYS pleasant, smiling, professional, and just an overall a wonderful person, I can just feel it. That is all for now. Thank you Rita’s and team.“

“Cute and quiet. After a full day in very crowded and noisy areas, this was heaven. Adorable seating “inside” with cool air. We all allll the ice cream. The NY cheesecake was my favorite. I just ate and forgot pix. Took off 1 star because the set up inside wasn’t convenient to order and pay, especially with a lot of ppl.“

“Some of the best Gelato I've ever had!!!!!!! 10 out of 10!!! Amazing. Truly a treat. I usually ride my bike and get the to-go bigger sizes for later. The flavor selection is varied and the flavor is outstanding. It's also right next to a great NYC style Pizza spot. Don't sleep on Altani Gelato & Coffee!!!!“
