The food and drinks were fantastic, I’m still dreaming about the sliders that were served. I can’t wait to come back to town and try the restaurant on a regular night. “The restaurant was very beautiful. We were seated immediately with no reservation. Our server was great and she’s explained the specials and helped us decide what menu items were good choices. The food service was higher and the cinnamon role was fresh. The Cesar wrap so filling and delicious. The Bellini’s were good too. Would visit again when I return to DC.“

“The Haymaker is a great cocktail bar and has some of the best and hardest working bartenders in DC. When we arrived, the bar counter seats were almost full. Three cocktails in and the whole place was packed with 90/95% having cocktails, our refills still came quickly. Why only 4 star? They have changed the food menu and not for the better. The dumplings are still great. We also had the quesadilla. My wife liked it, I thought it was generic. We both thought the loaded tots were a major fail, the 'load', what little there was of it, had all fallen off and was in the bottom of the bowl. The draft beer choice is also weak, with Goose Island being their premium beer. I hope they change up their menu for the better.“

“Food is good and menu has something for everyone. The best part is the staff. Anna is an awesome server. She has taken care of our family a few times and she always remembers us and our preferences. She is great with kids. The last time my daughter and I were there she had another table with a couple that had a baby. She took care of them seamlessly while juggling everyone else.“

“My family and I enjoyed a great and fun lunch. The appetizer and entrees were delicious. The waitstaff and hostess were excellent and friendly. We will be back to dine again in the future.“

“This is the place I go to when I want perfectly made deli style food. I do not know why but I wake up once a week craving a meatball sub from Orion Sky Cafe. The cold cut sub is very good as well and I am slowly trying the other sandwiches on the menu and have not found one that was not either very fresh or well prepared. The chicken or beef teriyaki with fried rice is a very large portion and perfectly prepared. The specials are all very different and worth a try. The staff are super out going and very friendly. One of my favorite things in the restaurant is the old school food menu displayed over the drink station. I would highly recommend this restaurant.“

“The private events staff is incredibly professional, responsive, and kind. I need to give a special shout-out to Flavio, Shari, Hilary, and Elmer. They made sure all my guests were taken care of and were attentive from the planning stage through the clean-up of the room. I would definitely come back for a reception!“

It wasn’t that cold out. They had the burners going, but then they moved us inside. The music was jumping. We went on Valentine’s Day per usual everything is packed, but it was good food. good laugh’s Good drinks, and good service. I’m giving it a 10 out of 10. I got The shrimp Alfredo it was so good. Honey got the chicken quesadilla and some barbecue brisket nachos it was all good.“

“I live nearby and I’ve tried several of the America’s Best Wings in the area. THIS ONE, at Addison Plaza, is the best. My wings are perfectly seasoned and sauced every time. The fries are portioned well, the staff remembers who I am and greet me warmly like an old friend.
I like their food and they’re quick as they claim to be. EAT HERE! I promise you won’t regret it“

“A hidden gem, we had a Large Party of 8, Mother’s Day with no reservations. After being turned away from 2 other restaurants, no seating. We came to The commons. Where we were welcomed to a spacious table. Great, no fantastic personal service from Sayeed & staff. Good food & drinks. Nice atmosphere, I most definitely will be back. Oh did I say there was no crowd, which allowed us to just really enjoy our Mother’s Day Lunch.“
