“Got in for my business symposium at National Harbor really late on Sunday night to be in place for early Monday start. No restaurants open, but hotel front desk recommended Tom’s Watch Bar. When I got there, server recommended Prime Rib dip. Wow! It was delicious and huge. So glad Tom’s Watch Bar was open and good service and good food were on the menu.“
“The true tastes of Africa, with delicious yolof rice, stews, and vegetables. The service team is attentive and efficient, all held together by Chris, who mans the bar as attentively as he manages his front of house colleagues. Definitely worth a visit.“
“Tom’s Watch Bar is one of my favorite spots to go in the National Harbor! Shout out to our wonderful waiter Cam!!! Thank you for your amazing customer service and for making our experience at Tom’s wonderful! Highly recommend going to Tom’s you will always feel welcome and the food and drinks are delicious ? ?“
“I arrived solo and somehow felt out of place. My drink was amazing. Ordered 12 wings with 2 different flavors but I couldn't tell if they were actually 2 different flavors because they tasted the same. Neither was the flavor I ordered. Then again, I'm from Memphis, TN home of south and flavor is a must. According to reviews I was excited to go but unfortunately it was not a friendly environment in my opinion. My drink was good though.“
“The pho hit the spot. Nice fried tofu and seared king oyster mushrooms as the protein. Could use some more basil but otherwise great pho and broth. I was one of two diners initially, but the server was exceptional - walking to refill my water glass as soon as I finished it, providing me an extra napkin when I had used my initial supply, and even waving to me on my way out when the restaurant was busier. Would return. One bowl of vegan pho after tax and tip was $25 Updated from previous review on 2024-03-02“
“This is my husband and I favorite spot. Service is always on point. Food is not your typical bar food, it is yummy. Lots of beer to choose from.. Clud even gave us a tour to the restaurant in the back. We will definitely come.back for.brunch!“
“Definitely a great sports bar with pretty good food and a ton of seating. Stopped by since everywhere else on the street was completely packed and was not disappointed. 40oz beers are a nice plus and very fitting for vibe of the watch bar. Prices are high. Highly recommend the Buffalo chicken “
“I've been eating at this restaurant every time I'm in the Alexandria area, almost 20+ yrs. During this visit the service was great, very friendly staff. Calamari was ok, it was missing flavor and needed more spices. (Maybe it's just my southern coming out). The wings were good, the traditional wings sauce was perfect. I sure wish they would bring back their carrot cake, it was awesome, it's been about 7 years and I still remember how good it was.“
“Incredible dive bar, very impressive beer list, free popcorn?? Very attentive and efficient service, bartender was 100% aware of what was up. Great ambience/vibes. Couldn't ask for more. 10/10 spot, would recommend to anyone for a quality beer an unpretentious night out. “
“Came here with friends for dinner. Our reservation was somehow lost between systems, but the staff was thankfully able to find us a table in the lounge. Not ideal for dinner with 4 people, but we made it work!Food was decent, dessert was the favorite course by far. We did the restaurant week menu which was a great deal. Would be interested in coming back for a table in the dining room and to try other items from the menu.“
“Our service from Justin was so good. We also really fell in love with this bar immediately because we are vegan and they have a lot of vegan options on the menu. The vibe is great. The music is great and they have alot of sports. 10/10 definitely do it “
“A comfortable place to come and practice some swings and be provided with superb service. We walked in, immediately we were escorted to our bay by Tim and he kindly provided us with water and set us up to play. Later on we were met by our instructor Gazza and was very personable and knowledgeable. He was attentive and informative.“
“first of all, the owner is probably the smartest person I know, but watch out, she also has a sick aresenal of pranks. all the food is going to be amazing because she won't allow anything substandard to be served. service was great for our large group and there's lots of value priced products and specials. and if you want to watch rugby, look no further. I only wish I lived in D.C. so I could go all the time.“
“My favorite place in the broader neighborhood! The staff are friendly and attentive! The food is consistently good - everything on the menu is good, my favorites are the ribs platter, Gouda burger, steak and cheese, wings, blackened seared tuna app, and great fries too. I, and other friends, go out of our way for the hand-dipped chicken fingers (a staple pickup for take out since I live nearby). In addition to great selection of beers, they always have NA beer selections too, which I get when coming with the kids. They love the nachos, wings and kids menu.Kid-friendliness: Seating indoors is all high-tops, so low-tops are on covered patio. Good kids menu w/crayons. Never a problem with tables during non-peak hours, but if a big game or something, do the best you can.“
