“Our family loves Taipei Tokyo's food. We always use curbside pickup and have never been disappointed. Quick service, discounts, delicious food and a huge selection of dishes. We recently placed an order for eight people and they all enjoyed their dinners very much!“

“This is a chain ramen establishment which I found to be a fine place for a warm bowl of Japan. There is some depth with their broth and it's pleasing. Not sure I'll come back with the area yielding in my opinion better options. The servers are great with being super friendly. The atmosphere is fun and everyone inside like me was having a great experience. I do recommend this place and till next time....“

“It was our first time here, and we really enjoyed the food! We had the spicy miso based ramen with chicken katsu, the volcano base ramen with bulgogi, the chicken katsu curry rice and a Phoenix Special Roll. From the side salad & miso to the size & freshness of the roll (could've been spicier;)) and the simplicity of the soup bases and even the curry-- everything was delicious! Even my picky husband said it's some place he'd come back to;)“

“This place is an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 but it's better than the sun of its parts. We ordered a good selection of food and it was all good. The ambiance was good, chill, the service was prompt and attentive. Presentation was immaculate. The fish was really spectacular and tasted great. Soft, beautifully sliced, and no sticky slimy to be felt. Can especially recommend the white Flint roll, very creative blend of flavors and textures. The only complaint is that the nigiri construction could be better. It was too little rice to the point where the fish to rice ratio felt skewed and the necessary support under the fish was not present. There was also no adhesion of fish to rice, leading to the nigiri falling apart often. Maybe a small dab of wasabi or slightly stickier rice will remedy the problem. Still a great sushi restaurant and worth a visit.“

“Wow! Was expecting just a take-out container with three pieces of relatively boring fish -- salmon, tuna, one piece of a white fish. Instead I got a whole interesting assortment, including octupus, what I think was abalone, and lots more. Not to mention that the salmon was terrific! I also got the spicy tuna appetizer, which was very interesting. I'll probably order something else next time (and there *will* be a next time, and a time after that!), but it was quite original and creative -- haven't had anything quite like that before. I did take-out, but the place had tokyo vibes - small, quiet, intense.“

“For 20 years, the staff here has been wonderful to my family, whether we're dining in or taking out. We keep coming back because they are so reliable and the food tastes great. Their Chinese options taste fantastic, although I miss their Japanese options which recently went away under new management. Highlights include crab rangoons, kung pao chicken, and hot and sour soup. Clean, inviting atmosphere inside the restaurant.“

“I've only done "take out" here, so I can't speak to their table service, but I can tell you I've never been disappointed in their food. The sushi and sashimi have always been fresh and delicious. And for that alone, they get 5 stars! I highly recommend!!“

“My daughter loves the steamed shrimp shumai so it was eaten in 2 seconds from being unpacked and I didn’t get a pic. The salmon & Ikura sashimi tasted fresh. The Ikura was eaten too fast so no pic but the portion size appeared modest while the thick cut slices of the salmon sashimi is generously cut.The yellowtail jalapeño appetizer is a nice portion for the price but the sauce is too spicy for me but diluting it with soy sauce helps. The folks working here are kind and professional. The dining room is kept clean but not inviting to relax and eat. I prefer to get my orders to go or eat quick and go. I’m glad they’re in the neighborhood!“

“Is nestled inside the LOTTE grocery store. After ordering I waited almost 30 mins for my food. Considering that they were barely any customers I don’t understand why it took that long.I ordered the shrimp tempuraSpider roll and dancing kingWhile the sushi was delicious the wait was too long but will deff try them again!“

“Yiku is a great casual sushi if you want a quick fix that has a little more than yoyogi. They don't have any extravagant rolls but they do have specialty rolls! I also got the udon soup with a side of shrimp tempura and the tempura was soooo good. Our server was super attentive and the location was convenient.“

“Excellent gem in Germantown. Moon is a fabulous sushi chef. A long time ago, he was at Sakura and now has opened his own place. The sushi is delicious. The rolls are amazing. The price points are well under normal places. Great variety. Incredible service. Def check them out!“

“Food was excellent. Kuromame was as expected, but took forever to bring out. Eel-avocado-cucumber roll was great. Karaage also. Brussels sprouts were excellent, but a *little* too much dressing. The Kitchen Sink was superb. Everything tasted fresh with no fishy fishy. I liked the novelty of the Japanese Sangaria Ramune melon soda, which was refreshing.Service was quite odd and confusing. The nice lady who seated us outside kind of made it seem as if she would be our server and took our order, however after the food came, we were introduced to a gentleman who was our actual server. He was having a bad day, for sure, as I actually saw him ball up his fist in frustration. Sorry, dude - I get it. All the while, whom I believe may have been the owner was watching outside and not really being helpful. It was obvious Kenaki was not terribly organized when it comes to the service.I'd go back for the food.“

“Nishiki Ramen is a culinary gem that transports you straight to the streets of Tokyo with its authentic flavors and vibrant atmosphere. The moment you step in, the warm welcome by the staff sets the tone for a delightful dining experience. The takoyaki here is a revelation – perfectly crispy on the outside while being delightfully gooey on the inside, each bite is a burst of umami goodness, complemented by the tangy sauce and delicate bonito flakes that dance on top. It's a must-try appetizer that primes your palate for more.Moving on to the kaarage, Nishiki Ramen's rendition of this classic Japanese fried chicken dish is nothing short of perfection. The chicken is marinated to the bone, ensuring each piece is succulent and flavorful. The golden-brown crust is audibly crisp, making it an irresistible treat that pairs wonderfully with their array of dipping sauces. But the star of the show is undoubtedly their eel dish. The eel is grilled to a smoky tenderness, glazed with a sweet and savory sauce that enhances its natural flavors without overpowering them. It's a delicate balance that Nishiki Ramen masters, offering a dish that's both comforting and luxurious.Whether you're a ramen aficionado or a curious foodie, Nishiki Ramen's dedication to quality and flavor shines through in every dish. It's a culinary experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even left your seat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in the best of Japanese comfort food!“

