“We were a party of 6 and used 2 F1 simulators. We all raced the Rookie level to get our bearings. Then the competition was on. Had loads of fun and plan to return with much more people. A great place for large gatherings. The cost for 90-minutes of racing is $31.00. Food variety was good and very flavorful. Recommend.“

“Part of a food court so can't say there's atmosphere, really. Things are made fresh, which is great, but it means you need to wait a bit. I like that they use the traditional bamboo steamers and serve them to you that way. Large portions in one order. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Vegan options.“

“The first time checking this place out. ordered it to go. Customer service was great, staff was knowledgeable of the menu and gave a great recommendation. “The service at the table was fantastic. However, the host’s service was terrible. Our reservation was at 6:30 p.m., and we waited for about 15 minutes or more to be seated. There was no notice or indication that our table was ready.“

“First time visiting DC, after exploring the city and carrying a toddler who was all set to throw tantrums the moment we sat to dine at Jab we met, the staff and the manager of the restaurant impressed us with their sweet and kind gesture by offering a cup of mango lassi and other treats to calm down our little bundle of joy who was bubbling with a lot of energy and excitement of being at new place and surroundings. The lady was really courteous and the food was great 👍 We enjoyed the meal and a bunch of thanks to the lady, manager and the whole staff of Jab we met👏 Thank you 🙏“

“This place is intoxicating!! The decor is very Gatsbyesque! Totally cool private gin club speakeasy vibe. Went here for after dinner drinks with my girlfriends and it really hit the mark! The cocktails were gorgeous and delicious! I recommend the Gimlet. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. It was a perfect ending to our girls trip and I can't wait to bring my husband for date night!!! Highly recommend!“

“In town for my birthday and found Trouble Bird in my search for a good cocktail bar. I was absolutely NOT disappointed. Bartender and server(didn't get their names) were very knowledgeable, drinks and food were made with care and the service was excellent. I come from a control state so their rum selection felt like it was excellently curated, and offered a lot of balance. Felt like a kid in a candy store. (Though a little worried it came across as more of a drug addict to the bartender😂) Definitely plan on returning next time I'm in town (probably even before I head back home this time around) and would certainly recommend to friends and family.“

“If you’re looking for a hidden gem, Singing Tiger is it. We actually stumbled upon this spot after another nearby restaurant completely dropped the ball and was out of just about everything—and honestly, it turned out to be the best thing that could’ve happened.
Tucked away with a speakeasy vibe, Singing Tiger feels like a well-kept secret. It wasn’t overly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable and intimate.
The service? Top-tier. Our bartender, Christian, was phenomenal, very attentive, personable, and clearly knows the menu inside and out. Her recommendations did not miss.
Now let’s talk about the food:
The salt and pepper shrimp was absolutely to die for, perfectly seasoned and crispy.
The pork belly buns were rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good.
And the Korean fried chicken? Simply sublime, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor.
The drinks were just as impressive, well-crafted, balanced, and the perfect complement to the meal.
Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. From the vibe to the service to the food and drinks, everything hit. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for great food and an elevated, low-key experience. 🔥🔥🔥“

“So I’m originally from northeast DC and back in the day, late 1990s early 2000s, DC had black stores that the community knew like family. Now, when I tell you Trinity Grill gives off that type of aura, they not only embody it, they emphasize it. Besides having great food Chicken Cheese Steak and today the Jerk Chicken sandwich on coco bread😩🤤. They have game nights with throwbacks like Jenga Pictionary, they also sell frozen margaritas, they even have Sports betting machines, When I tell you they have every convenience imaginable. Special shout out to the manager and the cooks they’re awesome“

“What a hidden gem Dionne’s and Scarlet & Oak are! I ordered the chicken sandwich and crab fries… and YUM! My friend ordered the fish sandwich and crab fries and our total was $28. For DC, that’s inexpensive but even better, it was delicious. The entire space is beautiful, clean, and bright. This would be a great place for many different types of events. I’m already thinking about who and what I can bring back to it so we ensure the local businesses within are supported and it stays open for years to come.“

“I had a 30 year high school reunion on May 3, 2024 at 3 pm. Everyone had a great time meeting with old friends again. The restaurant is quite spacious and accommodating for our needs.“
“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“First time visiting this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork chops with gravy ( ask for extra) , collard greens and Mac and cheese. My daughter had the baked chicken with the creole sauce 😋 with Mac and candied yams or sweet potatoes
So Good. Finished with the bread pudding and ice cream and banana pudding for dessert.. did not disappoint. The service with Bridgett was great, attentive, warming and friendly. Food was served timely. Not slow but just right. ❤💯Will come again!!“

“Visited Masseria on January 19, 2022. This one-star Michelin restaurant offers a tasting menu built around regional Italian dishes. Courses included branzino with sunchoke, agnolotti del plin filled with lobster and finished with basil and breadcrumbs, and strascinati with guinea fowl ragù and Parmigiano. Antipasti featured gnocco fritto with mortadella and pistachio, burrata with Wellfleet oyster and Kristal caviar, and carne cruda of Roseda Farms striploin. Dessert was torta al cioccolato with mascarpone and Okinawan black sugar gelato, followed by a Sicilian blood orange and green tea course.“
“Amazing restaurant. The view from the rooftop is great, can see a lot from there. The altitude helps bring the breeze and reduces the humidity. The server named Marta was amazing. She was professional, helpful with all our questions. (We came in a group of 6). The food was great, a small and seasonal menu. I loved the fries. “Great variety of drinks, reasonable prices, and plenty of space to hang out! They already had a great sound setup & disco ball so I was wishing there was a DJ & dance floor, but I also appreciated that it wasnt overly crowded.
I got the Jungle bird which I would've liked to have been a bit more bitter and with more molasses flavor but it was still enjoyable. Still, the prices and variety of options were greatly appreciated—I willl be sure to come back soon!“

“The food was good. I was there for happy hour and had the chicken and beef tacos. The views and seating were nice and chill. The price of the happy hour drinks were good but the consistency between the bartenders were off. You could order the same drink from both that were on staff and get a totally different color and flavor. One was not that pleasant but maybe she was having a bad day? Plus there was a mixup with errant charges applied to one of my friend's tab unfortunately that brought down the mood/vibe of the experience. I would try it again though but not running immediately back there.“
