“The women working here are sooo sweet and patient! I came with my young son to get my birthday scoop and get him a scoop too. They patiently waited for us to make our choice and gave it to us with a smile :). Plus the ice cream is delicious, just loaded with flavors! We got pralines and cream and cherry jubilee, and ate at the tables. The store is very clean and calm at 3:30 on a weekday.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly! The server gave my son a lot of time to choose ice cream, and let him pick a few flavors. She was very patient!“

She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

I recently got my hands on a French Press & have been doing tons of online research with the hopes of putting things together in real time. Garrett (hope I spelled that right) is so knowledgeable he walked me through the beans & my flavor profile & what I hope to accomplish (which is to stop spending $5+ a day on Americanos that I believe will be more rewarding to brew at home.) “Cute little coffee shop that I didn’t even know it existed! Met up with a workout group in front of this coffee shop. A few day later I decided to finally give it a try. It’s super cute inside! Definitely one of those aesthetic coffee shops. I was surprised on how empty it was inside (only 1 additional customer working on her laptops). I expected the place to be busy considering that it’s right across the street from the law school. I ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato and by far, it is one of the best I’ve ever had!! I didn’t see a food menu and the pastry display was empty. I’ve been back a few times and the drinks keep getting better and better but the lack of traffic has me believing that this new favorite of mine may not make it. The staff is friendly, but can be a bit inattentive when walking in since the place is ghost town and staff is not paying too much attention. Hopefully traffic of picks up soon! This place has potential!!“

“Wonderful local coffee shop. I have been coming here for a couple months now and the coffee is always flavorful and smooth and the owner and regulars are extremely friendly. Be sure to try the Spanish tortilla de patatas when it is freshly made in the morning.

“The owner is a kind, community-minded person with deep investment in the neighborhood. I'm a big fan of the breakfast burritos, which are filling, tasty, and reasonably priced, and always interested in trying the Filipino specials. And of course, great coffee!“

“Beautiful people, atmosphere, hand made gifts, and espresso drinks & teas are at Hon’s Honey Marketplace. There are a few tables and warm window-side seating for those who want to sip and read. I’ll absolutely “bee” back! If you’re not in the area, they often have a table at the Maple Lawn farmers market in Howard County, too! I swear their honey has helped my spring and summer allergies.“

“I wasn’t disappointed in the pizza - it was very good, but with this being my first time ordering from there, I was disappointed that the pizza wasn’t hot. You can’t call in to order and have to order online. It tells you a pickup time. We arrived exactly at the pickup time and the pizza was warm but not hot. The app doesn’t seem to properly track the order, as it said the order was not yet even being prepared when we tried to track it (pizza was ready). I’m not sure if I’ll go back for this reason.“

“I love hipster type places where the menu caters to all types of dietary restrictions. My only issue is that there was two homeless people passed out in the eating area, which kind of caught me off guard considering that a family was just eating there…. I don’t know if that is the norm, but considering it was my first time getting food from there it was off-putting. I get it’s a “cooperative” space, but they were not even moving…. Anyways the food was delicious, but I wouldn’t eat inside. The outside area is nice especially with all the puppers. Parking is nonexistent, but I found a spot two blocks a way then walked.“
