“Every time I'm anywhere near Earl's while out doing errands I stop in and get a sandwich. Now this is the way a lunch sandwich should be- clearly REAL turkey meat, fresh lightly toasted multigrain bread, green (not white/yellow) lettuce and (in my favorite case) real cranberry spread. So good and reasonably-priced; I could eat lunch here many days/week if I were in the area more frequently.“

“Phonatics is great — we live right by it and go there frequently for pho on cold days when we want to warm our soul, and banh mi in the summer when we want the tender chicken with pickled onion on a crunchy baguette. There was even a time when I couldn’t find basil at any nearby store, and in a hurry I went to Phonatics and they were kind enough to give me a bag of Thai basil. It saved my bruschetta.“

The Pho has always been delicious, with a consistent taste and good amount of meat. The dishes are varied and served fast but without missing a detail. The prices are also very good.“

It reminds me of a latte you would have on vacation outside of the U.S. And the customer service was also top-tier. The cashier was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The vindaloo was good and had a good amount of spice to it but could be spicier (my personal preference) Was a good heat to make you have a slight sweat but enjoy the meal overall. Compared to the other portions my coworkers got it was quite small but had plenty of lamb in it. I do wish there were more potatoes added.

The staff were friendly I believe they’re father and son. It was the grand opening and they gave us 20% off our orders so for Vindaloo, cup of rice, and naan bread the total was $15.80 usually the vindaloo is $17 and some change (naan not included) definitely will try again when in the area.“

“Lots of choices for lunch, drinks, and desserts. My Chicken Teriyaki ($16.95) was very tasty and a good value. Dessert was Hot Chocolate ($4.95) with a slice of Banana Nut Cake ($2.50). Prices are reasonable and service was quick. The only downside was that it was uncomfortably cold inside. Space heaters in the winter and fans in the summer might make dining there more pleasant. Conveniently located across the street from the Gallery Place Metro.“
