“I love this place and the food is gread. I've been coming here since I was in high school. It's been a long time and I always ordered chicken wing. French fries or Fried Rice with Mayonnaise and ketchup. And the lady there takes detail of everyone of her customers orders. So if you like a regular she knows what you want when you get in there. Very friendly woman. 10 out of 10 recommend.“

“Ordered through Uber Eats 1-7-24 ! .. I've Never Had China Chef before so this day was lazy and cold and I was hungry!!.. So I ordered the Sesame Chicken Lunch ! which I love them already because they have Lunch Specials any day of the week! so I got this on Sunday!! Before 3pm they shutdown lunch service!... I really appreciated their packaging because it wasn't sticky or coming out/off of the container it was in, the Food was Piping hot even with a minutes after lateee delivery! . The flavors were as of real white meat chicken ,not chicken parts thrown together and blended!!. The meat was seasoned the sauce was spicy but perfect!! Balance of sweet & spice!. The broccoli wasn't touch and steamed just right! It had been seasoned too. And just plain white rice!...it stuck together so I'm thinking it's sushi rice ‍. Overall my experience is most definitely return here!! and the fact it comes with a Wonton Soup or Egg drop as no other place comes with an entree but rice!! the Shrimp egg roll was very Good!! The cabbage/ shrimps ratio was great!! Usually it's one shrimp and that's it with these shrimps also were fresh! You can tell!!! Because this salad shrimps are tough and precooked so I'm glad this place uses fresh ingredients all the way through!!..“

“I had a random craving for Chinese one night so I took a leap of faith and tried China Cafe Carryout for the first time, due to its reviews and I was not disappointed.I ordered the orange chicken, white rice, and a egg roll and my cravings were well satisfied. They did not hold back on the portion size either. I had enough for dinner and lunch the next day. My only issue was they only accepted cash. As someone who doesn't carry cash, I became discouraged but strangely enough, they accepted CashApp so I was able to pay for my food. There was a ATM inside the restaurant also though I had no intention in using it. I highly recommend though! Just remember, if you don't have CashApp or aren't comfortable with using a random ATM, then take cash!“

“This place is so fun if you love a variety of Asian foods, and this evening I happened to walk in on a fantastic live jazz band playing by the bar. Last time, we had Korean tacos and tempura, this time I’m having croffles, miso soup, and spaghetti. (I know it’s weird but it’s all so delicious)“

“I love Chinese food but I'm picky with the fried rice. I can say this fried rice lives up to my standards and I really enjoyed my meal. The only reason I'm rating them 4 stars is because of the Crab Rangoon it was a little too sweet for my liking. Other than that my wings were tasty, and so was the sweet and sour chicken. I would recommend and will return! Food was also ready very quickly!“

“Ok now this is the greatest Chinese restaurant in the DMV area. I have lived in the DMV pretty much my entire life & have eaten at dozens of Chinese restaurants and I still say that Jacky Chans is the best. Been coming to this spot almost 20 years now & it is STILL top notch. The French Fries alone will tell you about the quality of food here. Make sure you get the chicken wings with french fries and add salt pepper & mumbo sauce on everything. This is the classic that everyone should start out with. A few of the other amazing things on the menu consists of Chicken Sandwich Jumbo Cheeseburger with bacon Steak & Cheese 10 piece nuggets General Tsos Chicken Beef & Broccoli & Hunan Shrimp Best Chinese restaurant, don't forget it“

“They advertise as selling American Chinese food, so they're transparent. The food is ok I've had authentic Chinese food this isn't it. But if you're hungry it'll do. The food is freshly made and is not bad. Honestly the Chinese food all taste the same from restaurant to restaurant. I go there every so often so I would still recommend it.“

The Singapore rice noodles were the best I've ever had anywhere, and I've tried this dish at many restaurants in the past, as it's one of my favorites. We also shared sushi, which was very tasty. “I went with the beef and broccoli lo mein and it was pretty good. I had to add a little more soy sauce but it was good. The hot chili oil was SPICY and I truly enjoyed it!!! I love anything spicy!!! “I enjoy coming to this restaurant for my Asian food. However, the area that it’s in is terrible. They have homeless people and drug attic‘s that hang out all the time and there’s a liquor store in the same shopping center so there’s always a ton of drunks running in and out of the building. There’s also a 7-Eleven in the same shopping center that is a hotbed for homeless people. Sometimes I prefer not to have to deal with these vagrants.“

“Great portions, nice people, and they dispose of waste properly, whereas the wings and dollar places next door pollute the neighborhood with sloppy trash disposal and cleaning. Sometimes the whole neighborhood is covered with the trash blown out of a dumpster and bus stop is flooded with dirty floor washing water, especially the wings place. Bad!! Yum’s does not have any healthy offerings but the wings and dollar places do-so it’s a trade-off. Beggars can’t be choosy ??“

“*New owners September 2022**First, this place is CLEAN. It smells clean and looks clean. The staff is really friendly and attentative. The food is good but expensive for that I got. I got seafood mac and cheese $15 and not much seafood or seafood taste but it was tasty. I came at 5:30 pm on a Friday. Not many people here at this time. “I usually get their mongolian beef but tonight ordered first taste (things I'd never had) so Fried Wonton (10) and C15. Szechuan Beef combo it was! Both hit. I requested chow mein noodles instead of fried rice for my combo. The noodles weren't crispy so I think they gave me lo mein noodles instead but STILL...it hit just right. Spice level on point and they customized to my requests. I am not a fan of overcooked veggies, as is the norm with chinese food here, so i always opt out of cabbage, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and carrots. I was expecting just onions and green peppers but they surprised me by adding string beans (not over cooked) that tasted rather fresh. For those who haven't had fried wonton, the filling is the same used for dumplings and comes with a dipping sauce. Well seasoned, not overcooked filling. Very crispy wonton. I think this is my new fav appetizer for Chinese restaurants. The only negative was the eggroll that came with the combo. It had zero flavor. How can ya mess up an egg roll? lol My fried wonton made up for it.“
