As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Great place to eat, homemade dishes and desserts! Highly recommend it. I will be back!”

“I ordered online thinking I would avoid the craziness that is the 24 hour Dunkin Baskin on a Friday night, so because I chose to order online I had to sit in the parking lot to wait for my pick up time (30 mins) which I rather do than to wait in line. While I waited I noticed it was starting to get hectic in the store. I only saw one employee putting orders up taking orders making things and I thought to myself wow how will she get to my order. As I saw as minutes went by she kept completing the orders and by the time my pick up time came I went in and realized she was just starting the order. With eagerness I told her that I saw her help all those customers and that I was impressed! Omilia deserves a raise or better yet, promote her to train staff on how to handle the rush and how to deliver. Also please do better at supplying the best products for customers. This location needs more employees like Omilia and better ice cream flavors!”

“I would rate the taste here 5 stars. The dim sum comes piping hot on carts, ready to serve. Today we ordered 5 baskets from the cart and one additional item that had to be steamed to order. However, when the bill came it showed 6 baskets plus the extra dish. We tried to explain that it was incorrect and even showed photos and videos we had taken, but they said they couldn’t adjust the bill. Instead, they offered us to take one dim sum item home.
I understand mistakes can happen, but at the same time the staff should listen to customers when there’s clear evidence.
As for the service charge that many people mention in reviews, the restaurant suggests 18%, 20% or 22%, but it’s up to you how much to give. I will still come back because the food is very good — I’ll just make sure to check the items as the staff writes them down to be sure they match.”

The service was also good. We ordered a lot of food and our table was overflowing.”

“Celebrated my birthday at Empress Coffee & Cocktails with my girls, and it was everything! The food and drinks were incredible -- we tried so many dishes and loved every bite. The Persian pizza (a house favorite) was full of flavor, the soup and grilled cheese combo was pure comfort, and the turkey + havarti sandwich, bacon egg croissant, and margarita pizza were all delicious and perfectly done. The drinks? Just wow. The espresso martini is an absolute yes! We also loved the butterfly margarita, lava-shak martini, and Malibu sunset -- all beautifully crafted and fun to sip. Plus, they offer a nice selection of wines and juices to purchase. Shots were order as well. Had too much fun didn't take pictures of all the food and drinks. The space itself is perfect for a girls' day or night out -- stylish and cozy with beautiful lighting and thoughtful décor. We especially loved the artwork of the girl with the pearl earrings -- such a fun and elegant touch! We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, which made the whole evening feel extra special. Huge shoutout to Sam, the owner, who was such a warm and welcoming host. Highly recommend this gem for a celebration or a chill hangout. Can't wait to go back!”
