“This really cute little Japanese shop was a great experience. On the simple side, but sushi was delicious and my friends enjoyed their food as well (one got chicken soup, and one got chicken teriyaki noodles). The workers were also very welcoming and nice, especially when they learned it was our first time coming to eat there. Reasonable priced, will be back again :)“

“Updated: Ichiban continues to be our favorite sushi around. They have many other Asian dishes for those not craving sushi, of which they have an extensive variety. I typically prefer the Dynamite and ocean rolls, while sometimes sampling another like the fried rolls they offer as well. Definitely recommend!

We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, Kapow Goong Gai, and the Maryland Crab Roll, and every dish was bursting with flavor. Our waiter, Steve, was incredible—so kind and personable. He not only gave us fantastic food and travel tips for our upcoming trip to Thailand but also taught us how to pronounce and order some of the dishes we loved. It was such a thoughtful touch! I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t recommend this spot highly enough. Plus, it’s super convenient, located right next to the Stadium-Armory metro station. A must-visit!“

Atmosphere: nice but a bit dated. Many of the tables are uneven and no longer sit together flush. Ambiance was nice, Thai decor all around and wooden vibe.

“I went at noon and it was not crowded at all, and it was quiet, a big bonus for me these days. No loud music and people shouting in order to converse over it. The food was very good, very fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for Asian fusion cuisine and sushi.“

The pieces are juicy and really nice thick decent size, unlike other hibachi places this place does not use frozen thin cut salmon, and I hope they never do !! keep up the good work. I actually drive 40mins to this location and pass 100 other hibachi places only because I know the salmon is worth it every time !“

“Absolutely delicious and authentic. The Ka Prow with chicken, shrimp, and fried egg blew my mind. It was the perfect combination of spicy and savory. The service was excellent as well, and the restaurant atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. They have a bar featuring a couple decent southeast Asian beers as well. The mango sticky rice is a pleasantly sweet Thai dessert.“

“I watched a co-worker having what I referred to as "a food fantasy". They recommended this particular location for its service and food. My waze directed me to the location which is adjacent to the JCPENNEY parking lot in a strip with 2 other businesses.I arrived midday and was welcomed by a pleasant woman near the door. Within 5-10 minutes my meal was prepared which was a combo of teriyaki chicken and shrimp with veggies, noodles, green onions, sesame seeds and extra sauce.The staff was very pleasant and appeared to work well together as a team. The portions were generous and I would definitely eat there again. After I got home I too had "a food fantasy". My vegetables were perfectly cooked, not hard or overcooked. The meats were tender, fresh and flavorable.I have since eaten at two other locations and have come back to this one for a new combo. This time I added steak and the next time I will add salmon which came highly recommended by many people.I would definitely recommend this location, the service and the food options.

“Khin’s Sushi gets my vote for tasty sushi at reasonable prices. Khin’s is in an odd space. They share their small and minimal dining area with a pizza place. Khin’s also sells gelato. It’s a weird one-stop-shop for all things lunch. But I digress. We tried a variety of basic sushi like their California roll. It was all good. The rolls were not huge. But we enjoyed them. The service is a bit gruff. And the ambiance is pure 80’s fast food. But forget about all of that. Go in, grab some sushi while your spouse/partner/friend grabs a slice. And enjoy a good meal together. We will return.“
