The artistry and detail is beyond impressive and I would highly recommend this bakery as your “Go to” bakery for all of your cakes and cupcakes! Numerous items (including the bread) are not available at opening time, so I recommend waiting at least half hour after posted hours.“

“Accidentally left my wallet at the bakery. As you can imagine, I searched my house and was panicking because I could not find it. Thankfully one of the lovely woman that worked there, came to my home to personally deliver it. I cannot tell you how happy and ecstatic I was to get my wallet back!! “I went to purchase a birthday cake for my daughter and I noticed how delicious the cookies looked. I also read on all the reviews how amazing their cookies are especially the snicker doodle. Alejandra who was simply a sweetheart, helped make suggestions/recommendations and she was so pleasant and helpful. I was so impressed with the customer service and the quality of the baked goods. I give them a 5 star if not 10! They are all very sweet and the cake and cookies are just amazing. I was very a very happy customer!“

“The beignets are made fresh to order. We ordered two orders ( 3 per order) of the powdered sugar beignets and they were ??. We tried the vanilla, strawberry, and raspberry sauces and they made the beignets even better. The vanilla puts you in the mind of a cinnamon roll frosting but better. Beware the powdered sugar beignets can get MESSY so don’t eat them in your car……

The staff were very friendly.

Only downside I there isn’t much seating.

The only issue I really have is the floor back there where they’re baking is always dirty whether they’re just opening or about to close.“

I could not be happier with the treats! As a vegan of over a decade, I have consumed hundreds of vegan baked goods. The Fetching Goodies bars are on par with desserts from popular - vegan and non-vegan - brick and mortar bakeries. I can promise that an omnivore would not be able to tell that Fetching Goodies treats are dairy free! I highly recommend Fetching Goodies. “Amazing coffee, pastries, sandwiches and breakfast croissants. We have coffee shops in Old Town that are closer to us but make the trip to Grounded because it's that good. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, only one place came to mind for dessert to wow our guests. We didn't want a traditional cake, we wanted something that would have everyone asking us where we got the desert. The items we selected were a hit and recommend for not only visiting but catering.

The coffee shop itself is comfy and cozy. It gets busy on the weekends so make sure to go early if you want to get a breakfast croissant.

“Came here to give a 5 star review for their tacos. I’ve been in Waldorf for a few years and haven’t found tacos that I really liked. Well, that changed today when I finally gave this place a try. I had their chorizo and asado tacos and both were really good! They also offered three really tasty and spicy salsas that set the meal off. In true Mexican style, they bring the bottles of salsas to the table so you can help yourself to however much you like. This will be my go to taco spot from now on. I definitely rate them the best tacos in Waldorf. I also had been looking for a place that sells pan frances to make pannes con pollo and they will now be my go to spot for that too. They bake them fresh and there were plenty when I went. Other places in the area sell them in bags (not fresh) or run out quickly.

I will say that the wait for the food was a little longer than I expected but the food was really good so it was worth the wait. Just keep that in mind when you plan your visit.“

But would you believe, I ended up having to leave my prescriptions at another Safeway? Now, I've got those to pick up, plus I snagged some energy drinks. Bonus: there was a delightful sale on fresh Italian style pasta salad! Alas, I still couldn't find the car cleaner and, oops, I used up all my cash. Bummer, right?“
