“I'd come back for a slice. Located inside the Western Market on/near GW University. A little hard to find, yelp map doesn't match actual location (used google maps instead). Ordered a half margarita half pepperoni pie. Was hungry so ordered a slice of margarita pizza while we waited. The slice was awesome!!! The crust was crispy airy and delicious. Disappointed a little with the crust on the whole pie... it wasn't crispy at all... a little chewy. Tasted like two completely different pizza spots. Service was friendly. There was room for small or medium sized groups with seating in the back or out in the market place walk way. They had a large selection of drinks including beer/wine/etc.“

My sister/friend introduced me to this place and I enjoyed it so much that I will even tackle the beltway to go into Bethesda from VA! The manager (M'hammad)/counter/table (Edwin?) staff were extremely nice, friendly, patient and just really kind! Pricing was quite reasonable & the same regardless of lunch/dinner - a real bonus. Easy parking, casual and just the right size inside. We had an amazing set of beautifully presented dishes before us incl: Adas soup (thinner than I'm used to, but SUPER delicious!), the falafel was so fantastic that I took a few dozen home to share w/family (will definitely try the spicier ones on next visit!), chicken shawarma & kifteh were nicely flavored & tender, and all the side dishes, hummus, baba ghannouj, salads, pickled items, pita bread hit the mark. “My wife and I were stuck in Washington, DC because of a weather related airplane cancellation. Since it was Christmas Day, our options for dinner were limited. We were very pleased to have chosen the Ottoman taverna. The food was phenomenal. The service was impeccable and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a dining experience in Washington, DC. While it is certainly not cheap, it is not terribly expensive either. The food was unbelievably delicious. Oddly, our Lyft driver who delivered us to the door happened to be Turkish and was telling us how great the place was as we arrived.“

Service has always been great for me and I've never waited too long.“

“Finally visited this sub shop. Had read about it on Eatery. Glad I went. I got the Teamster Italian Cold Cuts) and the Never Been Cheddar (Roast Beef). I also ordered 2 whole deli pickles. The Teamster reminded me of the subs I used to get at the Italian Store in Arlington. Wonderful. Eat it for lunch. The Roast Beef I will save for dinner. The large pickle was perfect. I will return. They are a bit pricey but I think they are worth it. The only thing missing were napkins.“
“$1 coffee is the best thing I’ve ever seen! Yes, you can get an 8oz cup of coffee for only $1. That means you can get 40 ounces of coffee here for the same price as a 12oz cup from Starbucks! I often avoid ordering spaghetti when I go to restaurants but this is the only place that my husband and I will race to see who gets to order the spaghetti (and not share). Last night we had the rigatoni as well and needless to say, no plate was left empty. The portions are perfect and service was equally as wonderful.“

It's one of my favorite places in the Rockville/Bethesda Area. When I'm in the mood for a salad with pizazz, this is the place I go. I get the child-size for lunch and the full size salad for dinner. The service is good, the last time I stopped by, I received a free miso soup. Thank you, for the generosity.I love their variety of teas and juices. They have table downstairs, tables upstairs and some outside. One of my favorite dessert that they offer, is the coconut milk pudding, it's so creamy and delicious. I hope they bring this back soon. Located on the outer edge of the Pike and Rose neighborhood, and close by to the garage this is a lunch favorite pick up spot for me. I can't wait until Spring when they have table outside and I'll be able to enjoy my lunch and watch the crowd go by.“

The curry chicken appetizers were wrapped in a delightful flaky crust that melts in your mouth. My son ordered medium heat drunken noodles. The dish was hot, even for chili-phile and spice-iphile in our party! The seafood dish -found on the Pad Thai page -was loaded with shrimp, mussels, squid and scallops for $20! The courses arrived hot, together and quickly.The coconut chocolate chip ice cream was divine. Topped off the meal with Thai coffee and tea. All of this fairly price. We really weren't going there because the food is top tier, we went because it has a great family atmosphere which ends up making the food taste. Little better. The service was superb for our party of 25 and I would definitely come back just for that. Even when we were leaving the manager (or who I thought) was the manager greeted us all goodbye and made sure our service was good during ordering. Just an added touch of care. Thank you for a great family memory and the price isn't bad either.“
“We went there for lunch today. We were happy to see how diverse the menu is. We each got a glass of wine and I ordered the Soft Shell Crab in a corn 3 ways sauce. The wine was a big red and the crab was enormous. The sauce was very well thought out and delicious, a perfect pairing with the crab. My wife got the mushroom risotto. I was impressed that the chef used Maitake and trumpet mushrooms in the preparation. The portion was quite large. The wines they sell are fairly priced and they have ratings on some of the wines.“