“We order pick up 2-3 times a month here. The tempura shrimp appetizer always comes hot and crunchy. The sizes of fish in their hand rolls are generous. The inside of the restaurant is usually empty when I pick up my orders , but they are busy with takeout.Recommend to people who are looking for a good Japanese takeout place in Rockville.“

“The food is very good. I was incredibly impressed by the service and overall quality of the food. The ambiance is weird. It is almost like a food court in how it's set up. Regardless, the food we got was incredible and they were very attentive to us when we went. Their gyoza is fantastic and their sashimi just melts in your mouth.“

“We really like this place. We found out on UberEats and came another day to eat here. The food is very fresh and tasty. The service was great and they accommodated us with a stroller for dinner. The associates are all friendly. I recommend this place. The soft shell crabs are incredible. Very fresh and I love the sauce it comes with.“
“I came here around 9 pm on a weekday night because I was starving and craving some Japanese food. This place is technically located inside Kusshi Sushi, so you would just be seated regularly there and can order food off their menu. For Donburi Dojo and Ramen House, the food items are listed on the Silver Spring online menu (but you can still order them here at the Bethesda location!). I ordered a pork katsu don. It blew me away with how good it was and totally surpassed my expectations. All of the katsu pieces were cooked well and mixed great with the egg and onions. The sauce was my favorite part because of how flavorful it was, ultimately creating a slightly sweet dish that completely hit the spot for me. It's easily the best katsu don that I've had in the DMV area!“

“This is our second trip to Kabuto, hibachi and sushi, and we enjoyed our meal very much. Our waiter is especially friendly and helpful; it’s almost impossible to believe that he is also the bartender, based upon the amazing service that we got, we will definitely come back with our friends again and again, and again and again. Get vegan love: it’s AMAZING!! .“

“This place was very cute!!! Great vibes and really good music. I love that they had an Asian mart on one side as well. The food was also solid, I got the spicy miso ramen and a salmon roll that was very good. My friends got the vegan ramen, Philly roll, and volcano and enjoyed all their dishes! The drinks were also BOMB and pretty strong! I liked my friends better - it was called the Grasscutter and it was a gin based drink with cucumber and sake and it was soooo refreshing !“

“We used to go here all the time for sushi in the 90's since it was hands down the best in the area. After moving away 30 years ago, we found ourselves back in Germantown again and decided to see if it was still the same. I'm happy to say is it still as PHENOMENAL as ever!!! Again, by far the best sushi in Germantown, and quite possibly the best in the DC metro area! For reference, I was stationed in Japan for a year in the military and while I don't profess to be an expert, I definitely know good sushi. They still have the same fast and friendly service and cost is what I would I'll consider a great bargain considering the current economy. The volcano rolls are a must try. Highly recommend!!!“
“I saw the good reviews so I went to try. We got a tuna roll and a veggie roll. We came a little after lunch so some choices we wanted were sold out. The tuna roll was 10/10. My wife picked veggie roll. I would never order that, but it was also 10/10. It was as good as my tuna roll. So fresh and chilled how I like. The owner was working hard, and he apologized that our preferences were not available. He was very polite and friendly and the kind of person you believe is honest and clean/sanitary. 5/5 is the correct rating because the price is fair, you don't have to tip, and the quality is high. Enjoy this to go sushi chef while you can before he opens a full restaurant and has to raise prices.“

“Our Server and the Sushi Chef were very nice and friendly. The menu is very extensive. It was hard to choose because of so many good dishes. I had the Rainbow Sushi and the Avocado salad. The salad had avocado and seaweed salad on a bed of lettuce. Two of my favorites. When I'm in Germantown and need lunch this is the restaraunt I always go to.“
“Ordered on DoorDash and the food was really good. Usually Chinese food is dissapointing in the area but the fried dumplings were flavorful and crisp. The fried rice was good and the Szechuan beef is delish. Also the hot and sour soup was really good.“

“Here is a restaurant that has maintained their high quality of service and menu offerings throughout the years. We started visiting Niwano Hana in the 1990's and my mother's loyalty says so much about their consistency because Mom has dementia and much of what she recalls is in the deep recesses of her mind because she can't seem to make new memories.I'm so thankful for this place and the staff there for keeping up their excellence over all these years! You can find Mom and me there most Mondays before her classes at the Rockville Senior Center.“
“Such great quality sushi and fish. We came here starved and while our eyes were bigger than our stomach, we ate almost everything, which is a testament to how great the specialty rolls were. We had the screaming salmon appetizer, lightly seared and full of flavor. We then split the fantasy roll, angel roll, oishii roll, and Alaskan beauty roll. Each were fantastic and a generous portion side. No one rushed us and it was pretty quiet on a Thursday night which was perfect.“

“On a sunny Friday in July, we got carryout from Quickway Japanese Hibachi in Travilah Square shopping center. We ordered Chicken Hibachi with White Rice and Veggies, Beef & Tofu with Noodles and Veggies, and Green Dragon Roll, a Shrimp Tempura Roll topped with avocado and eel sauce. I liked how the food wasn't as greasy as Sarku Japan.“
