“It’s a whole vibe at MaryLou’s! I ended up here because I great friend of the family picked this place for dinner to catch up. The staff was really nice. The food I had was really good. I ordered the lamb chops with a salad. Delicious in my book 👏🏿👏🏿 I was also able to try some of their greens which were good as well. The DJ kept things interesting with a Trivia Game for shots of Don Julio. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning“

“Went there on Friday Sept 8 to see The Binta Campbell Experience and it was AWESOME! She and her band were really good, we enjoyed the "daye night" vibe. The wings were good, but the "crab dip" was definitely NOT crab....it was artichokes 😠🤮😳. and totally disgusting. I paid $15 for some crab dip with 🚫🦀 SMH“

If I had been blindfolded and didn't know that I entered the establishment via the parking lot of Belle View Shopping Center I would have thought I was in an upscaled restaurant in downtown DC. A Hidden Gem in Old Town Alexandria!

Alice Cocktail Bar exceeded every expectation and delivered an absolutely phenomenal dining and cocktail experience from start to finish.

The cocktails were outstanding. I started with the Alice, a beautifully crafted blend of Roku Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Lychee Liqueur, Butterfly Pea, Yuzu, and Egg White. It was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. I also enjoyed the Gold Rush, made with Four Roses Bourbon, Cointreau, Honey, Yuzu, and Egg White—a smooth, flavorful cocktail that quickly became a favorite.

My partner ordered the Beach House and the Flamingo, both of which were exceptional. The Beach House combined Espolon Blanco, Banhez Mezcal, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Aperol, and Lime for a tropical burst of flavor. The Flamingo was equally delicious and was served in an adorable tiki glass that added a fun touch to the experience.

For appetizers, we ordered the Crab Rangoon and the Grilled Pork Sticky Rice. Let me just say—both were A1 delicious. The pork was perfectly marinated and grilled, and paired wonderfully with the sticky rice and chili garlic lime sauce.

For our entrées, we had the Crab Fried Rice and the Phuket Seafood. Both dishes were absolutely incredible. The Phuket Seafood, loaded with mixed seafood, onions, scallions, bell peppers, young peppercorns, sweet basil, carrots, and roasted chili sauce, was bursting with flavor. Chef’s kiss! The Crab Fried Rice was equally impressive. In my book, both dishes are award-winning.

What truly elevated the experience was the service. Our waitresses were attentive, knowledgeable, and spot-on with their recommendations throughout the evening. Their hospitality made an already fantastic experience even better.

Overall, Alice Cocktail Bar earns an easy A++. Amazing drinks, outstanding food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere. I cannot wait to return.

“Food was amazing. Gets a little loud when busy but service was friendly and quick. Our table shared the lump crab dip which was AMAZING! I ordered 3 raw oysters and the waiter picked them. The names of the oysters are fun also. I got the bread pudding to go as well and it was delicious! I WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY TOO!!“

“Love this place! Dinner is always 10/10 but service, we had Alena or elena and she was just the sweetest young lady and she knows was shes doing, and she was honest too with her recommendations! We always have a tuna and oysters! Then steak this time we shared the cowboy ribeye and added scallops which by the way is not on the menu but elena said they could do it and it was delicious!! 5 star service“

“Excellent service. They made our valentines day. We took a chance and dropped in hoping for a seat at the bar which initially looked like it wouldn't happen. Timing and a great manager and hostess made it happen. Takoyaki and dumplings were superb. We loved the lychee martinis. The speakeasy vibe downstairs is quaint and welcoming. With my dad's birthday falling on Valentine's, I reached out to Bastille months in advance to accommodate our large party - and they were happy to coordinate with me, and made sure our space was accessibility-friendly. “Walking into Havana 151 you must enter a beautilly decorated elevator going to the 2nd floor where you're walk back in time to Havana, Cuba. Julia was amazing and graced us with an Old Cuban that instantly took me on a flight to the Caribbean! We ordered the Dos Dip with tortillas and plantain chips which paired lovely with the refreshing mango salsa and guacamole. Highly recommend and will be back for more!“
