Yes, if you compare this place with most cheap Chinese all you can ear places, $33 does seem expensive. However, fresh and high-quality food cost me. I am willing to pay extra for good, fresh food. As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). I was wondering if she did not cook her food well in the hot pot, or she couldn't handle the spices.”

They both were very tasty. The portion size of the queso was smaller than expected but so rich and flavorful that it was satisfying and good to share.
The atmosphere was family friendly despite many people meeting for drinks. My 11yo and I were comfortable and enjoyed our early dinner. I’ll return to try other menu items.”

“I ordered online thinking I would avoid the craziness that is the 24 hour Dunkin Baskin on a Friday night, so because I chose to order online I had to sit in the parking lot to wait for my pick up time (30 mins) which I rather do than to wait in line. While I waited I noticed it was starting to get hectic in the store. I only saw one employee putting orders up taking orders making things and I thought to myself wow how will she get to my order. As I saw as minutes went by she kept completing the orders and by the time my pick up time came I went in and realized she was just starting the order. With eagerness I told her that I saw her help all those customers and that I was impressed! Omilia deserves a raise or better yet, promote her to train staff on how to handle the rush and how to deliver. Also please do better at supplying the best products for customers. This location needs more employees like Omilia and better ice cream flavors!”

“My wife and I googled Osaka Ramen & Sushi restaurant and dined in here this past Tuesday night. She was a bit reluctant to eat here at first due to the basic decor and the fact that no one else was dining in. However, once we tasted the food and experienced the friendly and prompt service, we were overjoyed! We shared the Shumai for an appetizer, which was lightly fried with a delicious sauce. Next, I ordered the Miso Ramen which had lots of yellow noodles with vegetables and tofu. My wife ordered the Teriyaki Salmon which came with a salad, Miso Soup, six Sushi pieces. All the items were delicious. We also drank Saki. The server explained that the restaurant had just received their alcohol license weeks ago. To top off the meal, the server gave us each a sesame ball for dessert on the house. We ordered the Japanese egg rolls to go. The bill was only $64! As a new restaurant, we hope Osaka Ramen & Sushi thrives because the quality of food and the value are among the best we have tried in quite a while. We recommend this restaurant with 5 stars!”

There will probably be a wait for a table but it's worth it if you're in Rio already for a movie or something, as there's really no better place to eat in Rio.”

“I would rate the taste here 5 stars. The dim sum comes piping hot on carts, ready to serve. Today we ordered 5 baskets from the cart and one additional item that had to be steamed to order. However, when the bill came it showed 6 baskets plus the extra dish. We tried to explain that it was incorrect and even showed photos and videos we had taken, but they said they couldn’t adjust the bill. Instead, they offered us to take one dim sum item home.
I understand mistakes can happen, but at the same time the staff should listen to customers when there’s clear evidence.
As for the service charge that many people mention in reviews, the restaurant suggests 18%, 20% or 22%, but it’s up to you how much to give. I will still come back because the food is very good — I’ll just make sure to check the items as the staff writes them down to be sure they match.”
