“Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“A hidden gem in downtown Rockville, near the metro station and town center. Their brewed coffee is very good (though I wish they'd let customers add milk themselves) and the freshly prepared foods are also excellent. (I can recommend the parfait and the quinoa-butternut squash salad.) The cafe is counter-service with an airy, light-filled sitting area; very pleasant atmosphere and solid wifi. One cashier is a little brusque but the other staff are extra friendly.“

“My husband and I go to this location often, I want to thank Julissa for being such a great listener , very professional and such a great customer service!. Yesterday, I went to get a drink which at first was wrong not because they messed up my order but because I didn't know the exact name of my drink I just new it was the " Lavender drink". Julissa tried to find out which drink was the one I wanted and in the middle the supervisor Diarra came in and help out so we could really find out what was the drink I wanted. They worked as a team and also educated me with the name of my favorite drink!. Thank you Diarra and Julissa for taking the time and patience to help with my order!. Keep up your great service!!!“

The barista, Elisabeth I believe, kept a conversation with me while making my drink, asking for my foam preferences and temperature, because I told her I had a long day ahead of me. She wanted to ensure my drink stayed warm throughout my day. She smiled and wished me a wonderful day. I hope her manager thanks her on my behalf. She is one of the few baristas that keep up the customer care aspect of Starbucks that has been unfortunately dwindling.“

“Everything this great about this place - but the consistency of drinks at this Starbucks. The location, nestled in the middle of Potomac Village and sitting in a large courtyard, provides ample space. The service is what you'd expect from Starbucks, however, the consistency of drinks simply isn't there. Perhaps because not only is there no Starbucks around for miles (I know - that's shocking), but there isn't any other coffee/meeting place around either. So, this place is busy - we all have nowhere else to go.
It has a captive market so perhaps that's why the drinks are up and Down. Please note - the drinks aren't always bad, but the % of times l've had a bad drink here is much higher than any other Starbucks I've been too.“

The staff are 1 notch more mature in their service and sensitivity to the needs of the customers who either study or work remotely from this location. ALL of the team Leads at this location are masters of their craft and customer service.
On this particular evening, the "Service Master" was Ryan who I observed him do something I have not seen done before at Starbucks. He perfectly aligned each Chair-to-Table. Each table was symmetrically aligned in 1 row with a chair symmetrically aligned in 1 row. This resulted in the coffee shop looking a lot more organized.