“From the outside you might wonder what this place is about but when you go inside it is a different story and when you go out back, it is different world. The food was great. The staff was attentive and the chef did a good job. Parking is not easy to find but it is on the still worth the visit for the food. I was the photographer for the Yelp event and it was a good time. Great work by the artist with the walls in the back. Every area told a story.“
“Lived in Buffalo for 5 years so the bar for wings is extremely high. These were pretty good though. I tried the lemon pepper, which had good flavor and were crispy. Also had the honey bbq which were drenched in sauce; it was a bit much. The beignets were delicious and the chicken noodle soup hit the spot. Overall, good food and would recommend. But can’t say they are the best wings I’ve ever had though“
“I walked by the door a couple times trying to find Ivy and Coney, I had not been since before the pandemic. Attended networking event on a Thursday, good space inside and upstairs (heaters on the rooftop). Friendly staff and good beer options - if you are in the mood for a pilsner, I recommend Three Floyds Speed Castle. My colleagues enjoyed the food but I didn't try anything.“
“I run an alumni club, and Clubhouse is my go-to space for events of all kinds - whether we're hanging at their weekly trivia nights, throwing singles mixers, or even having "fireside chats" with authors, the staff at Clubhouse is always accommodating, kind, and professional. The atmosphere is fantastic, never feeling close or crowded, the food is delicious, and, again, the staff could not be better. A wonderful venue for groups of all kinds.“
“Absolutely amazing chili! I loved the Texas and Cincinnati, ultimately went with the Texas with beans. Adding their chili vinegar was a delicious touch!Loved it so much I bought two of their spice packs to make at home.I'm leaving tomorrow but wish I had come in here sooner!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian chili, excellent!“
“Today, I tried Fight Club. I found their lunch menu offered unique combinations of sandwiches and sides. Each sandwich contained flavors one might not normally pair. I enjoyed a Genoa Salami and Coleslaw Sandwich! It was absolutely fantastic! I’d place it in my top 5 sandwiches ever! If you’re looking for a wonderful dining experience, check out Fight Club DC!“
“As usual‘s Walters Sports bar, accommodated our request for a beer pong tournament by reaching out and staff were super friendly and respectable. Clearly one of the best places to stop in while attending any sporting event such as a nationals game or DC United game.“
“We always choose Johnny's All American to showcase a lively neighborhood bar to our clients. The decor, paying homage to the owner's grandfather's army service and community involvement, is truly impressive. Witnessing a person's legacy reflected in the intricate details on the walls and artwork adds a special touch to the overall experience. It's a unique and meaningful atmosphere that resonates with both history and community spirit.“
“for my birthday they let us play as many board games as we wanted for free!! the vibe is very loud-college-friend-group, which is fun for us twenty somethings :) i can't tell how good the drinks are but service was fast! only sad part was they only have bags of chips for bar snacks, but they were yummy bags of chips nonetheless! and for my fellow wolverines... PLAY MICHIGANOPOLY!!“
“Best bar in DC. Love the whole team especially Chris, Jake, and Andrew. Those guys are the most welcoming staff I’ve ever encountered, and truly the pulse behind this place. I go into see them just as much as I do for the chicken sandwich.“
“Stopped in for a late night bite to eat after driving to DC. Just a short walk from our hotel, this restaurant is situated in a small neighborhood with huge variety if different foods to pick from The sports pub, is just that, a great place to get some upper end bar food, a full bar with lots of beer options and plenty of TVs to catch any game you want We only ordered some beer and nachos, but they hit the spot, fully loaded with all the traditional toppings. Though we only ordered nachos, the menu had lots of other great options, and from what I could see on neighboring tables, it all look delicious Service was quick and friendly. Next time I'm back, I'll definitely be back to check out other food options“
“We've been here quite a few times! It's definitely a great spot. Love the vibe, drinks and food. And kid-friendly which is always a plus. Good food menu with many options. My husband leans towards the IPAs and I always go their seltzers! In-laws were visiting so we wanted to take them to one of our favorite spots! The pretzel is by far my favorite pretzel and THE best I've had so far! And the we also love the fried chicken thighs! Pair it up with one of their small salads (still a HUGE portion!) and you have a great meal!“
“Huge thank you to the manager Thomas went above and beyond!!! My daughter was on a trip with school and left her wallet at the restaurant after they had left.. with me being in California and her not able to return to the restaurant he worked with me to be able to get it back to her at her hotel!!! Cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for him!!!“
“Went to a show at Capital One. Looked up places within walking distance after and this place popped up. Chill place with a cool atmosphere and great service. Moe was behind the bar and recommended the Sweet Devil pizza which was great. Wings were good too. Would definitely come back after another “
