“The food was great! The owner explained how he brought food recipes from Afghanistan. Two of us shared the Kabuli Gosht Palau with Kabul eggplant. We also had the pumpkin called Kabul Kaddo that comes with bread. The flavors and freshness of the food are what stand out to me. We also enjoyed the Shugufa (means flower bud in Arabic) tea. It’s a whole pot of tea with a flower in it. It had a subtle flavor and aromatic smell. We ended with an order of Baklava. Everything tastes like it’s from someone’s home and unlike anything I’ve had in a restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The restaurant, though, is small. Make a reservation so you are sure to be seated. The restaurant seems to do a lot of takeout. The business also displays beautiful rugs for sale that adds to the feel of Afghanistan. For me, the experience of eating the food and drinking the tea in this sweet place was calm and comforting.“

“This has been our go to spot for over 10 years now in Hamden! Great for comfort, food or brunch and always a fun atmosphere. The service has gotten so much better over the years and everyone there is incredibly sweet and friendly. I love that they keep good staples on the menu, but are always trying to reinvent New dishes to complement the old standbys. And even though prices have raised at most other places, this place still remains incredibly affordable.“

“This place has the best pit beef and turkey sandwiches of all the pit beef places in Baltimore. It’s place that knows who they are and what they do well. I suggest carrying out. Parking can kind of be tough and seating is sparse. That’s not why you go there though. You go for the food which is consistently great. Know your order and you’ll be fine!“

“Best place for vegetarian food on campus and super customizable. A meal swipe gets you a wrap or salad with a base (lettuce or spinach) 4 toppings, a protein (chicken or tofu), and a dressing. My go-to is a wrap with spinach as the base, feta, olives, cucumbers, and chickpeas as the toppings, Beyond sausage (you have to pay extra for this) as the protein, and raspberry vinaigrette as the dressing.

“Wonderful experience. We loved our waiter, Gabe. My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. He told us congratulations and offered us each a complimentary glass of champagne right off the bat. We soon had warm bread brought to our table and then we ordered cocktails and two appetizers. All delicious. Baked brie was phenomenal. My husband had the filet mignon & I ordered a ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. After we were nearly stuffed, Gabe offered us a complimentary dessert to share. Overall an amazing experience. Cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and the food came out quickly. “My husband brought me here for our anniversary and it was absolutely phenomenal. It’s located in gorgeous historic Ellicott City and the atmosphere is romantic and intimate. The staff were attentive and professional…but the meal itself was divine. We had a 6 course meal and every single bite was a melt in your mouth happy dance. “The staff always treat me and my family well! Service is quick and they often provide us with yummy appetizers on the house while we wait for our entrees. They even offer to take family pictures of us. We have had an array of foods on the menu from rice options, to noodles, to sushi, etc. and they all are amazing!

They aren’t always super busy (at least for dine-in) which makes a peaceful atmosphere.

“Best sushi i’ve ever had. Nothing compares to Yamato sushi . I have been a customer for half my life. Very fresh and amazing quality. They gave me free dessert one time. I will never forget that.

Vegetarian options: Many sushi rolls without meat or fish available. Also, vegetable tempura and vegetarian rice dishes. They also have imitation crab and real crab.

Dietary restrictions: Many options. If you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, shellfish free, soy free, nut free or egg free there is many options for you.

Kid-friendliness: Kids who eat there are always well behaved. The Japanese soda with the marble in it is very popular with kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: No hills or steps. There is space between tables and their chairs are easily removable in order to put a wheelchair in place. People are very friendly.“

“I had the pleasure of participating in the tour (Guided Tour & Tasting - Brewing Focus in Baltimore) which I highly recommend. The tour guide representative was friendly, energetic and funny. The facility itself is state of the art and breathtaking. I highly recommend doing one of the tours they provide and it is family friendly with restaurants and they have their store.

I purchased a Guinness T-Shirt for my younger brother but I misplaced this at the store. I emailed customer service and the retail manager (she knows who she is) was very kind to send a new T-Shirt free of charge by overnight mail to my hotel in Baltimore. “We had a great time. Food was amazing and plenty of Gluten Free and Vegan options for two of our party of four. There were also plenty of meat options. Service was great from the time we walked in the door until we left. The cocktails were all good as well as the desserts.“

“This is our 3rd Easter dining at seasons 52 and as always the food and service were amazing. The only complaint, and not even one really, is when I make the reservation on open table I always put in for a booth. I have an elderly father with back and hip issues and the chairs are very uncomfortable for him to sit too long. However we never get seated at a booth. I made this reservation 3 months ago so a booth seating really shouldn't have been an issue. Regardless we will be back again next Easter because like I said the food is outstanding and our server was wonderful.“

Parking: You might have to wait when they're busy (ahem, Friday lunchtime), but otherwise it's easy to park.

Seems kinda overpriced for the “fast food” experience, but if you sign up on their website you get a free welcome burger, so first trip will be cheaper lol. Lots of burger choices and cutomize-ability. I got a double cheeseburger and a crème brûlée milkshake. In retrospect I should’ve gotten a more interesting burger, but the milkshake was delicious and had a good consistency. Bf got a veggie burger on a chard leaf wrap, which is probably the healthiest option and was very flavorful. And green bean fries, which were a fun side option.“
