“Came here because Tasty 68 was closed for renovations, a little hesitant from the 1 star reviews, but we were really pleasantly surprised!

The food was excellent. Maybe even better than Tasty 68? We ordered the sha cha steak, shredded pork, and Mongolian lamb. Everything was cooked perfectly with crisp juicy veggies and tender meats.

It’s very much a Chinese American restaurant, but there were more than the usual basics on the menu and the people working there are Chinese.

Service was also prompt and great. We put in our orders, got waters and tea, refills, food, and the bill all quickly when asked.

We’ll be back for sure!“

“I like authentic Chinese food and this place has dishes that are very similar to what I had in China. It’s really hard to find Chinese restaurants in the states that aren’t “Americanized.”

Plenty of parking nearby in the parking garage. The dishes were affordable and good size portions. The service was quick and food was delicious. “When my family moved to this area over 15 years ago, this place was recommended to us. Still, after all this time, this is the only Chinese place in the area that I will order from, after sampling many in the area (Frederick/MoCo). They have the best hot and sour soup in the area. Actually flavorful. The cream cheese wontons are different, not as crispy as you would expect, but the flavor is great. veggies are always fresh and crunchy, never overcooked. Both the more traditional dishes and the Americanized dishes have great flavors. Food is always ready fast.“

“My husband and I love this place. We go there at least once a week. Over the years we have discovered our favorite items and they are always good. My husband's favorites are: Pepper Steak, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Beef or Pork with Chinese Vegetables, and Egg Foo Young. My favorites are: Cashew Chicken, Orange Chicken, Moo Shu Pork, Pork Lo Mein, and Hot Sour Soup. There are still items on their menu I want to try. They have lunch specials Monday thru Saturday from 11:00 - 3:00. For 99 cents you can add an egg roll or soup to your lunch special. They are closed on Tuesdays.“

Crispy beef - It is thinly sliced and the beef is dry. However, we like to order it because of the crunchy texture and the sweet and spicy flavor.

“Ok so I have had the shrimp with brocolli and white rice a few times which was really good. But today I ordered the singnapore noodles with shrimp and I put non spicy and it was a little too spicy for me, but it was still good, I just prefer less spice. The spring roll or egg roll was so delicious and crunchy. The cheesecake was horrible and frozen. I couldn't even eat it. I shouldv'e maybe ordered the vanilla cake.“

I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and it's been excellent every time and affordable! The vegetable tofu soup ($2.95) is huge, satisfying, and full of veggies. The wonton soup ($2.95) has 3 good sized wontons. Both soups come with a bowl of tastier-than-average fried wonton strips on the side that I end up munching on during the entire meal. The sizzling black pepper beef ($16.95?) was tasty, but I was more impressed by the noodle dishes. The beef chow fun ($14.95?) and the Singapore mei fun ($13.95) were beautifully seasoned and cooked perfectly. I've also gotten the salmon nigiri ($5.95?) a couple times, and it's generously portioned and fresh with great quality salmon. Every meal ends with a complimentary tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream and fortune cookie. “The shrimp with broccli is really good, no need to add soy sauce at all! I always get it a lil spicy, it gives it a kick! The wings are really good too and not all hormone injected looking!🤣! They just need to make their mumbo sauce a lil thicker and flavorful, its a bit watery! Overall their food is on point! The fried rice is good as well!

It did offer a few indoor seatings, but I ordered three lunch combinations to go. Given the location and prices, it was great for our quick lunch. The shrimp chow mein came with lots of ingredients. “Some of the patrons who come here are rude but the staff are fairly kind and respectful towards its customers, I've never had an issue with the food . It's always still warm when delivered and sanitary conditions in the store are up to par. Usually busy so dont be in a rush just go to McDonald's instead.“