“This was my second time here. Bartenders are friendly and polite. I dig the atmosphere. They open late in the afternoon and have a large outdoor space with heaters, couches, tables and a smoking section as well as outlets, which was perfect for me on my laptop for a few hours. The nacho portion was larger than I expected which was awesome! With a perfect amount of toppings spread on- they did not skimp. Bathrooms are clean and I felt super comfortable hanging alone for several hours. Not sure if there is better parking near by but I took my chances parallel parking by Hook Hall.“
“My fav go to spot for after work! I work in the medical field in the city and it’s hard to find a good food spot with excellent service after a long shift. Me and my coworkers love rolling up after a long shift and treating ourselves to yummy food and drinks!!Shoutout for Morgan for always giving us the sweetest service when we are there !Also double shoutout to the GM Dom! He was so attentive in making sure we were happy during our visits! Def love the vibes in this place. 10/10(Truffle fries are amazingggg, all the apps are perfect)“
“I attended a Sunday brunch that was curated specifically for a group of 25 ladies. It was a pleasure to patronize a woman minority- owned establishment in Adams Morgan. Straight forward bar menu of fried foods, but the wings, calamari and truffle fries stood out for me. Will definitely be back to enjoy the Sunday Bottomless mimosa brunch. Great atmosphere and music, the bathrooms were CLEAN, and the staff were welcoming and capable. Drinks were flavorful and reasonably priced for the area. I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Excellent options for acai bowls and whole fruit smoothies, veggie options for the quesadilla as well“
“Super cool spot!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming here since Wilfredo first opened his doors. I’ve come to think of it as a home away from home. The food is exactly what the doctor ordered after a long days work. Karaoke Tuesdays has completely brought me out of my shell. It’s definitely become a hidden gem for the Brightwood community. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.“
“Brilliant evening! Russy is a phenomenal employee- a unicorn-attentive and genuine with care and warmth, but doesn’t overdo it. Some of the best service I have experienced, as they truly care about making sure you are having a great time. We will definitely be back! Fab food, the best service, chilled atmosphere. So glad we stopped by; absolutely a new favourite!“
“My company sponsored a corporate event here back in October. I worked with a person by the name of Ryan Hoehne. Ryan was awesome to work with! The event from planning to execution was fantastic. The food was setup and the ease of getting our drinks was excellent. We allowed staff to also order from the menu and the wait staff was wonderful as well. The overall atmosphere of Astro was really cool. Our staff enjoyed playing pool and watching a game on TV. Everyone had a great time and expressed that we should come back for another event! I highly recommend.“

It's the perfect blend of the thrill of being at a live game and the comfort of your favorite neighborhood bar. If you're in DC and craving a sports bar experience like no other, look no further than Sports & Social DC. You won't be disappointed!“
“Our server was pleasant and attentive. We ordered calamari and spinach dip appetizers, not very good. My wedge salad was good with shrimp. Daughter had a burger with fries. They gave her very few fries. Her mojito was “underwhelming”. Not sure we will return.“
“I got takeout from The Big Board this evening. I was only in there for a minute and a half, but the guy behind the bar—whose name I failed to get—was strikingly kind. And to top it all of these are hands down the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. No bad news.“
“Was visiting DC for the first time from Boston. Stopped in to catch the pats game. Horrible season, great bar. The bartender was engaged with the patrons and enthusiastic about multiple games and teams that were playing at the time. I would def recommend any Bostonian or not to check this place out for a game. Will be returning in the spring...Oh yea, they have game sound and stadium sound effects which makes all the difference.“
“Well “The Hood” is out and about as Spring is getting officially closer. Had lunch here and it was ok. Good bar atmosphere loud and exciting. Food: good had a la Cubana (possible spelling error). The gang with me had various food. Sorry for no pictures the hood was hungry. Service: good people checking on you as you go. We apparently threw the server off when she asked at the end if it was separate checks and we said yes. She had some difficulty with it 1/2 hr later she finally got the bills right. Atmosphere: if you like the bar type scene a great place to go. Well as the weather gets better The Hood will be out and about again. I’m not here to judge just looking for great food awesome service and a great atmosphere. Remember to be good to each other because you never know when The Hood will be in. Be kind to each other and keep adventuring!“
“This is our favorite local bar - AND the food is fantastic! The bartenders are always kind and attentive. The music great and the general ambiance has great energy. We have fun when the bar is packed, empty, and everything in between. Highly recommend for poetry Thursdays (every 3rd Thursday) and Live Music on Fridays. You won't be disappointed by the buffalo wings, fries, po'boy, or the catfish sandwich.“
