This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.“

“My Family and I stopped here because we love Greek food and heard this was authentic Greek food. First thing I tried was the calamari appetizer, as we are from Louisiana and love our seafood. The calamari hands down was the best I have ever had. The texture, the flavor, everything about it was fantastic. You can get that kind of quality in a 5 Star restaurant. Next home made fry’s, absolutely delicious. Don’t left me forget the Spanakopita, first time hearing it and eating and also fell in love with it. I had the Big Fat Gyro lamb, as well as my son and wife. Again another fantastic dish. Full of flavor and the size of these are huge so you’re getting a great deal. “This was my first visit to The Strand DC for Brunch In Motion hosted by DesFit & Dance ( the last Sunday of each month and it was great. I grew up in this neighborhood and went to HD Woodson and didn't even know it was there. I love the energy and beauty it brings to Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue. Although I didn't have brunch my family did and they enjoyed it. It was clean, great design and the GM Tre made sure we were well taken care of.“

“This was my first time going to this place. They only make one size pizza(small). The crust is fresh They even have cauliflower crust. They make the pizza in front of you and they have alot of toppings to choose from even Vegan options. After they place it in a wood fire oven and finish your pizza with any sauce you want. I got pesto on mines. Delicious. I will be back.“

“We visited at 6:30 on a Friday night at thr end of June and while the restaurant was busy, we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated as a table of four. Our server Brittny was friendly, attentive and checked in regularly. The one thing that was a little off was the timing of the food. The bread sticks came out, then the child's meal, then the salad, then the appetizer, then the main meals. The food was good. It's a chain restaurant so nothing was great, but it was all good. Overall a good experience.“

“Just under a month ago my husband and I had another shabby experience at the OG in Ritchie Station. I was starting to lose faith in one of my favorite Darden restaurants. We wanted to retry to have this experience again at another location which is about the same distance from our home which was in Bowie Town Centre.

The whole red snapper was seasoned perfectly, the whiting and catfish were fried just right, and those sauced wings? Straight addicting.

The chicken cheesesteak and steak & cheese were loaded and flavorful, the fried shrimp was crispy and fresh, and the seafood boil was packed with bold, buttery flavor.

Even the sides stood out — the mixed vegetables and shrimp fried rice were cooked with real care.

Honestly, this is one of those places where you can order anything on the menu and feel confident. No guesswork, just good food.

“I like their food, but they should make drinks mandatory with orders. Sometimes, for some reason, even if you select a drink, it doesn't appear on the order. And when you ask for it, they don't want to give it to you. And even when they have given it to me, they do it as if it were a courtesy. It's included in the price. If you explicitly say you don't want a drink, that's fine, but it's not always like that. And some employees should be more courteous in these situations.“

Food came out quickly and hot, even though we were a party of 11 and at least 2 other large groups were also there at the same time. “The few things I'd suggest is they fix is to
1. Bring back the garlic powder, the garlic shakers were one of the big reasons I went to Blaze Pizza in the past. Just recently they quit putting out the garlic powder which was a big mistake.
2. Lots of the other shakers are either missing (oregano is frequently not out) or nearly empty“
