“I stopped by Pitango for dessert, and it definitely hit the spot! 😋 I tried two flavors: Stracciatella (vanilla with chocolate chips) and Fondente (dark chocolate). I don't usually eat gelato, so I was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess. The service was excellent; I wasn’t sure what to choose, but the cashier helped me by offering samples and sharing details about each flavor I tried. One of the chocolate flavors I sampled was incredibly rich and chocolatey—it's water-based and vegan-friendly, which was a first for me! The restaurant was nice, clean, and had indoor seating that could accommodate several people, but I decided to take my treat to go.“

“I love the hot cocoa from Dolci Gelati at the National Zoo for Zoo Lights. I bought 1 for me and 1 for a friend & went back again for a second night for more on the last night of Zoo Lights. Whipped cream, chocolate & caramel syrup is added to the top. It’s the best treat on a cold winter night or day at the zoo. Thank you!! I’ll keep coming back & bring friends.“

“We went to the Mono (Georgetown) location and our burgers were excellent. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. There was outdoor seating enjoyed by many, but we chose to sit indoors and people-watch in the charming, bustling area on a Sunday afternoon. Great experience as out-of-towners!“

“Enjoyed coming here with my family. The young woman at the counter was so friendly. I told her I was hard of hearing and she was so patient with me. The young woman's name is Unique. She really cares. The food was good but the customer service was excellent. This was our first time in the DC area. We will definitely come back here on out next trip here.“

“Delicious ice cream with so many flavors to choose from! Tastes fresh, natural, and not overly sweet. The gentleman at the counter was also SO friendly and welcoming, surely making anyone walking through the door feel like family or old time friends. This will definitely be my ice cream spot from now on! All the other creameries lack this level of customer service!“

“I have been buying the buttermilk berry cornbread such a unique flavor. It’s so good. I’m so addicted to it. I’ve never tasted such a grape flavor in ice cream ever.“
“I’m originally from Texas and I’ve eaten Mexican paletas (popsicles) my whole life. These are among the best I’ve ever had. You can see and taste the fresh fruit—so delicious and refreshing! The mangonada is also great if you’re feeling adventurous (it’s a spicy mango Mexican treat).“