“Met my friends here for HH and had a few Friends come meet. We had a great time the food was good the atmosphere was good but our server was awesome! Rebecca was kind was fast and made our experience so great. I hope to see Rebecca next time I dine at this fine establishment!“
“Popped in here with friends to watch football and grab dinner. It's a narrow space under Tiki on 18th with TVs covering almost every wall. We were all pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was, since we were just expecting standard sports bar fare! We shared four items: lumpiang Shanghai, mumbo salmon lettuce rolls, spicy pork sisig, and the jojo pansit. Everything was incredible. I loved how crispy the lumpiang was and the mango chili dipping sauce was great. The sauce on the lettuce rolls was SO good. We wanted to get the beef pares but they were out, so hope to try that again in the future. I'm glad I didn't know it was associated with Tiki on 18th before because I would have missed out on some delicious food. I stopped going to Tiki on 18th because they are predatory with the 20% included gratuity, by only showing you a final total on the card reader and automatically prompting for additional 20% tip. All that to say, I'll make an exception for The Game because the waitress reminded us about the included 20% which I appreciated and the service was excellent.“
“After a day of perusing museums and monuments, this was the perfect place to unwind before we headed back to our AirB&B.From nachos, pretzel bites and quesadillas to salads and chicken sandwiches- everything was yummy and delicious.Service was fast and courteous!! Draft beer and food were wonderful!! Highly recommend!!“
“I had so much fun at illusion. The DJ killed it, and I really was dancing all night. I went on a Friday night but it wasn't too crowded. I would highly recommend going with a group. I typically like to feed off of other people's energy, but it's kind of hard when not a lot of people were dancing. If you and your group are lit it'll be fun. The lounge is also very cute and there's a good amount of seating. Also a full length mirror in the bathroom. They hav hookah + they're friendly Music: throwbacks, Afrobeats, Hip Hop“
“Listennnnnnn, I've had Astro Doughnuts before and they are amazing. But the one in VA is the only one that gives you a doughnut with espresso in it! They cut a hole in the doughnut put Nutella in there and that keeps it from soaking the doughnut.....whoever invited this is a genius. Chicken sandwiches was one of the best I've had in the DMV. The service was fantastic. She informed me on the specials and how the coffee doughnut was made.“
“Bugsby Pizza in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, offers a delightful dining experience that pizza aficionados will surely appreciate. The brick oven pizza here is nothing short of delicious, delivering on both taste and texture. My dining partner and I opted for a large pizza, which proved to be so generous in size that we could only manage two slices each. Based on this, I'd suggest a medium pizza for parties of two unless you're planning on leftovers. The portion sizes are indeed hefty, ensuring you get great value for your money. The ambiance of Bugsby Pizza has a charming, vintage feel, reminiscent of classic old pizza spots. This aesthetic adds an authentic touch to the dining experience, making it all the more memorable. Customer service at Bugsby is commendable, with staff going out of their way to ensure a pleasant visit. Additionally, parking is conveniently located around the corner in a garage, alleviating any potential stress related to finding a spot.Pricing is reasonable, making this spot an affordable option for those seeking quality pizza without breaking the bank. The taste of the pizza is exceptional, with flavors that are sure to satisfy. Given the combination of delicious food, great service, and inviting atmosphere, I highly recommend Bugsby Pizza to anyone looking for a top-notch pizza experience in Old Town Alexandria.“
“Popped in for dinner on a whim and WOW. The best Mexican food we've had in DC. Great service, prices, and stellar food. Special shout out to the rice and beans, and cactus that came on my carne asada. We've already planned to make it a regular spot.“
“The vibe was awesome. Went to DC to support a friends college womens basketball team and stopped by for food drinks. Will definitely go back. I definitely got the most for what I spent. In order lamb chops in NC all the time and they are double the price in NC than I paid in DC!“
“Great local place with good beer rotating beer selections. Personal pizzas including gluten free with many speciality options. Main sandwich options seem to now not come with sides but servings are generous.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and vegan pizza options are called out.Kid-friendliness: Popular with families.“
“First time trying this place and I Had a good experience, the lemon pepper wings were really good, food didn't take long at all. The guy who took my order was super nice. Only criticism I'd give is the crab fries were very bland. No seasoning or anything. I had to add some old bay when I got home. I would try them again just probably wouldn't get the fries again“
