“This establishment is the best take-out in the Colonial Beach area. No kidding, the portions are wicked huge and the food is always delicious. When we order we often end up with another meal later, some of the sandwiches are that loaded! They often have Specials on their menu and their fried seafood is fantastic! I would recommend the Monster Breakfast Sub(also comes in a wrap). It has everything an American would have for a fat breakfast, only stuffed(stuffed) into a sub roll. Out. Of. Control.

“Just had the absolutely perfect “Crab Cakes Benedict” at Drift. The portion was appropriate for Ren (my dog) and I to share. Eggs were poached to perfection. English Muffin was toasted and buttered before assembly. Hollandaise Sauce was true…not just gravy! And the Bloody Mary was tall, cold, and 🌶️ spicy. Well done, Robyn!“

“Ended up here after several other places had closed their outside seating due to heat and we had our dog. How lucky were we that we were forced to try Scuttlebutt. The food was excellent, the beer options adequate and the service was great. The outside seating area was well shaded and they had several very large fans that kept the air moving and despite the temperature we were comfortable outside. We’re glad we came and we’ll be back.“

From the food to the staff, (I only drink beer so I can’t comment on the drinks) to the entertainment and you gotta praise the ambience and the view from that deck!!! “I dont live near here and gave not been down to Colonial Beach in a long time. I saw the tiktok of this place and decided to swing down and try them. The entrance is in front of the place by the beach on the broad walk. They could use a large sign out back saying the entrance is in the front. The place was busy but not overcrowded. We decided to get seated inside. The place is spacious and clean. The waitress was nice and helpful with the menu. They have a large selection to choose form. The food was good the only complaint would be the baked potato was over done and hard. The fish was great and well seasoned and cooked. The mixed drink was great as well. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about trying it.“
