One member of our party arrived and had the table reserve the wait was 30 minutes, took that long for the rest of us to arrive; when we did we were seated rather fast. The crab bomb stole the show, best any of us ever had. Second runner up the crab soup also the baked potatoe was well portioned and was not dried out. The haddock was fried to perfection, and the cake dessert oh my, I ordered dessert to go, When I later dugged into the lemon pound cake each morsel was delicious, as if it was home made. Over all an excellent dining experience, a little pricey but was worth every single dime, we will return.“

“I loved the crabs! I happened to get the Crab Monsters—bigger than jumbo and true to size. They were absolutely huge and delicious. I eat crabs often, and these did not disappoint. The seasoning wasn’t spread evenly at first, but after shaking the bag a bit, it balanced out perfectly—not too salty, which I appreciate. Every single crab was cooked just right—no bad ones in the bunch. I’ll definitely be back for a dozen. They were a lot, but totally worth it!“

“Never been disappointed with Anne Arundel Seafood. Most recently went with friends on a double date & everyone was very nice, especially the kind lady who took our order (in the area where you order crab cakes & desserts). She was very patient taking our large order. Food has always been very good. “This restaurant is excellent and underutilized. I felt as if I had the restaurant to myself, and the cook was my personal chef. I had a very large fillet of salmon with asparagus, and it was perfect! The beers were $5, so a little expensive, but I didn't mind because the food was delicious.“

“I made a last-minute decision to spend the weekend in Annapolis and was just looking for a good dinner spot close to my hotel. Stoney River ended up being a great choice! It’s attached to the mall, so parking can be a little tricky depending on the time and day, but it wasn’t too bad when I went.

I was dining solo and walked right in to find plenty of open bar seating. The bar staff was super pleasant, the area was clean, and the vibe was laid-back and welcoming. They also had a solid drink selection, which is always a plus.

I started with the steak egg rolls appetizer, which came out fast and was a lot more food than I expected (not a bad thing!). For dinner, I went with the filet Oscar and a wedge salad. I always order my steak medium rare and they nailed the temp—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Oscar style was definitely the right call. The wedge salad was okay, but the blue cheese was a bit heavy for my taste.

All in all, it was a really good solo dining experience. Great service, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. My total with two drinks, appetizer, and dinner was just over $100—not bad at all for the quality. I’d definitely come back, whether solo again or with company next time.“
