“Today was my first time in S&S. Very clean when I entered. Everything was easy to read. They showed me the food and I ordered the Turkey Wings, green beans and sweet potatoes. Everything was very tasty, the Turkey wings were juicy and the sides delish! The portion sizes were very good for the price! I will def be a returning customer. Thank you!“

“So, I love me some fish! I was craving fish today and decided to give Seafood Shanty a visit since I was in the area. I had not been in quite some time, so I was not sure what to expect. Guys, I am horrible with taking pictures, but the fish smelled so delightful I had to try a piece while driving 😉. I was quite satisfied that the fish (trout) was very fresh, not overly seasoned or salty, and very delicious. I ordered the shrimp and fish platter for $15.99, which included 3 pieces of decent size filets, I believe it has 5 or 6 pieces of medium-sized shrimp, fries, and coleslaw. The fries were good, and the coleslaw was just okay. The customer service was friendly, and my food was served with smiles and thank yous. Needles to say I will be back for fish Friday and will take pictures!“

To say that the wings at this ABW in Fort Washington are absolutely the best I ever had, is an understatement. This is my new favorite place to eat when I head north to Maryland. And the service was great.“

“keep in mind that the lobster roll is a warm butter, connecticut style roll which was SUPER disappointing when I had the expectations set that it would be a nice cold roll with some warm butter drizzled or added to the side.

oysters were delicious and flavorful, but pretty small in size. menu was pretty pricy for the amount of food given. I will say, although I was disappointed in the lobster roll, the amount of lobster that they give was very satisfying- they pack the roll with a ton of meat.

loved the Walrus-based / oceanic atmosphere. and yes, this restaurant is based off of Lewis Carrol’s Walrus and the Carpenter Story“

“This was my first time and I went with a friend of mine visiting from Philly. We went for brunch or early lunch. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Food arrived fast and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the seared shrimp tacos, moist and tasty-yum, my friend had the market fish sandwich for that day, he absolutely loved it and he doesn't usually eat fish lol.“

“They have a wide variety of raw oysters, and my husband who loves oysters was in heaven. Our server was able to describe the taste of them so he could decide which ones he wanted. I had the lobster roll, which was very good. A pleasant surprise for us was that it was half-price wine night when we were there (Weds) -- so we ordered a second bottle of the Albrino, which was delicious. We were seated at a table by the window so it was fun to watch the people and dogs walking along the riverfront. Vola is a terrific casual restaurant...a little loud for us old folks...but terrific! Anytime we dine here, we always get the crab dip, which I especially like bc it's served in a bread bowl. ? I appreciated that the crab cakes did not contain fillers.? “What an experience! I came from Alabama on a work trip. My fellow employees and I were trying to find a seafood restaurant and stumbled upon this restaurant on a Wednesday. And boy did we hit the jackpot! The food was amazing first off. Second off, we had been wanting to do karaoke and there was a DJ! We sang at the table while we were eating and had such an amazing time. The atmosphere is phenomenal! “Paradise Island Grill came highly recommended by someone who’s taste buds I give the utmost respect, so I ordered this with the highest of hopes!! And I was not disappointed- the oxtails were seasoned to perfection.

The rice and peas were also pretty tasty, as was the sauce that came with it. The flavours from the Jamaican spices, butter beans, thyme and other ingredients all blended really really well and were definitely really moreish.

Dined in with my family and saw they added gelato now. I chuckled seeing a Chinese spot offering artisanal ice cream but thought it was really nice! They have guava, mango, coconut (which I got and was REALLY GOOD) and passionfruit and lucuma. Very densely packed for under $5 a pop. Something about a place having ice cream just brightens everything up.“

“Overall the food was good. My partner and I both ordered the Connecticut Roll. The bun was melt in your mouth good. Honestly the best warm buttery bun I've ever had. However the lobster it's was bland. No salt whatsoever. They need to invest in Old Bay and use it. Season your food. I thought the tater tots didn't have salt, but once I got to the bottom I seen the salt, but the tots were also bland and burnt. I'd go back, but please season the lobster with Old Bay 😫 and all salt to the tots.“

They offer delicious eats that are amazing and not on the regular menu with great wine pairings. They even give you an extra tasting for each wine. I had a large order (10) and was understandably nervous, but the person on the phone was patient and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. “Our server Jayla was awesome! She was very friendly. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m. weather was gorgeous outside and the outdoor patio was well covered, but we decided to sit inside. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. Jayla asked if it was our first time at Blackwall Hitch, which it was, so she went over the local favorites. She recommended the flaming crab dip and it was delicious!!! Jayla offered us extra Naan chips which I thought was generous for an upscale restaurant. I asked if she could bring us extra with a to-go box to take the rest of the dip. We also had the mahi mahi tacos and chicken-pancetta flatbread - both were great. Jayla often checked on us.
